A delightful assortment of fresh vegetables, hummus, and crispy falafel, served with warm pita bread and tahini sauce.

"beautiful place where we sat down, the decoration was very Moroccan and colorful. eating was amazing, there were 4 of us, so we ordered two of the plates to share as starters that were cooked to perfection. all netzen were excellent we had steaks, lammkofta and chicken kebabs all served with reischips. my only criticism would be that the service was a little on the slow side by saying that it would not stop me going back there. if they are in the opposite, I would recommend this place."

"I usually never write bad reviews as it's best to say nothing at all if you don't have anything nice to say. Also we are quite easy to please. However, this restaurant is just atrocious. Rude waitresses who didn't know what was on the menu! Rude service when pushing people out of the way to place food on the table. Orders wrong. 2 hour wait for main course and restaurant was empty. Accompaniments clearly out of a jar......one being Strawberry jam with chicken! I kid you not! Drinks spilt on guests. Food brought out at different times. The list goes on and on. Like I said, usually I don't write bad reviews but this was too poor to miss."

"Where to start. It’s probably best to look at the photos tbh. The ‘poppadoms and pickle tray’ was this abomination of a poppadom. Minus a pickle tray. The bhatooray (naan) was a laughable mess of half cooked whatever. The dried beef….well. Extra naan didn’t turn up. The food arrived half cold. This entire tray of food was £56. No doubt there will be a reply saying ‘we’re sorry you didn’t enjoy your food blah blah blah’ but sending this shambles out for £56 is a joke. Basically, go somewhere else."

"We had a steak and ribs to start with. The ribs were fantastic, they fall off the bone and were absolutely delicious. The steak was served with a peppercorn sauce, which in my views was a bit different, but actually one of the best l have had. Overall a great place with good steaks and ribs for the meat lovers out there. The only niggle that I would have, is the smell off those ordering meat on a stone. Despite we didn’t ordered it, we did leave we the smell. However, that did ruin the experience we had. Food wise good overall a good experience. I will come back for the ribs..."

"Su Sushi is a great restaurant that recently had a slight increase in prices, but they are still better than any other Ramen/Sushi place. Whenever my friend and I go there, someone always greets us with a friendly hello or a few nice words, as we are regulars. It's nice that sometimes it's just us, as we prefer a quieter dining experience. The closing times are convenient for us, as we can grab a bite to eat after being on the buses all day. I recommend going on an empty stomach when ordering the ramen, as the portions are large but delicious. My favorite dish is the chicken katsu ramen, while my friend enjoys the black belt. The Tokyo roll or rainbow roll are excellent choices for sushi. The menu offers a good selection of dishes that are easy to read. The only downside is that they only accept cash, so we have to make sure we have enough money before heading in."

"This is our local Indian restaurant which has a reputation for high end asian food. We have frequented it since it opened but now we feel it has dropped its ' standards largely through lack of staff training. I tried to book a table for 2 but the website wasn 't working. I rang at 10 a.m. The call was taken by a rather unprofessional individual who simply said Hello? It sounded as if I 'd woken him up! When we arrived at the restaurant we were shown to our table but no attempt was made to pull out my wife 's chair for her, so I did it whilst the waiter looked on. The table was sticky, indicative of not having been cleaned properly. Later in the evening we saw first hand that by way of cleaning, the tables were simply scraped with a crumb scraper rather than being disinfected. Cutlery was placed directly on the table nonetheless. We were handed very grubby menus. My wife 's was annotated in pen. We suspect it was for staff use. We ordered drinks immediately so that we could have a drink whilst we read the menus and made our choices. They did not arrive until the starters arrived more on the starters anon . My wife ordered a Bombay Sapphire gin and Fevertree Mediterranean Tonic. The drink finally arrived with all the tonic already added so we never saw the bottle, it could have been anything, and in any event my wife would normally only use half the tonic to avoid making the drink too diluted. For starters we ordered popadoms for one and some onion bhaji bites to share between us. We stipulated that we wanted them served at the same time for that purpose. 60 seconds later the waiter reappeared with the popadoms entreating us to be careful as the bowl was hot. I suggested that the bowl would be much cooler by the time the bhajis were ready and asked that he take them away and serve fresh popadoms with the bhajis as originally requested. The starters finally arrived together. The dips for the popadoms were very thin. Of the 3 bhaji bites 2 were undercooked and the third so undercooked as to be almost raw inside. I couldn 't eat it and asked for it to be taken away. The waiter returned to say that the chef had apologised so that 's alright then! . I suggested that a more meaningful gesture would be for us not be charged for the bhajis and indeed we were not. For her main course, my wife had the Goan Prawns. Whilst tasty, they were served in a vast sea of sauce which necessitated a trawl of the bowl to get the prawns out. I had Chicken Tikka Madras. Again, very tasty but to my mind the chicken had had only a brief relationship with the appropriate marinade and an even briefer flirtation with a tandoor. Nonetheless this variant attracted an additional charge. Throughout the meal there were no signs of attentiveness from the staff. Unused and empty glasses were not taken away without prompting and apart from the usual irritating is everything ok? , waiters and front of house staff walked by without ever casting a glance at our table to see if there was anything they could do to help. Finally, throughout the evening the waiter and the manager would refer to us as you guys . After this happened for the umpteenth time I collared the manager and told him that referring to diners in this manner might be appropriate in MacDonalds, but we didn 't care for it in a Bib Gourmand restaurant with high end pretensions. Quite incredibly, the manager had no idea what that accreditation meant, nor that the restaurant he was working in had one! Taken in isolation, you might think that our grumbles were minor. However, taken together in an establishment that used to pride itself in not being just another curry house, they are disappointing to say the least. On previous visits we have commented on the fact that asian people obviously rated the place and attended in numbers. Not so this time, there were only 16 diners in the restaurant at its peak which is not impressive on a Friday night. When we pay £75 for one and a half starters, two main courses and a couple of drinks each, we expect better."

