"We had a fantastic Valentine's evening at this restaurant. It was busy and lively, and the pizza was absolutely delicious with a perfectly crispy crust. The traditional and intimate setting added to the overall charm, even though the tables were a bit small. However, this didn't detract from the cozy and homely feel of the place, with candles on each table creating a warm atmosphere. The service was attentive and the staff were sweet. Overall, we loved our experience here!"

"I was pretty pleased with my meal here. The staff were efficient and our order was taken and brought out to us in good time. The food was nice. I had a chicken burger for my main which was good but could have done with more fries on the side as the price was probably at the higher end of what you would want to pay. Had a waffle for pud and certainly can't complain about the portion size of this, however it was a bit hard. Good experience overall but I would say the prices are a bit on the high side and expect a 20% gratuity added on to the bill which should be optional, especially with a table of 3!"

"This is mine and my mum’s absolute go to restaurant before a show in Edinburgh. Without fail this is where we end up at the start of our night. Great prices, food and staff – I cannot recommend this place enough. Last time we had the pre theatre menu and everything was delicious and served very promptly. I started off with the fried Camembert which was delicious and just melted in my mouth while my mum had the mushroom in the white wine sauce. For main course; one of my favourite Italian dishes is meatballs and pasta which luckily was on the menu – it had lots of garlic through it which is just the way I like it. My mum went for the lasagna which was lovely but extremely hot when it was delivered to the table. As if I hadn't eaten enough I had apple pie for dessert while my mum had a coffee. Everything was delicious and we were out in plenty of time for our show. I’ll definitely be back again."

"0 Star Waited a whole hour for a few milkshakes, wish I had read reviews before ordering. Update: the lady called me and started raising her voice at me , because I left a review, last words were “bullsh*t” and hung up , zero professionalism, narcissistic, i would definitely advice avoiding these guys or you will have issues. AVOID LIKE COVID. Very narcissistic owner, requires professional customer service training, did not expect her to use abusive language, I hope children and families dont witness her behaviour, absolutely disgusting."

"This place is very nice with excellent food and delicatessen but the girl serving hasn’t got a clue on what she is selling, as matter of fact I asked about an Italian cheese that she had right under her nose but she told me that they didn’t have it in store. "I’m pleased that this branch of Bel and the Dragon has re-opened after a short break. It’s always a worry in these plague-ridden times of Covid-19 and Boris Johnson as to whether the shutters will ever come up again. We revisited on a Sunday and immediately felt at home in the cosy slightly clubby atmosphere of a suite of small rooms with cartoons by the same artist on most walls. Upstairs are a few rooms forming part of a hotel. As it was Sunday the slightly pared-down menu centred on roasts including the whole chicken with potatoes cooked in goose-fat, sausages, carrots and a quarter of Yorkshire puddings. Quite a steal at £49. Perhaps the pigs in blankets if not the hummus and aubergine dips were unnecessary. We also struggled to finish our additional bowl of creamed cauliflower and cabbage. There’s a particularly good wine list but a pint of Amstel served just as well."

"Designed like an American restaurant with a mix of booths and tables but it wasn’t squashed. The waitress was friendly, professional and helpful. The music wasn’t so loud you couldn’t hear each other and you didn’t feel rushed to finish like some places. The food was really good and the portions were sensible. One of our party had a steak which was over done but when mentioned to the waitress she was very apologetic and reduced the bill to compensate. We all had a great time and left very happy with the service and the food on the whole. I would definitely go back just for lunch or dinner with friends."

"We love the Punchbowl..brought friends and it didn’t disappoint!One observation is, however...we would like to have eaten outside as it was a lovely day.But the wooden tables had benches and we are all in our sixties and find it uncomfortable with no back rests.The small tables and chairs were adequate for snacks but not meals for 4.So, better outside seating would be great!"

"Fabulous food as always, with plenty gluten free options (so nice to have a choice! ; service is excellent attentive, but not suffocating, staff take time to ensure everything is to your liking whilst providing great service with humour. I had baked camembert to start a small, tasty starter, with creamy camembert, then cod, with asparagus delicious, and the potatoes were to die for. I had the gluten free chocolate torte with raspberry coulis heavenly! This is a great place for everyday and for special occasions."

