"Have wanted to try this takeaway for a couple of years due to good reviews and a love of spicy food. So finally ordered online last night. Went for the set meal for two consisting of Poppadoms and chutney, two pakoras, salad, two mains with...rice and nan. Had the Himalayan Lamb and Hot Khathmandu Chicken for mains and it was delicious. Everything was cooked really well. Normally with a takeaway you have to re-heat the mains if you eat the starter separately but not in this case, it was all piping hot. Only very slight criticism was too much rice and a plain nan instead of peshwari or keema, but overall an excellent meal. Well worth a try."

"forget the decoration, everything about eating. the best lamm karahi in glasgow there is no doubt about it and that with the best in Scotland. it is really hard to get a better tasting curry full hold. freshly made, fresh nan and red. taste and taste were divine. When I got through, I made a point to come back. overpriced restaurants could learn something or two from these youngs. service with a smile, also had the huh tikka, which is delicious. recommended and five stars all over the way. If I'm ever up the neck of the forest, this place is saved in my favorites."

"I ordered a tandoori full chicken for including the delivery and service charges , the menu said that full chicken comes with rice and salad and it takes minutes . the minutes passed and more than an hour after that the driver came but he neither buzzed the intercom nor phoned me but he was pushing the main door like there was no buzzer !!! I opened and took the food only to find the rice was not there , the salad was only onion and lettuce plus one small piece of tomato ! and the chicken itself was not cooked properly ! so I paid all those money only to have a disgusting chicken and missing rice .Extremely not professional with a negative attitude and dont deserve even this one star . just avoid them at all cost"

"Ordered food at 17:45. At 21:25 I am still waiting. They were late with the delivery and then on opening the food they delivered the wrong food. They assured me they'd send the wrong food and in the following hour and a half they said it was out for delivery twice. They are only 5 minutes drive from my house. 5 phonecalls and well over 3.5 hours later, nothing!! I used to love this place but I won't ever order from here again. Below is not a donner which would have been fine if it was one item wrong but it was the whole families "

"Got some chips with curry sauce just now on my way home from work. The curry sauce is more like a spicy, warming butternut squash soup. On chips it's a bit weird tho, not really what I expected, and they didn't really go well together. I'd totally pay for this as soup with some flatbread on the side, I think it would easily be a hit at a posh café, so do keep it on the menu"

"A group of friends and I visited Glasgow and stumbled upon this charming restaurant. I was impressed by the beautiful paintings on the walls that brought back childhood memories. However, the food was a letdown. We ordered fish pakora and chili chicken, but the presentation of the chili chicken was unconventional and not to our liking. The taste was also disappointing. The Gol Goppa was a standout dish. The chicken Chettinadu and prawn korma were okay, but lacked authenticity. The biryani was overly buttery, overshadowing the spices and fragrance. The naan was the highlight of the meal. The staff was polite and the service was efficient. Overall, this restaurant may not be suitable for those seeking authentic Indian cuisine."

"I had booked a table for 2 as it was hubbies birthday. When we walked in we were warmly greeted and shown to our table upstairs. Please note there is a lift available). The chair was comfy and plenty of table room. The waiter brought our lunch menu and explained the dishes on offer. Please note they have changed the lunch menu to that shown on their site). It now a choice of three complete menu dishes. We ordered the meat menu and it arrived on a sectioned stainless steel plate and we were not disappointed what was on it. One section for starter, three section holding chicken, lamb different curries, boiled rice and chapatti. Oh boy was it tasty and we cleared our plates. We washed it down with a J20 and Coke. The bill was £25.80 to which £5.90 was for the drinks). I would recommend this place and for one will definitely be going back."

"Went here yesterday have ended up with food poisoning today. We ordered chicken jalfrezi, lamb curry 2 shish kebabs, with naans. They listed on their menus they have aloo gobhi and chicken saag but when you ask it’s all non existent. The naans were rock hard as if the dough had been sitting for god knows how long, the lamb had virtually no lamb in there only big lamb bones, the chicken jalfrezi was watery, with raw peppers floating around and the tiniest morsels of chicken ever! The shish kebab took 25 mins to get to our table and they were grey, smelt like cheese and after regretfully taking a bite it was confirmed that the chicken was clearly off and inedible. The gaffa also over charged us when she seen the extra money in our hand and took a fiver just for the fun of it! Never experienced such poor quality food in my life! The gaffa who likes to pretend she is not the gaffa should take responsibility for her business rather than shouting on the phone and then hiding away when we had come to get our money back. Maybe if you paid attention to the quality of your food you wouldnt be so argumentative defensive over food that is unfortunately out of date smells very unpleasant. The gaffa needs a wake up call if she believes the food is edible let alone nice. Won’t be coming back here ever again that’s for sure! Do your best to avoid unless management changes."

Staff face masks NO Staff disposable gloves YES Reduced...table capacity NO Asked for contact number e-mail address NO Plastic screens NO If this is how eating out in August from Mon-Wed is going to be then I would rather pay full price and eat out at the weekend....at least there would be less chance of catching Covid-19!!! It has been a while since we have eaten here but feel the standard is definitely lower. No salad with samosas and onion bhaji dishes and poppadoms stale. Ordinary prawns in King Prawn dish and less chicken in the other dish....mainly sauce!!! Will be interesting to see what the owners response will be and whether improvements will be made going forward. I have eaten out quite a few times at different places and this was the worst establishment for social distancing."
