"Imagine, four adults and three kids (all under 10) rock up after winning 1800 tickets at the arcade and then then fancying some scran. The youngest and eldest were both hangry. Sad times. We gave Prezzo a bell and they said they’d take us in despite my dismal displays (I didn’t get over 100 even with the rails up for bowling). The geezer took us all in even though we had excitable adults and served us in no time. Thankfully, there was a Geordie geezer who we all understood and he was a legend. He humoured us and was patient. Funny ‘n’ all. Had a full on meal and we were pushing it to get our train. Of course, someone wanted pudding. The geordie legend sorted us out in seconds and got the lollies sorted. I’d have given a massive tip if I hadn’t have spent a small fortune trying to get a sloth from a claw machine"

"Went for breakfast and despite 3 members of staff and only the ground floor open did not get served or even acknowledged by the staff. One guy seemed to prefer to stir a hot chocolate for 5 minutes rather than make eye contact. Eventually gave up and left wit still no acknowledgement. Not the first time this has happened so will never go again"

"We got seated by a lovely waitress in the cocktail bar that we reserved. It did take about 30 minutes to get our cocktail. 3 very under filled and the fourth was quite disgusting! Blue suede shoes! We requested the very under filled cocktails to be filled up which they kindly did do. Very nice place with a good atmosphere but the cocktails were not to the standard hoped. "My wife and I went here for lunch. She had a chicken, bacon and avocado salad, and I had spaghetti arrabbiata, as we are both health freaks. The food was very tasty, reasonably priced and the service was excellent. The restaurant wasn’t very busy it doesn’t look much from the outside, but you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how nice the grub is!"

"I was provided with a gluten free menu and thought excellent, lot's of choice, however, they only list the obvious allergens such as gluten, sadly onions and onion powder are the devil so I wanted to know if the tomato sauce contained any, they didn't know and sais the manager would come over, i never saw the manager, i would suggest as the sauces come in a can they had no idea do just didn't bother coming back to me, i played it safe with a salad of which the lettuce was brown and looked way past its best. Service was incredibly slow which you don't want in your lunch break, all in all not a good experience and wouldn't go back"

"On our previous visits to St David's, we had steered clear of this restaurant due to the limited vegan options on the menu. However, we decided to give it a try this time, and I must say, it was one of the best vegan meals I've ever had at a pub. The cauliflower steak was incredibly tasty, beautifully presented, and surprisingly filling—much more so than you'd expect from a cauliflower steak. I was too full to even enjoy the extra portion of chips, which were also outstanding. It's especially impressive how quickly the food was served."

"I have been dining at this restaurant for a long time, starting back when it was located at Silverburn and now at Braehead. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed during my recent visit. The pasta bowls were significantly smaller and only had three pieces of chicken in them (which we paid extra for). The pizza was also smaller than before; I ordered the posh pepperoni, which used to come on a large wooden board but is now served as a small round pizza with fewer toppings. At £16.50 for the pizza alone, I found this very disappointing. The soft drinks were expensive and overall, the portion sizes felt lacking. Despite the food still being tasty, I don't think I will be returning this time. I may try some other restaurants in the area that offer similar deals. I understand that times are tough for everyone, including Prezzo and smaller businesses, but this may result in losing loyal customers like myself who struggle to afford meals for themselves and their children."

"A spur of the moment decision to eat here after a terrific day out. We ordered Crab and Lobster Ravioli, Calzone and Spaghetti Carbonara. These all came to the table within 10 mins which felt very quick. The ravioli looked nothing like the pic on the menu. It had 4 pieces of pasta a few small warm tomatoes and a little sauce. Basically the portion of a small starter and they were charging £18. I had two bites of the calzone and had to push it away. The chicken inside tasted processed and everything felt a little raw. I’m not one for turning away food but I could not eat this. The carbonara was a huge pile of pasta with some ham pieces and not much sauce so it was very dry. Apparently my daughter had agreed to extra chicken which we didn’t realise was £3, yet there were a few small chunks of chicken. This was by far the worst meal we’ve ever had anywhere. All 3 dishes were shocking and from what the waitress said, other people have also complained about the ravioli dish. This was not freshly made as it said on the menu. The 4 pieces were from frozen and there was hardly any filling inside. Prezzo needs to seriously get their act together!!!"

"Location 1 of only 2 hotels in the villiage affording amazing views over the Loch from the lounge, restuarant and loch facing bedrooms. Large carpark at the front, easy access. There is a villiage store which sells most produce at slightly inflated prices as they have the monopoly. There are no independent restuarants or take a ways in the area. First impressions Looks a bit like a motel, the building could do witha bit of TLC with paint peeling off cills and walls. Staff Very friendly and helpfull. Room We had room 10 which was a loch facing room, the room was basic with a comfortable bed but no wardrobes for hanging clothes and limited drawer space. There was Tea and coffee makings in the room. The WiFi was non existant in the room and we had to virtually stand next to the modems at the top of the stairs or in the bar area to get a signal. The Bathroom had a bath with a shower. The tiled floor showed signs and wear around the toilet and room looked tired. There was no daily room servicing to make the bed, replenish the tea, milk and coffee or replace any towels or toiletries if needed. The fridge did make a noise so we turned that off at night. The room faces the main road some 50yds away but we noticed no noise from passing traffic. Probably because it is a quiet location. Food Disappointed that for £270 for 2 persons for 2 nights that that did not include breakfast which was £10 for continental or £15 for English. We both had Duck for dinner, I found the duck very nice with a lovely sauce but thought that 1 sliver of carrot, 1 small piece of pak Choi, 1 cube of potato, about 3cm cubed, and a couple of sprigs of broccolli was a bit meagre for the price. The bar had an extensive range of whiskies and limited ales."

