"After hearing about the recent refurbishment, I decided to give the restaurant another chance. I used to be a regular, but the menu has changed, and some of my favorite dishes, like Fish Pie and Steak Pie, have been removed. I don’t understand the reasoning behind this since those items are usually popular. Additionally, I encountered issues with getting my Open Table points credited to my IHG account. I thought this would be a great incentive to support the restaurant, but unfortunately, it has not met my expectations unless they can resolve this issue for me."

"Hello...We met up with friends the table that we were allocated was in the middle of a war zone with children screaming and swearing. After a ten minutes we asked for another table as we could not hear ourselves talk above the chaos. We were shown to another table upstairs and this was better as we could hold a conversation. We ordered our meals and drinks and waited and waited eventually the starters arrived cold followed by the main meals which we had not even started !!!! One meal full rack of ribs and one steak were of a reasonable quality, the other two meals fish and chips were floating in oil and uneatable. My friends fish contained NO FISH just batter was this a joke ? I went to see the manager and brought him back to our table after seeing the table littered with starters and main meals he offered to replace the two fish and chips which was too late by now, our evening was spoilt and a disaster. Credit to the manager as he could see our disbelief on what had happened and waived the bill totally, this did not make up for the evening. We left and went to another establishment which turned out to be able to offer the evening we had hoped that your establishment could carry out without out all the above problems. This is not the first time this has happened the last time was in The Plough Sutton common road branch check you emails and you will see the problems we had there which were very similar. All in all things need to change unless us older fraternity are not required at your restaurants in future just the mob handed families and screaming children are welcome. "We have been visiting are local harvester , for all our special celebrations ie Birthdays etc and have always been made welcome. Friday 8 th September was no different, we were celebrating a Special Wedding anniversary 50 years with are family. The service was excellent , and Clara are waitress was very efficient and considerate of our needs. I had asked if possible , for a table not near the kitchen. The table could not of been better for the 9 of us. The whole evening was brilliant , the food the service , the atmosphere. The air-conditioning was a little on the cool side, but understand as it was a very warm night. Thank You Kira and her team , we will most certainly be back next year for another special birthday celebration. "

"13 of us met up and enjoyed a lovely family friends meal here yesterday. It’s a lovely harvesters- one of the older ones which we preferred, because its partially carpeted and has no large windows, sounds chatter doesn’t carry so it’s a lot quieter. The food was delicious and piping hot on arrival- well presented and the salad bar well stocked. Desserts all delicious as well especially the rocky horror !! Our server Sam was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, we had 2 people in our group with allergies and she was so attentive with them making sure they were catered for. So credit to Sam!! Overall a lovely evening, delicious food and great service"

"sitting on Wednesday night for dinner, the restaurant was quite busy and the staff was quite stretched. I ordered the dirty burger and my partner had the lachs and dillfischkuchen. both meals were extremely delicious and fill. for desert we had the millionaire shortbread sundae and they were delicious. overall we were very satisfied with our meal. I must add that we were served by daisy, and she was so pleasant and helpful that she is a credit in the restaurant, and we would definitely return."

"Awful Harvester! 15 minutes to be served at bar upon entry, with the venue nowhere near busy. Ordered food, steak came out well done instead of medium. Sent back, took over 10 mins for food to be re cooked by which time chips were cold. Salad bar looked like it hadn’t been refreshed in three days. Add to that flat beers, needless to say won’t be returning to the venue for a very long time!!"

"I went to this restaurant with a friend and had a fantastic meal. Kathy was very attentive and helped me navigate the menu, which is crucial for me as I have Coeliac disease. The food was delicious and there were plenty of options for me to choose from. I also appreciated that they had all dietary information readily available, giving me peace of mind when dining out. "The staff at this pub and restaurant are excellent and the establishment is well-managed. The food is good and I have visited multiple times in recent years, always having a positive experience. My only criticism of the Harvester chain as a whole is that they have removed all draught beers and bitters like Doombar. It's disappointing that in a British pub, you can no longer enjoy a proper pint of beer. While there is a variety of lagers available, not everyone prefers lager."

