"I visted prezzo oswestry the other night with my family, Service was great. It seemed very busy but I’m not suprised as it was a saturday night. I got greeted by what seemed to be the manager, he is very charming and probably one of the most attractive men ive seen in oswestry in a while! Tall dark and handsome. The girls i came across were lovely and made us feel very welcome I unfortunately did not get their names… the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time as it was busy but we were not fussed. We were handed the bill and we gave it a good read, it does state clearly in black and white that there is an optional service charge, as i was reading past reviews of people not knowing about this I’m a tad confused as to why when it literally states it at the bottom of the bill. Will definitely be back!"

"From our first welcome by Howell to paying our bill, we had first class, friendly service. Good choice of menus, and explanations readily given for anything we weren’t sure of. I had a beetroot and goat’s cheese salad for a starter, and my husband had white anchovy bruschetta. For mains we both had mafalde with a pesto of asparagus and peas with Parmesan, and a generous helping of goats cheese for me. To finish we had an affogato, with amaretti for crunch. To drink we had still water. Just perfect for a relaxing lunch."

"Been going here for a fairly long time going back a few years since it was at Silverburn and now situated at Braehead . Pretty disappointed upon our recent visit . Pasta bowls reduced in size drastically and had 3 bits of chicken in it (which we paid extra for) . The pizza was the same, ordered the posh pepperoni which used to come on a large oblong wooden board and is now served as a small round pizza and again with reduced toppings; for £16.50 for the pizza alone I found this very disappointing. Soft drinks expensive and overall it all felt lacking in the portion sizes quantity department . This is a shame as the food was still really tasty. I don’t think we will be back this time round and will likely try some of the other restaurants around that are doing similar deals food . I understand times are hard for everyone Prezzo including the smaller businesses but this will lose you valuable time served customers like myself who can hardly afford to feed myself and two kids as it is ."

"written by regulars. The food was decent, nothing amazing but good value for money. The service was a bit slow but friendly. Overall, a solid option for a casual meal in Didsbury."

"We dropped by for a quick pint and some nibbles after visiting St Andrews. We were the only ones in their outdoor seating area which felt a bit weird since nearby places were mobbed, but it was fine for us. Their beer selection is very limited, with only a handful of boring beers available so -1 star for that. The nibbles we got were fairly pricy so figured we'd get decent portions, but they were tiny, so -1 star again. The service was friendly though and the nibbles were tasty so it wasn't all bad. Overall an ok experience, but I'm not sure I'd drop by again."

"Atmosphere was nice sitting outside. But value for money not good. Requested glass of prosecco and measure was shocking. I did ask if this was correct measure as I seen her use the last of the bottle of prosecco for my drink. She replied ' yes two fingers from the top ' Never heard of this before. I did take a photo will add. My rationale is everyone 's fingers are different sizes. My honest opinion is that is was nearly closing and didn 't want to open another bottle. If its a prosecco glass the best measure to get it the same would fill it to the top even if the cost is more, you know then the measure is right."

"eating was a bad quality. the bratkartoffels were over cooked, only sharp and almost no potatoes inside. the Yorkshire pudding is over. the cauliflower cheese, a dish was delicious and the other looked like it had come from the previous Sunday. celeriac wellington was under the average, but those who had the bark had said was very nice. not enough force and took long to come when asked. jess, the waitress was nice. they would only expect more from a roast over £20. is not returned and is not recommended."
"the food we ordered was absolutely beautiful. so delicious, well cooked and served with a smile. children's meals are excellent value for money. the staff was very friendly, friendly and very helpful when we wanted to change our order. the manager is something else, he made my evening. such a funny, quirky on the ball sense for humor. the reason I give them only 4 starts, although they earn 5, the chairs are a little unloved, old and broken. we will finally visit prezzo again."