"Had an excellent meal and drinks with the girls here last weekend! The ambience and decor are stunning; dimly lit and beautiful styled. The menu is varied enough that there is something for everyone and includes lots of luxury hearty favourites. Our meals were incredible and so were the cocktails we ordered. Every member of staff we came across were lovely, enthusiastic and friendly. My ONLY flaw (and it was a little one) was that, where we were seated, the tables did seem quite close together. This wouldnt put me off though as everything else was great and we will definitely be back!"

"Hi jacked when paying my bill at the bar with a 20 service charge . Why is this not mentioned anywhere on the menu or in the pub ? . I always leave a tip of 10 . This 20 is the cost of another meal !! If you’re not making enough on your product please put the cost up ! If you’re not paying your staff enough please put their hourly rate up !! Please do not stealth tax your customers. The meals the four of us had were excellent and my pie was the best I’ve ever eaten but I will not be eating here again unless this issue is addressed. "I decided to give this establishment one more try after having two previous disastrous experiences. However due to a family members birthday I felt that as it was her choice, I'd give it another go. What a difference the third time around, we were met and attended to by a highly professional and attentive young lady called FAITH. Nothing was too much for this young, food was excellent, service was second to none and her attention to detail was exceptional. "My children were devastated when the waitress forgot their desserts completely. We had ordered pancakes just before 5pm, their deadline, and I ended up ordering a coffee and a small dessert while we waited. Both came quickly, but we still waited for the kids' desserts. After half an hour passed, I asked for help and was told that nothing had been put through for my children. It was obvious that they were waiting, and I was truly shocked and disappointed. This experience really soured our visit. The manager's only concern seemed to be swapping out the deal so we paid for the kids' meals but received free pancakes. This was frustrating, especially since my 3-year-old was upset and I was trying to comfort her while being interrupted repeatedly and having menus pushed in my face. I don't think we will be returning to this restaurant in the future."

"I have been going to this Prezzo for more than a decade now, and most of the staff know us pretty well. My family and I had dinner there last night, and although it was busy with plenty of staff on hand, the service was lacking. We had to send our food back or ask for corrections multiple times, and the quality had declined. I am not one to usually complain, but our experience last night was disappointing. The prices have increased and the food was not up to its usual standard. The portion sizes seem to have been reduced as well. I ended up with an upset stomach from the food. On a Saturday night at an Italian restaurant, they even ran out of pizza dough. A group of 10 at a nearby table ended up leaving after only having drinks due to this issue. There are definitely some improvements needed. I will not be returning anytime soon."

"Had my first meal tonight and I was pleasantly surprised. Great food and great service. If I can throw out some constructive criticism, it would be this. A blonde foreign waitress, who I have to say was lovely and efficient, was just a little over efficient, ie cleared my dinner plates as I was still chewing, same as my dessert. Just a little patience would be perfect as she was so lovely. Also the starter, which was excellent (king prawns), got cold really quick, maybe the plate warmed would help. Am I being picky? Yes, but I have given it 5 stars as it was excellent. I'm so happy I now have a restaurant on my doorstep that with a slight adjustment will be become a fantastic place to eat."

"I came here with my daughter last Thursday. We were attending a funeral the next day and she had had a long flight from USA. I had driven for 5 hours. We wanted a quick dinner and an early night so I booked for 6pm. The restaurant was practically empty a good sign we thought. The waitress took our orders and our wines came out quite quickly. Our shared starter of one meagre cheesy garlic bread was very disappointing for the price. The restaurant began to fill up quickly and by 7pm was almost full. There were several large parties which we noticed were being served very quickly. We were NOT! We called the waitress over about 7:15 an hour and 15 minutes from when we ordered and we pointed out that while we were still awaiting our meals others had already been served. She assured us we were next. NO! We called her over again only for the same response. We eventually got our meals at 7:30pm! An hour and a half for 2 pizzas quite ridiculous! Not even worth waiting for too soggy and undercooked in the middle. We both left at least half. Nobody responded to our request for the bill so we put our coats on and headed for the door. Needless to say our waitress magically appeared and had the audacity to ask why we were in such a hurry as we had been here for only 2 hours!! Won't be returning."

"the restaurant was appalling. I arrived at the bar an ordered a cocktail, 10 minutes later they ask me what I would like! It took another 10 mins to arrive. This was just the beginning. We got a table and then were forgotten about. Our drinks order took ages to get to us and we had to remibd them. The food arrived all at once with the hot main being more tepid than warm. Water we ordered took ages to arrive. It just became comical it was so bad. Now I've eaten in this restaurant a few times and it's been great but this time was bad. Cameron the waiter was the only one who saved a complete farce...he knew it was bad and apologised. The problem is that you pay a lot of money for an appalling experience....I didn't realise until later that there was a service charge included otherwise I would have asked for it to be removed. So disappointing."
