"I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. My group was one of only two tables there during lunchtime. I ordered the Ramen with an additional £2 charge for tonkatsu and £1 charge for a soft boiled egg. Unfortunately, it took over 40 minutes for the dish to come out, and when it did, the noodles were soaked in broth, the egg was overcooked, and the tonkatsu was dry. I took a picture of the ramen as the waiter was collecting it and informed him of my dissatisfaction, but did not request anything else. As someone who used to work in restaurants, I understand that everybody has off days. However, what really disappointed me was that the management never came to our table to apologize, even though we were one of only two tables in the restaurant. This lack of attention to customer service is why I can only give this restaurant a 1-star rating. If you're looking for sushi in Paisley, I would recommend going to Okome instead."

"First When we came inside the door the smell almost made me turn around and go out again. Not What I was expecting. The sign says ”Fine Japanese Dining” Hmm, not What I call fine. The place looked a bit shabby. Okay there was people sitting and eating and we thought Well give it a try, now when We are here. The ordering procedure with an app was akward so we skipped that. The kind waitress helped us instead and gave us fast service. Service was good. We ordered a 40pc sushi platter and a meat main dish. The main came before the sushis. Food was ok not more so we concentrated on drinks instead. 4pax food, drinks a snap at 140£. I am used to at least Triple that amount on a 4pax dinner. We left and had coffe, dessert etc at another place in town. Again you get What you pay for and conclusion this was good Bang for the buck."

"This is a review for the take away only, I haven’t been inside the restaurant. The delivery was smooth and the sushi was amazing. The sashimi fish was top quality and so fresh! Miso soup was good too. There was a sushi burrito wish was delicious. Definite top sushi place in the city centre."

"This restaurant, Fuji, located in the foodie neighborhood of Stoke Newington, prioritizes taste over aesthetics. It doesn't try to be hip or classy."

"oka is a chain of Japanese restaurants with deposits in london at the time of this review. I visited oka as my second choice when visiting the kingly court after a disappointing wait for shoryu. I had lucky that shoryu served me terrible because they served me one of the best shushi I've ever eaten. it was a weekend and the place was full, but being a solo dinner, I got table in no time. the server didn't suggest anything to me. Anyway, I ordered rendang chicken skewers as starter with rainbow roll and negroni for later. skewers were really delicious, although run the mill tasteful, but rainbow roll was star of the show. versatile, fresh and tasty with every bite, this is a plate I highly recommend. later I ordered hot cookie dough with matcha and espresso macchiato. dessert was also perfect and complements eating before it perfect. regarding the service, it was passable, but I expect more at soho. they served with efficiency, but the hospitality and energy was totally vanille. my neck was gbp, that is on par, what this soho calculated, its not cheap, but they know that they would pay a little steeper for the opposite, so that no problem for me as to me."

"I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while having lunch with friends and have been hooked ever since. The Moscow mule crafted by Ruggiero is phenomenal. Andrea and the entire staff are always friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and plentiful, the prices are reasonable, and the location in Porta Venezia is a bonus. The standout feature of this place is the daily specials, which are always changing and never boring. My daughter, who adores pak choi and found it in one of the specials, always insists on coming back for more! I highly recommend this restaurant to friends, as everyone has left satisfied. Great job, guys! Sofia and Juan"

"Came as a party of 12 for the boozy brunch option. Your drink choices are limited to Prosecco and a **** Geisha cocktail. They also give you only 1.5 hours at the table and while the servers were friendly throughout, it was hard not to feel a little rushed. The Maki Rolls and Sashimi were of a decent quality considering you could order unlimited portions. The Salmon Terriyaki and Katsu Chicken Curry mains both went down well with the table. I'd r ecommend the restaurant for group bookings if the 1.5 hour window isn't a concern (in fairness, they allowed us to stay for another 30 mins without getting too arsey). CAUTION: the prosecco is light and goes down VERY easily."

"There aren't plenty of suitable options for vegans so hopefully you’re not too hungry as quantities are quite small. We ordered a few tapas (bang bang cauliflower, vegan red dragon roll, chunky chips) and some cocktails. It's a nice place for a date for example or if you're more thirsty than hungry, although it won't be cheap. Food was okay but not amazing, it's not the type of place I would go regularly if I have other options nearby."