"The food at this restaurant was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the lamb biryani and the dal makhani. The tamarind sauce served with the papadums was amazing. My friend tried the railway lamb dish and also loved it. The restaurant was packed on a Saturday night, but the service was still great. They even made a mild vegetarian curry for my wife, who really enjoyed it. Overall, a wonderful dining experience."

"this is a fairly new restaurant that had to fill large shoes. sabor the previous restaurant was delicious and lively. I don't want to be part of the unoing of this restaurant, but it has to go better. the service, although friendly, was disappointing. the gentleman who served us did not seem to know the menu. eating was bland and overall this was not a good culinary experience. there is no joy to write about it, but if diners participate with their hard earned money, they should know."

"I had expected we to go to an old lesekneipe and that's it, but with Indian eating joy! the team was welcoming and happy that we bring our 2 year old to enjoy the evening with us. they can enjoy the basic Indian recipes or heat them with extra spices if they wish. refreshing to replace the same of the kobra bier sand kingfisher replaced by doombar extra cold and other alternatives. the restaurant page occupied by 7, we arrived shortly. the pub side had jägers who enjoy drinks. it works well. our server was a beautiful lady who took time to meet us and our daughters. we look forward to coming back soon."

"It 's fun maybe for like 20 minutes, after that it becomes overwhelming. So- The Cuban looks like it had a pretty great atmosphere from the entrance, which is why I decided to come in here. Problem is that you have to pay a £10 entry fee, so you basically should stay for at least 45 minutes to make it worthwhile. They also require your ID for proof of age, so bare that in mind if you look young. As for being inside the nightclub: It 's loud- VERY loud. When I was ordering a diet coke I had to shout so I could be heard. I understand it 's like a party, but the music doesn 't need to be *that* loud, surely. My biggest concern with this nightclub was the fact that it looked like a covid breeding ground on the dance floor. Even though I 'm fully vaccinated, I still didn 't feel comfortable with people being up in my face. Personal space is still a thing as well! If you want to have a fun night out without the worry of heavy covid spreaders, and being able to actually hear yourself think, then I would recommend just looking at other midnight pubs instead. Had to give this place a try though. I just think if the staff could enforce a limited capacity and turn the music down, then I would rate this nightclub higher. Thank you for reading."

"The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere but it is one of the worst currys I have ever had. The lamb curry was on tiny bits of bone that were floating n the dish. Each piece that I pulled out was covered in fat! Finding the meat between bone and the fat yuk!.. I mentioned to the waiter that is wasn 't very nice and they should say on the menu that the lamb is on the bone. They just said 'yes I keep telling them that ' but no suggestions of refund or replacement. Considering how very expensive is, very unsatisfactory!!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50 Food: 2 Atmosphere: 3"

