"Cannot fault the staff or food.Both were good. However,we were shown to a table that,after a short time we requested to be moved from . There was a strong smell of chemicals,which we were told was something the floors had been treated with,in the hotel part,shortly before opening.Im astounded that customers were expected to sit somewhere that could affect their health.I left with a migraine.Furthermore we were kept waiting when we asked for the bill.We added it up because the staff could not access the digital till system.Obviously we did not leave the service charge and will not return to this establishment."

"Completely dissatisfied with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered the Full English Breakfast with tea, and they arrived together as requested. However, the tea was served in a small espresso cup on a saucer, and I had to ask for milk as it came in a milk jar with a lid. The breakfast itself was as advertised, but the plate it was served on was cold, causing the food to quickly cool down. The eggs were undercooked, and the plate was too small for the serving, resulting in the toasted bread falling off. The atmosphere was good, and the initial waitress was adequate, but no one checked in to see if everything was satisfactory. If they had, I would have expressed my dissatisfaction then and there."

"A good casual, relaxed Americana restaurant. A focus on a young, modern, vibrant vibe with a retro feel. Good comfort eating options with more selective fish and meat higher priced food. A satisfying meal as long as you don't expect to be wowed by the cuisine. Service was good. There was a mix up over our main which was sorted out fast and efficiently. A little pricey for burgers in a bun as you order all sides separate including chips. Overall met expectations."

"This is a little gem nestled in the heart of bustling north st, I’ve lived in Ashton all my life , and la Mediterranean has been there for quite some time ! I can’t believe I’ve only just visited this place to eat !! The staff were very pleasant and welcoming ! A big portion of lamb cutlets new potatoes and salad, my wife had salmon which also looked great , My lamb was tender and cooked to perfection ! "I was recommended this place by a good friend of mine. The food was excellent. For starters, we had Mozzarella sticks and Nachos, both fresh and delicious. They offered some unique flavored Mojitos, and since I love Irn Bru, I had to try the Irn Bru Mojito. It was tasty but a bit pricey for a soft drink (£5). However, I suppose you get what you pay for. For main courses, we had minted burgers, lamb burger, crispy chicken burger, and a Sunday roast. All were flavorful and satisfying, and the burgers came with skin-on fries. For dessert, we enjoyed Churros, Bakewell tart with custard, and a fried ice cream ball, which was surprisingly delicious. The food was all halal, and I would definitely return for another great experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but be sure to call ahead and make a reservation."

"We order from Bad Owl on a regular basis. Whether it be lunchtime delivery or board room platters, the packages are inexpensive, reliable and good quality. The owner Daniel is a brilliant Barrister who knows so much about the sourcing, creation, process and delivery of coffee. It's quite staggering as to how knowledgeable he is in this area. The team are always warm and welcoming. Overall it's great to see a local business doing well. Our accounts team use their online ordering facility on their website which is very easy and quick to use."

The cafe was in disarray with dirty tables left uncleared. The waiter was overwhelmed with the workload, despite his friend coming to assist. The service was extremely slow. "What a disaster! I arrived at Macy Browns on Saturday afternoon after having a table reservation for 2 weeks, only to find that they were closed. Despite receiving multiple emails about my reservation, the restaurant was not open. It was incredibly embarrassing as I had organized a work dinner and drinks. I spoke with the manager over the phone, who was unapologetic and uncaring. Based on other comments I've read, it seems this is a common issue that the manager allows to happen. He blamed the booking system being automated and not human-controlled for the mix-up."