"The location is excellent, and as a group of vegetarians, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The vegetable ramen and miso aubergine were particularly delicious. However, the restaurant was quite cold due to a significant drop in temperature, and they had to rely on portable heaters. I would love to visit again during a warmer month to fully appreciate the experience. The staff were attentive and polite, and overall, it provided great value for money."

"unique atmosphere, very friendly staff, great prices and one of the best rams I had in the city! definitely my favorite Japanese restaurant. have often come back and have not yet received enough. we had ramen, sushi, takoyaki and gyoza. the broth of the predator was amazing five stars from five! thick and very tasteful. the sushi was okey. the gyoza and the takoyaki were super tasty and five when five. They are one must in our order each time. the place is small and could be a few days very busy so that they better book a table. they accept cash,- credit and debit cards. it is under the floor so it could be difficult to reach with wheelchair. no parking space, so they have to find a place. If you're looking for good rams, that's your place!"

"Service was very gracious. My leg is currently in a cast, and I arrived by wheelchair. The waiter helped us manoeuver over the step into the restaurant and around some of the tight corners. The waiter very helpfully prevented us from over ordering by suggesting we hold off on getting tempura until the rest of the food had arrived. We indeed didn't need the tempura after all. The tiny restaurant wasn't crowded at Monday lunchtime. There two other couples and a little group of Japanese businessmen. Our orders arrived very swiftly and the yakitori was kindly held back while we munched happily on salad and maki rolls. We shared maki rolls (salmon skin, california, spicy tuna) as well as yakitori and wafu salad. Attention to detail on the maki rolls was really impressive. For one thing, the rice was at the correct temperature. All too often, sushi rice is served too cold. The compression of the rice was just right too. Not falling apart when dipped in soy, but not noticeably compact either. The tuna in the spicy maki rolls had a beautiful texture and was a nice uniform cut. No scruffy scraps in the maki rolls here, which is all too often the case elsewhere. The tobiko in the california rolls was generous and there was flesh as well as skin in the crispy salmon skin rolls. Portion sizes for the wafu salad and chicken yakitori (not grilled over charcoal) were both generous. Both good, but otherwise not particularly remarkable. For dessert we shared mochi ice cream. We had one piece each of green tea, vanilla and chocolate, though we were offered a choice. The chocolate was stunning, being of good quality dark bitter chocolate, rolled in cocoa. Next time we will have three chocolate mochi, thank you. All of the flavours were pleasant though, and not overly sweet. Dessert was garnished with fresh berries and small slices of rice crispy square containing a little black sesame. In summary, we had high quality sushi that was priced accordingly. For those not constrained by office lunch hours I would urge people to take the 20% discount offered in the afternoon between 14:00 and 17:00. If I had taken the price more into account I would have rated Miyako 3.5 instead of 4. Wine is exhorbitant, with the cheapest white priced at £26 a bottle."

"The restaurant was closed and no one contacted us. We had planned to celebrate my mum's 60th birthday there, so we were really disappointed. Thankfully, we found Sushinoen, a restaurant just a 13-minute walk away, which saved our night. The Japanese food was amazing and authentic, highly recommended. We will not be trying Kirin restaurant again and do not recommend it to anyone."

"The food took quite a while to arrive. The restaurant has an interesting concept, featuring a variety of dishes inspired by Italian, European, Korean, and Japanese cuisines. While the food was delicious and beautifully presented, the concept seemed to lack cohesion, and none of the dishes were exceptional—they were simply average. The service was attentive but also slow. For instance, it took 20 minutes between ordering drinks and receiving a basket of broth. The restaurant could benefit from better organization between the front of house and back of house, allowing for items like the broth to be served more promptly, rather than making customers wait a long time for items that could be prepared quickly."

"I visited the restaurant in the city center, but was disappointed to find that there were no vegan options on the menu. My only choice was to order the vegetable sandwich without cream cheese. When I inquired about vegan options in English, the staff seemed confused, both by the term "vegan" and the language barrier. Overall, I did not enjoy my experience as the staff was also rude to us."