"Essentially we were thrown out of the restaurant shortly after 11pm. The whole meal was rushed and the quality poor. We went to Shish and Mangal after a lengthy discussion about what to eat (as couples do). There were no customers in the restaurant. Upon arrival at 10pm we were told we had to order before 10:30pm because the kitchen closed at that time. This was not a problem as we were both starving. We ordered a beer, bottle of wine, two starters and two main meals. Everything came out in quick succession. It was a little faster than I would have liked between starter and main meals. Halfway through the main meal we were asked to pay so the staff could close the till. We paid to assist, but I was shocked we were asked at that point of the meal. I had to ask for the music to be put back on at one point, as we were sat in silence. At the end of our meal my partner told the waitress his main meal was not very good. She went to the kitchen and came back saying she agreed it wasn’t as good as it should have been. He asked for a refund and was told he couldn’t have one because they had closed the till! He was asked to call in the next day because the waitress didn’t actually work there, she was helping out as a favour?! We of course felt very uncomfortable about this and told the waitress we were not happy to leave without the refund. She told us she had a bus to get and family to get home to, so we needed to leave. There was nothing she could do. We argued our case politely and the waitress was screaming at us. I told the waitress she was very rude. She told us my partner should have complained at the start of his meal and not at the end. Frankly I was flabbergasted by the whole thing. I asked for details about the owner and again the waitress told me she didn’t have this information, except for a first name, because she was asked to help out as a favour but didn’t know who she was working for? The waitress put a cork in our wine and we left about £75 lighter. No refund and with a bad taste in our mouths. Had we been told we needed to be finished and out of the restaurant by a particular time, we would have ordered to take away and saved money having beer and wine at home. We paid a premium for the the experience of sitting in the restaurant and we were made to feel rushed and a problem for the staff. I will not eat here ever again and I am in no way surprised there were no other customers based on my experience. Save your money and eat elsewhere!"

"I used to enjoy this restaurant as a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city and considered myself a regular customer, but unfortunately that is no longer the case. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a woman who was extremely rude and condescending simply because I was a mother with a stroller. It seemed that she was at a managerial level. She was very aggressive in her tone and complained about previous incidents with mother and baby groups and their strollers taking up too much space. This all happened before she even checked our reservation. It turned out that my friend had mistakenly booked for the following day, but she made me feel like I had come on the wrong day and tried to manipulate the situation. When I politely mentioned that I felt her tone was rude, especially since I didn't make the booking, she became even more patronizing and dismissive. It was a shame because the restaurant was almost empty with plenty of space available. I met up with my mom friends outside and we decided to go somewhere else where we were greeted with kindness and given our own space. It's unfortunate that this encounter was so unnecessary, but I wanted to warn other mothers that this woman was not supportive of mothers, so think twice before making a reservation. A mother with a stroller is already dealing with a lot, and even if there is limited space, kindness should still be shown."

"We were fortunate to be able to sit inside the main restaurant while many others were sitting outside in the front of house area. The ambiance and noise level was just right as we wanted the chance to talk quietly over dinner. The service was excellent unobtrusive, thoughtful and professional. The food was good, but not as good as it has been on previous occasions in particular my fish was not cooked through which was a shame as it was such a nice piece. All in all an enjoyable evening but not quite up to the level that I have experienced before. 5* for service!"

"the first time when you eat here and hear good critiken, the two waitresses seemed to work as if they were new in the job and not the best service was given. had found a hair in the popadoms and complained, but she apologised and took the plate away. restaurant was empty and not much atmosphere, except for the popadums the rest of the eating was nice but nothing to scream."

"This is my happy place. It's easily my favourite lunch place in Edinburgh. Great if you're on a budget and great for bringing a friend or two as they cater for vegans vegetarians as well as meat-eaters. My go-to is the chicken masala wrap but I'm told the rest of their food is amazing as well. 10to10 is an integral part of my Fringe experience year on year"

"The focaccia, roast potatoes and truffle pasta were absolutely delicious. Amazing flavours. 10/10 and highly recommended! Very comfortable seats, and a glamourous and stylish venue. My only issue was the vegan main course option. The artichokes weren't cooked properly. Also there were no vegan desserts. However the waitress was lovely and she said they would do some vegan desserts next week."

"this is the time I visited the man and the experience this time was not so good. Unfortunately, the waiting staff seemed very unorganized and was not very attentive to the order. the cute, serviettes were not brought out at once, but they went back and forward. one of the party had the gnocchi and when the waiter asked if we wanted something else, i.e. sauces, etc., they demanded a parmesan cheese. the waiter returned to say that we could have parmesan, but it would be an additional fee! I have never visited all the times when I visited restaurants to pay extra for parmesan cheese. we then asked ourselves to talk to the manager who came over and said she had to talk to the cook when she was a temporary manager. I'm not sure what that had to do with a decision whether we had to pay for the parmesan. I pointed out that a member of the party had the fish chips, but at the time of order had demanded that they did not want the mushy or weeping sauce. we would not have expected the price to be reduced! the temporary manager then said she didn't want to argue about it, so would bring a part of the parmesan for no extra cost. I was a little envied, as there should not have been any argument at all, since a small grid parmesan should be free anyway, or the price involved in the cost of the meal!"