"It was our worst restaurant experience ever. Everything was dreadful during our visit. We have arrived on Sunday afternoon for late lunch. Table of eight- 4 adults and 4 kids. Ordered our drinks and food shortly after. Drinks arrived within a short while, however the waiting time for food was 45 minutes!! When approached the waitress to check the status of our food in a halftime, she said “she will check it for us” and never came back, not to mention any apology from them. Once the food arrived, no one even bothered to check back on us if the food was okay. In fact, food itself wasn’t bad, wasn’t good either, it arrived hot but not super tasty, very average quality food. Once we’ve asked for a bill and tried to use a Tastecard, we’ve been told they won’t accept it as we don’t have a QR code even though they could see a full name, expire date and membership number on the website. Totally ridiculous! Won’t be wasting my time to dine at Prezzo New Brighton ever again."

"I had a wonderful time sitting in the sun. I ordered the king prawn spaghetti, but my wife added her burrata from her salad to my dish, which was a delightful touch. I also want to give a huge shout-out to Alexandria, our waitress. When the manager unexpectedly walked out, Alexandria continued to handle everything with remarkable professionalism on her own. She truly deserves a raise or at least a bonus—listen up, management!"

"We booked a table for 9pm in Prezzo Stevenage on a Saturday night. We was running 10 minutes late so called ahead of time to let them know, however it took 5 rings/waiting on hold for them to answer. We were greeted pleasantly by a lovely woman and sat down at our table. The restaurant wasn’t overly busy, but had a few diners still in. We ordered our drinks and food together, and VERY quickly after our food arrived. It was hot, but not great quality. It felt very rushed, the food wasn’t what we had experienced before. We paid the bill, and left. I wouldn’t recommend going to Prezzo in the late evening, all other times we’ve visited around 7pm have been fine, but tonight felt very rushed and lack of quality with the food."

"service by the young lady named chloe were excellent, we were a bit confused to order on drinks and eating, as I had lean problem and she was very patient to explain everything. eat smart, pesto penne, gorgonzola pizza, mushroom risotto and seafood spaghetti all very bland and usual and the salat leaves for my pesto penne sides were not fresh. the resto was full and very comfortable, overall good experience, but rushed back for eating."

"Ambience on the noisy side. Why do groups of 4 people need to shout at each other across relatively small tables. Flavours in the food were relatively good as described in menu. Key ingredients in the dishes and dessert portion sizes were skimped in the extreme. Ingredients in Orata alla Sicilianna , Pan fried sea bass fillet approx 150 G , with herb crusted potatoes approx 100 G , roasted Marzanino tomatoes 4 very small marble sized tomatoes , garlic lemon and extra virgin oil dressing. We can buy this quantity and quality of ingredients for less than 4.00. Fratelli 's menus price 18.95 !!! Papardelle Salmone Smoked salmonwith leeks and onions in a cream white wine sauce, topped with wild rocket Really was hunt the salmon, and overall ingredients cost got to be less than 3.00. Fratelli 's menus price 14.95 !!! Draw you own conclusions on excessive mark ups. We challenge Fratelli 's to dispute justify these estimated buy in costs and what looks like a typical x 5 mark up from cost to selling. Initial reception was fairly friendly and efficient. Initial ordering ok, further ongoing attention and final atempt to settle bill painfully patchy and slow. Note the waitress offer Parmingiano free in pretty small pots ~20g to accompany main courses. Note they say Parmingiano not Parmigiano Reggiano which is a very different animal. Note ALDI sell the real thing Parmigiano Reggiano for less than 3.00 for 200g, last purchased by us about 2 weks ago. Perhaps Fratelli could clarify if their offering is Parmigiano Reggiano. We would not rush to go there again."

