"We visited here with friends. We had not been here for a while . Since then there has been a complete refurbishment. This is to a very high standard. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was beautiful and there was plenty of it. We only had Poppadams as a start which we were we were glad of as the main meal was more than sufficient. We all said that the price was good also working out at about £80 per couple which included a few drinks each. We definitely have plans to come back again."

"Ordered a large chicken tikka kebab with sauce separate at an extra cost from here and large chips and cheese got home to realise that there was no sauce and the chips were cold… I called to complain and he was so unhelpful and had a disagreement about it then eventually offered to give me my sauce which I paid for after speaking for ages in there own language but said I would need to come along for it and I said by the time I come all the way back along for the sauce my food will all be freezing and I want fresh chips they refused until I asked to speak to manager then he said bring all food back and we will replace it all so I did… I go all the way back along to get my fresh order and to return my food and explained that I was pregnant and can’t have the chicken reheated for them to then give me a donner wrap instead and reheated chips I got all the way home again to realise this and had to go all the way back for my refund! I wasted fuel there and back there and back again and they just looked at us and said it was another mistake shocking customer service and a ridiculous way to treat a pregnant woman"

"Food lovely, nice selection. Small amounts of each dish available so you get the sense it is kept fresh. Puddings were good. Nice, small pieces of cakes to choose from so you can sample different ones without waste. Ice cream delicious too. Drink service a bit slow despite restaurant being very quiet. Before it changed hands we liked that you could bring your own wine but Saffron have a no alcohol on premises policy so leave the wine at home. Toilets were terrible, no lock on one of the doors, no loo roll in the other, spider on a web inside one of the toilets not clean or well maintained, let's the place down I'm afraid."

"I booked the restaurant from looking at the reviews and I felt that it was worth a go. From the outside I wasn’t sure. It looked a little shall we say, dated, but upon entering the restaurant the décor was beautiful. We were seated and throughout the service was adequate. The pakora wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but still nice. The curry however was tasty. The chicken was incredibly tender. Reasonably priced. Worth the money I would say. However the toilets would do with a face lift. Over all would say it was good and that I would go back"

"really bad experience. not sure what restaurant went on to these other reviewers because the staff was really not helpful. has been referred to what seemed to be the chef of the restaurant immediately, which means that the personal 't formed on allergens, but the manager clearly 't understand what vegan meant also. He told me to get a dish and he'd tell me if they could make it vegan. I explained we could be here all day to go through the menu, but he insisted. I went, of course, directly to the sweet dishes to which he said no (to all! because they have flour in them. I tried to explain that flour has nothing to do with veganism, but he did not understand. I would leave the restaurant if we were not there for my vater birthday, as we began to make a scene when I tried to explain that they have vegan options available, but can't say which options these are. I went with a bombay aloo that is usually vegan. I feel like they have deliberately put a boiled egg in themselves, as I have never seen that it is part of the teller. So I didn't eat the meal and didn't say anything, paid and left. I do not understand that all restaurants have vegan options available, but I thought after the reviews here and the fact that they have advertised vegan options on their menu that they would be helpful, but it is probably the worst experience I had."

"Great little Indian restaurant, if a little out of the way! The meals are good, very authentic. The set dinners are very good value as well under for more than enough for people. Chicken dishes are the most impressive – big, tender chunks of chicken breast … delicious! The sauces are mouth watering, and very more-ish not ‘heavy’ like you’ll find in some other Indian restaurants. The only downside to this little place is delivery time we often wait more than an hour for our meal to be delivered, although this could be a glowing testament to how popular Mirage is"

"I'll come back. I always went to nakodar who rated one of the best in Scotland, but the last visits everything was overpowered with ingwer, so I gave this place an attempt based on the reviews I read. Angela the owner / chef asked how I my curries and made me a beautiful goanese with just enough heat and bags of taste. top notch, good part at a decent price."

"The menu at this restaurant is good, with efficient and friendly staff. I have been coming here regularly for a year and have never had any issues with the food. They offer delicious rich sauces, particularly in the zentara and kalli March dishes. When you order a main dish, you also receive a small salad. If you pre-order over the phone, your food will be ready in 20 minutes, even during busy times. They offer delivery within 20 minutes as well. The chicken tikka charcoal grill is a standout dish, with a light curry sauce that pairs well with naan and chicken. The pakora sauce has a nice kick to it and the portions are generous. In addition to Indian cuisine, they also offer pizza, kebabs, and chips. They have chef selection meals and accept orders through Just Eat. There is a small bench and a TV for waiting customers."

"Last Saturday night, on June 25th, 2022, I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I strongly advise against ordering from this establishment. My friend and I ordered takeout and both ended up extremely ill, spending the past 4 days and nights suffering from painful stomach cramps on the toilet. We are awaiting the results from doctors to confirm if it was indeed food poisoning. Order from this place at your own risk."

"I went to the restaurant and ordered a meal deal along with some additional items. Unfortunately, they were out of stock of the items I wanted. This should have been a red flag for me as the problems continued throughout the meal. The starter was overcooked and dry, the chips were overcooked, and the naan bread was burnt. Both the Peshawari and garlic naan were tasteless and had a powdery, salty texture. My dining companions and I were very disappointed and found the whole experience disgusting. I would not recommend Flame Tandoori to anyone. It was a long time since I had such a bad dining experience."

"I'm about to order for the second time from here and remembered I said I'd write a review for them if I thought they deserved the praise. They do! Me and my girl both loved the food. Mostly I'd rather cook myself than get a takeaway because I'm generally disappointed with places around Glasgow and feel I've just wasted a bunch of money on low quality garbage.
