"Ordered a large chicken tikka kebab with sauce separate at an extra cost from here and large chips and cheese got home to realise that there was no sauce and the chips were cold… I called to complain and he was so unhelpful and had a disagreement about it then eventually offered to give me my sauce which I paid for after speaking for ages in there own language but said I would need to come along for it and I said by the time I come all the way back along for the sauce my food will all be freezing and I want fresh chips they refused until I asked to speak to manager then he said bring all food back and we will replace it all so I did… I go all the way back along to get my fresh order and to return my food and explained that I was pregnant and can’t have the chicken reheated for them to then give me a donner wrap instead and reheated chips I got all the way home again to realise this and had to go all the way back for my refund! I wasted fuel there and back there and back again and they just looked at us and said it was another mistake shocking customer service and a ridiculous way to treat a pregnant woman"

"I'm about to order for the second time from here and remembered I said I'd write a review for them if I thought they deserved the praise. They do! Me and my girl both loved the food. Mostly I'd rather cook myself than get a takeaway because I'm generally disappointed with places around Glasgow and feel I've just wasted a bunch of money on low quality garbage. "I’m not sure why there are bad reviews; I have no complaints. I ordered food for myself through Uber Eats this evening, and just before the estimated delivery time, my meal arrived hot and perfectly cooked. I was at the door before the driver knocked, and when I mentioned that everyone was asleep, he kindly said he wouldn’t knock but still tried to contact me via my mobile. The delivery driver was really friendly and chatty, even though he was from Uber. I had requested salad and mayo on my burger, and they were included. The chips could have been a bit better, but chips are usually hit or miss. Overall, I was quite satisfied!"

"Had great meals here in the past but ordered a takeaway this evening and it was a bit disappointing. £50 felt steep for what we got. The butter chicken honestly tastes exactly like heinz tomato soup with some chili! It was also chicken tikka meat.So although not unpleasant it was nothing like a butter chicken. My partner's lamb korma was also not like a korma, no coconut flavour. I also found the pakora too cardamom-y but that could be personal preference. The nans were decent but I do think the ones we had eating in in the past were nicer, fresher. Unfortunately probably won't be back."

"This evening some friends and I ordered from Balti Spice from just eat and waited half an hour past the estimated delivery time to contact them. After ringing them them assured they delivered it to us (even though they didn't) and if we had wanted to take it further we should contact just eat. Just eat said they could do nothing until the restaurant autherised a refund of which they refused. Long story short we've been charged for a takeaway we never received and both Balti Spice and just eat refuse to admit they were in the wrong. If I were you I wouldn't take the risk and order from Balti Spice. I'd order from one of the many other Indian takeaways available in the area of which I'm sure you'd receive much better service from. It's extremely dissapointing after ringing Balti Spice twice and ringing just eat. What a waste of time and money"

"Great little Indian restaurant, if a little out of the way! The meals are good, very authentic. The set dinners are very good value as well under for more than enough for people. Chicken dishes are the most impressive – big, tender chunks of chicken breast … delicious! The sauces are mouth watering, and very more-ish not ‘heavy’ like you’ll find in some other Indian restaurants. The only downside to this little place is delivery time we often wait more than an hour for our meal to be delivered, although this could be a glowing testament to how popular Mirage is!"

"The menu at this restaurant is good, with efficient and friendly staff. I have been coming here regularly for a year and have never had any issues with the food. They offer delicious rich sauces, particularly in the zentara and kalli March dishes. When you order a main dish, you also receive a small salad. If you pre-order over the phone, your food will be ready in 20 minutes, even during busy times. They offer delivery within 20 minutes as well. The chicken tikka charcoal grill is a standout dish, with a light curry sauce that pairs well with naan and chicken. The pakora sauce has a nice kick to it and the portions are generous. In addition to Indian cuisine, they also offer pizza, kebabs, and chips. They have chef selection meals and accept orders through Just Eat. There is a small bench and a TV for waiting customers."

"Last Saturday night, on June 25th, 2022, I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I strongly advise against ordering from this establishment. My friend and I ordered takeout and both ended up extremely ill, spending the past 4 days and nights suffering from painful stomach cramps on the toilet. "I went to the restaurant and ordered a meal deal along with some additional items. Unfortunately, they were out of stock of the items I wanted. This should have been a red flag for me as the problems continued throughout the meal. The starter was overcooked and dry, the chips were overcooked, and the naan bread was burnt. Both the Peshawari and garlic naan were tasteless and had a powdery, salty texture. My dining companions and I were very disappointed and found the whole experience disgusting. I would not recommend Flame Tandoori to anyone. It was a long time since I had such a bad dining experience."

"Over the past 20 months, I have had the pleasure of purchasing new audio equipment from The Sound Organization. The service and advice provided to me by Matt were excellent. I recently visited their location in York to demo the new speakers, the Donator D7.2, and the Rega Planar 8 turntable. After the demo, I decided to purchase both items as well as Atacama furniture. Once everything arrived, Matt offered to come to my house in Kendal in the Lake District to install the audio equipment. This was a fantastic service that I greatly appreciated.