"I had wanted to try out this gastropub for some time and spend a few squid on some top notch food. Well it does not disappoint ! Its clearly popular and busy, the ambiance of the place is very inviting, comfortable and the many staff...very attentive and helpful. We had some calamari and garlic bread to start with and share, the garlic bread was amazing and reminiscent of the garlic butter found in french escargots, rich and delicious. The calamari was served with some lovely tartare sauce and hit the spot. Followed the fish of the day and sea vegetables. Flaky cod cooked to perfection, tons of flavours yet subtle and balanced. The famous fish and chips was beautiful and executed perfectly. Nothing more to add, it did what it said on the tin. Perfect. Now then for the spatchcocked chicken and chips spicy slaw). This was simply the best chicken I ever had said my daughter. Moist and melt in the mouth texture with just the right hint of thyme and lemon and a touch of smoky flavours. It fell off the bone and clearly had a huge amount of attention to details in the execution. Simple food executed as it should. We ran out of steam for dessert and shall be back in the pub section to try some out!. Many thanks to all staff and chefs, this is a must to visit and a box ticked (tickled? ; Until next time."
"I'm sad to update my review, but this place has seriously gone downhill. we ate here recently and couldn't believe how bad it's declined. We ordered a pizza and lasagne, the pizza was flavourless bland and soggy. The lasagne portion was so much smaller than previous visits and again so bland with no flavour it may aswell have been a frozen mass produced microwave meal. Staff were still as attentive as they have always been, but the food has really taken a dive . With all the complaints I heard just on our short visit, I know it wasn't just us unhappy with our food."

"We have had wonderful meals in Scotland but this was really poor. We had dinner there as a four on 14th December. The beetroot risotto with mushrooms was tasteless and the mushrooms were watery. I couldn’t finish it. The steak was well cooked but the peppercorn sauce had just one peppercorn and tasted of chicken stock. Bizarre. The turkey in the turkey paupiette was dried out. The haggis seemed absent in the steak and haggis pie. Overall it felt like the chef was off for the night and a replacement was just assembling the meals without much care. Such a shame. The Wind in the Willows theme is fun but there was a serious problem with the food. I hope that it was out of character and a one off."
"I have been dining at this restaurant for a long time, starting back when it was located at Silverburn and now at Braehead. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed during my recent visit. The pasta bowls were significantly smaller and only had three pieces of chicken in them (which we paid extra for). At £16.50 for the pizza alone, I found this very disappointing. The soft drinks were expensive and overall, the portion sizes felt lacking. Despite the food still being tasty, I don't think I will be returning this time. I may try some other restaurants in the area that offer similar deals. I understand that times are tough for everyone, including Prezzo and smaller businesses, but this may result in losing loyal customers like myself who struggle to afford meals for themselves and their children."

"The waiter at the beginning was lovely. The food was great. But after the food we were served by a lady. Honestly she was extremely rude. We were trying to pay, and being patient with ourselves, and the lady was giving us dirty looks and not being patient, shook her finger in our face, wasn't trying to help and when she got fed up with us she just left to serve another table whilst we were still trying to pay. Never offered alternative ways to pay whilst we were struggling to pay because her card machine wasn't working, wouldn't let us pay in cash and other another customer also suggested there was something wrong with the machine but shut us down."

"We googled the best Sunday roast in North Berwick and we found it at The Puffin! The roast beef with all the trimmings was delicious The beef was tender , the vegetables cooked to perfection and the gravy had the right amount of seasoning very often , from experience, chefs over season with salt and ruin it) The atmosphere was nice with other diners bringing their very well behaved pooches to sit quietly under the tables. I saw a staff member bring a dog a bowl of water , very sweet. It’s a family run affair, with super friendly staff . Recommend highly ."

"An absolute gem! We stayed for a long weekend (our first trip away from London) to enjoy some of Scotland’s beautiful nature and were not disappointed. The hotel location is superb (right by the loch) and the staff are incredibly helpful, making sure we had dinner reservations for the entirety of our stay and recommending various treks. Our little rescue Beagle absolutely loved the hotel as well, which offered blankets for her to sleep on in the bar after a long day of walking We will hopefully be returning soon and can’t recommend it enough! Thanks for taking such good care of us and for having us !!"