"My wife, 16 year old son and I popped in here for a drink on a Saturday evening. It was not very busy but still took about 10 minutes to get served at the bar. The first drinks were ok but when I got the next round I noticed it was considerably more than the previous one for a very similar round.It took five minutes to get acknowledged by the bar staff, including the girl who had just served me. Thankfully, I had paid by card and kept my receipt, although it didn 't show the actual drinks ordered. The manager offered to take it upstairs to the office to check it out by said there was no need as all I needed to know was the price of the drinks I had been charged for.Eventually it transpired that I had been charged £2.90 for a small glass of lemonade for my son, almost as much as I had been charged for a pint of beer. I told the manager that I considered that to be a rip off but she explained that the glass could be refilled free of charge. This wasn 't made clear to my wife who had bought the first round. The manager apologised but said I had been charged correctly. I was still fuming and gave her every opportunity to rectify the situation but she stuck rigidly to the rule book. When I told here that it was her choice but to expect to see the review on social media, she said that was unfair as I had been correctly charged.I object to this practice as it would appear to be ripping off families but worse still, it is encouraging children to drink vast quantities of sweet sugary drinks with long term health implications.Looking at the reviews on here, it appears that I am not the only one who thinks this place is awful. I cannot recall having visited an establishment that has more Terrible reviews than any other category."

"As soon as we entered the front door the female staff (I’m sorry I forgot her name- she had brown hair) we smiled and greeted my family. Her customer service skills were exemplary; she showed patience, expectations to our orders and more importantly true personality. Throughout the meal she asked if the food was satisfactory and we were all happy with everything. We haven’t been regular to this branch of harvester, but from the service delivered I will now gladly be a patron. The only thing I can think of to improve the service; may be after every starter(s) cutlery will be replenished. We had to ask for more knives and forks as we used or forks for the starters and salad dishes. When our main courses arrived we then asked for replacement cutlery. This is only a minor blip as the overall experience was excellent. Your staff at Monkspath has restored my faith in customer service 10/10"

"I have been coming here off and on for years, have no problem with the food, it's very tasty, but my issue is for the last times over the last months when we are just sitting down enjoying our salad the staff are...hovering over us with our main meal! "I visited this two g of the harvester, as it had not been in a past and the vegan options looked pretty good. they now have a very extensive selection, although they could do with a few more nets. I tried the chili maize carn, which was in order, but small in size compared to the veggie/fish dishes my elder ordered. I was thrilled by the unlimited salatable, but there is actually nothing to fill them because the brot, pasta salat and kartoffelsalat are not vegan. So it's really just salad vans. didn't ask for the dressing. they have a vegan crumb with egg dessert and my daughter and I really did. I would probably come back and try some brunch dishes, but in general I think this chain must make more up."

"Decided to get away here because the location was convenient and I have eaten in another harvester in the past that had a decent menu. Do not expect how pub is like this place (not a restaurant). They're collecting riots from the bar. For Takeaway there are a few starters and some chip pages and three vegan burgers. No desserts. Very limited choice. The food was nice enough, but due to the limited range we will not use this service very much. You can add and remove ingredients on the app, but it does not show vegan options here that feels like a mistake."

"I decided to salate for the main course as I love so much. my 2nd visit in the golden fleece this week. both paintings I was served to my salat from the same friendly helpful server (sorry do not remember their names). she was so friendly helpful with my vegan requirements. she took care of my meal and presented it so beautifully. I must say that I know that many would rather serve the salatable themselves. but I don't agree. I prefer someone who serves as the elimination of cross-contamination by other customers. I had good and bad experiences from other harvesters, but not these. I've always got great, friendly food. well done to all their employees in this restaurant. I should add that others in my party order get the same good quality from the menu"