"Dine at Zack’s fairly often so know what to expect. Christmas time so bit busier didn’t seem a problem and staff were bubbly and friendly. There was a mix up with our orders though and two of five of us ended up with wrong type of potatoes. One got replacement pots on the house, I made do with the wedges that I hadn’t ordered. Otherwise fine until the end when the waitress (not the same one who’s served earlier) clearly wanted to get us out so she could go home!"

"This review is based on my experience on the day, and could be different for you, but I doubt it. I kept being told about a Burrito bar in Southampton and that I should try it. Well I attended today, with the friends who told me about this place, and have to say I had, up to this point never had a Burrito in my life. Seen many programs showing them but never had I ever tried one. Followed what my friend did, and I got my burrito the way I wanted it to be. You walk in, you’re asked if you want a small or large (unsure if medium is available burrito. Then your problems start, but in a nice way. So many main options it can be mind boggling until you get your head around it. The staff were fantastic after I chosen my main meat/rice of tomato rice and shredded beef. I then moved on to the extras, sauces, chose a mild sauce many salad options and it was then prepared for eating (folded then wrapped in silver foil then payment. And I was ready to eat at the tables in the front part of the shop. Warning that prices vary dependent on the size and the meat you have as your filling. Mine with shredded beef with the rice and toppings I chose totaled £9.95. No complaints from me as the food was hot, tasty, held together by the silver foil, filling and worth every penny in my opinion. Pricing is no different to any local take away I suppose but the bigger the meat (to many to list hear, but from pulled meat to chunks of steaks you have the more expensive it is but it is filling and good value. If you are not a meat eater you could ask for a vegetarian burrito, made of rice and the vast vegetable additions. Cannot see that being an issue. You can do take away, eat in or delivery. They do other dishes which I did not even get to look at but I would say all pallets are catered for. You could always call in advance or check their website, Mexigo Southampton. I think there are other Mexigo branches around the local area as far as Maidstone if you google Mexigo. Don’t shoot the messenger as this was the first time I had visited this shop/chain and I was unsure as you are reading my review, but I was satisfied with what I chose, and think if you plan your selections well either there or via the website you will not be disappointed."

"We had a lovely meal here. Two adults two kids. Kids menu was decent. Me and my partner had the bang bang chicken to start which was lovely! Both had the fillet cooked medium, sides all really tasty and home made chips and onion rings! The only thing I didn’t like was the guacamole (I know guacamole with steak but I love avocado! it honestly was the most horrible thing so pale in colour and smooth as anything it was clearly out of a bottle and not homemade. But that’s personal choice I guess! I would definitely eat here again the flavour on the steak was unreal!"

"Came here for out dinner and didn't disappoint at all. My partner had the all American burger and he has struggled to find a decent burger anywhere until now, juicy and big could not fault at all. I had the dirty dog BBQ pulled pork hot dog with melted cheese and bacon and it was amazing great tastes and not one bit of grease at all. Amazing prices and amazing staff highly recommend."

"Loved the cool decor. Nice furnishings and a light airy space. A comfortable casual feel. I visited first for an excellent cappuccino in the morning prior to visiting Kew Gardens (the coffee is much better here). There also were gorgeous cakes including an amazing lemon meringue pie. Pleasant, friendly efficient staff. I returned for lunch. The choice is very varied and their very modern breakfasts are available all day. I opted for folded eggs (a large portion of sort of folded very thin omlette), with roasted tomatoes and feta and smoked salmon sides. All were very generous portions. Their house rose was very good and well priced. I would definitely return."

"The restaurant is small and I could imagine it gets very busy, but I went during off-peak hours. The menu is short and reasonably priced, with a variety of items. I sat at the bar and was able to watch my food being prepared. It's important to mention that they do not have a liquor license and have limited tea options. The main choices are fizzy drinks and a few mocktails."

"I am exploring the North Passport and Byfords didn't disappoint. Very nice shop and place to eat with great menu selection. Not many places do Kippers and I was craving for one for a long time, so I went for it. Very good portion and very well cooked. Just a shame I couldn't swap my toast for sourdough even if I had to pay extra. The building inside is beautiful. Make sure to read the information boards or y will enter the building from thee wrong door. Parking can be a challenge if its busy and you don't know the area. I know at least two near by (something like less than £5 for 3h) but just need to drive carefully There is a few outside tables near the main road. If you subscribe for free on Norfolk Passport there is food drinks discount."
