"I recently had a late lunch at the Hope Street branch in Glasgow. The new seasonal tiger sub sandwich was served cold, and it seemed like the cook may have lost focus as the sausage inside was not cooked properly. I also ordered the kartoffel side dish, but it seemed like they were just raw potatoes heated up quickly. I had to ask for them to be cooked properly, but even after they were reheated multiple times, they were still soggy and raw. I would avoid this dish at all costs."

"I stopped by Subway for lunch before a trip and decided to dine in. My go-to is usually the toasted Veggie Delite, and this time was no different. The salad choices were excellent, all fresh and healthy with generous portions. The restaurant was very clean with spotless floors and tidy tables, and the bin was conveniently located by the door. There were two larger tables and one smaller table for two people, as well as a highchair available for families with young children. The staff was polite and friendly. I would definitely revisit this location."

"Nice store, MOSTLY great staff. Almost hated this place thanks to one person who couldn't be bothered to prepare meatless meatballs for me. Must have refused to make them about four times before I'd had enough and complained to the Subway chain directly. Thankfully they quickly corrected this member of staff's behaviour and I'm hoping next time I run into the person I complained about, he will do his job and make subs ordered by the customer. Much love to the young lad Josh and the young lady who's name I'm not sure of very friendly and helpful members of staff. These two people are the reason I feel I have to give a five star rating :P Thanks for looking after me : Soph x"

"Every time we go to this Subway, they always mess up our order. I just stopped by because it was convenient on my way home. The server greeted us and when I asked for wheat bread, she gave me a different kind of bread. She insisted it was still wheat bread. The salads did not look very fresh. Some customers were not wearing masks, even though they were workers, but they were still allowed to be served. When I tried to redeem my loyalty points, the server pretended to scan my card but the points were not deducted from my order. I mentioned that only my loyalty points should be used to redeem a free sub, and suddenly she was able to make it work. The second part of my order was not redeemed with points, but as an NHS worker, I showed her my Blue Light card and NHS badge. However, she did not apply the emergency worker discount. The last time I visited during Christmas, they also did not honor the discount. Additionally, they tried to give us small bags to hold our subs, which were too small to fit everything inside."

"I had a tight schedule for lunch when meeting someone, so we decided to give Zaika a try. The ambiance was more like a cafe than a restaurant, lacking candlelight or hot towels, but that wasn't a priority for us. The service was quick and friendly, just as we had hoped. The food was absolutely delicious. I can't comment on my partner's lamb madras, but she certainly liked it, and my king prawn bhuna was fantastic. I have a feeling we will return in the future."

"So we visited while waiting for my daughters car to be repaired. I ordered my usual Steak Wrap. at 11:50hrs, they did not have any wraps. so ordered a salad, with steak. All loaded into the bowl, and asked for barbecue sauce on it. The server picked up the sauce bottle, and appeared miles away as my daughter was trying to tell him it was leaking out of the nozzle, so the cheese, tomatoes and cucumber all got a liberal dosing of barbecue sauce, it also went all over the outside of the salad bowl lid. not enough left to go where it was supposed to, on my food. So, we went to pay, by this time as we were the only people in the queue, the guy on the till disappeared, leaving our server to cope on his own. No milk for the coffee, he had to go and find some, then there were no knives and forks, another foray into stores to find some. We eventually had everything we needed and went to sit down. Our server who had taken our money then returned to serve food, when the queue got near the door another two servers appeared. Seating area had food on the floor, the chairs had spillages on them, those that had been wiped looked like they had used a dirty cloth. The soft tub chairs were worn and split with holes in the seats. So, unless you have all day because the service is diabolical, and have had all your jabs steer clear."

"We went into this town centre pub purely on spec as we needed somewhere to eat quickly and near Piece Hall. We were treated like royalty we were the only diners and we had total attention from the chef /owner. We had a lovely generous sized prawn cocktail followed by scampi and chips with salad. The chips were proper home cooked. We had an absolutely lovely time there with friendly people and really good food. Give it a try if you're in Halifax ! Highly recommended"
