"Absolutely disaster! Got there table was ready, then asked for menu's to be told no we couldn't have food, although they was advertising food, As we booked with open table not the club itself. After complaining, they allowed us to have food, which was very nice, we all enjoyed. My friend went to the bar for conqtour they had put triple sec in the bottle so it's wasn't the real liquor. Which when complained they gave her a refund. We'd just ate our food, we was asked to leave the table as it was booked out for another party. With in the 2 hours we was there we'd roughly spent between us about £500. I asked for the manager, her Name was Nicola, I showed her the email, which it never stated I only had the table for a few hours, she blamed open table, not putting in they email. She wasn't sorry at all, club was quite she didn't offer us any other tables, absolutely ruined my birthday, that's what we was out for, made us so un welcome towards the end, because we complained. Also the was no draught pumps working they was charging over £5 for a bottle lager, which was half pint. Said the wasn't having them fixed either. The club is absolute joke! I would never return there again. Management is waste time, need to go on customer service course, how to run a business. I'm a Manager in retail, run quite a few stores, if I had treated any customer like this, I would be looking for a new job, so unprofessional, o hope you take my comments on board. "We have just visited the pub for the comedy show. What a great night and apart from being in the marquee and slightly cold we had a great time! Staff were lovely and very welcoming and it was easy to get our drinks. We spoke to the hosts who had been there a year and had made some changes, which we had noticed, as we hadn’t visited for a few years. The show was a competition and one off 4 heats and we will be going to all of them! It’s was well run and all acts were very funny. We will be back on some of the other nights and a few music ones too."

"Found this place purely by chance on Trip Advisor when we were looking for a place for Breakfast. Me and my wife love cosy French cafe-type places and we were very hopeful of this place. And we were not disappointed. The interior was cosy, comfy and welcoming-perfect for a morning coffee and croissant. Speaking of the coffee and croissants, the bread was flaky and delicious and the coffee more than passed the test. I had the eggs and bacon and my wife had the salmon. Both very nice but the ambience of the cafe pushed it to greatness. Really happy with it, made you feel like live visited a quaint village in France, which certainly beats the reality of the bustling high street of Kings Heath. Will definitely visit again."

"After a lovely day, we just had the worst meal we've had in Liverpool. Avoid Rosa's Thai on Albert Dock. We went in because the menu looked good and the restaurant was obviously popular. It was packed. We soon found the two kitchen staff, and two waiting staff plus manager were catering for a full restaurant, a private party upstairs, and takeaway orders. This explains the terrible service but not the bad food or appalling attitudes. Steve's beef massaman had a nice sauce but inedibly tough meat and tough potatoes. Even the sliced onions were semi-crunchy rather than tender. My crispy chicken with garlic rice was edible despite being almost cold so we shared that. My roti was so greasy it stuck together in a solid mass in its paper sleeve. The couple on the next table were there when we arrived and had ordered. The table on their other side was filled just after ours. The table on their other side got their food before us. I could see ours sitting under the heat lamps waiting to be served with theirs, and it showed up soon after. The first couple's didn't. As we were eating, a waitress came and asked if they wanted the bill so they told her they wanted their food. She immediately spoke to the manager who did nothing. After another few minutes Steve spoke to the manager who not only did nothing, but walked way without answering him. They left without being served and without an apology. We told the manager how unhappy we were and she removed the beef massaman from our bill. She offered to refund the service charge but walked away without doing so. She did not apologise for anything, but spoke to us in the manner of a robot who was just too busy to turn on the empathy circuit, or indeed the customer service programme. I understand completely that she and the staff were overwhelmed. There's no excuse for making that the customers' problem, or for a classic slow-cooked Thai dish to taste as if it were hastily assembled from leftovers and not given long enough in the microwave. Even a minimal apology could have helped mollify everyone, but it wasn't on offer. So if you want a good meal in Liverpool there are lots of places. Unfortunately Rosa's Thai on Albert Dock is not one of them."

"Nice little restaurant for a casual dinner. Friendly staff and nice food. Food was tasty but not outstanding for its type. Falafel for example had a sauce drizzled over which was tasty but was not much of it. Hummus was nice but lacked a bit of zing. Good value I thought."

"The food at this restaurant was very good, although it was not as hot as I would have preferred. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow. It took half an hour before our order was taken, and then there was another long wait. The waiter had to come back to check what our order was, so it seemed like it may have been forgotten. We ended up going to the bar a few times to get our own drinks because there was no one around to take our order. When we finished our main meal, it didn't look like we would be ordering dessert anytime soon, so we decided to leave at that point. It was a shame because we had dined here before and the service was good. Perhaps this was just a night where the restaurant was understaffed. The positive side was that we had a 50% off voucher, so it was good value for the meal."

"We booked this restaurant through open table and was disappointed overall. The menu was not the same menu as shown through open table, it was extremely limited. However our party settled on the panko coated aubergine salad, the Cajun burger and the banyan currizza. The salad was enjoyable, the burgers Cajun coating was soggy and the currizza, which came with one of the curries of the day on top of a naan bread and melted mozzarella was cold. We notified one of two members of staff at front of house and this was dealt with straight away and very professionally. The rest of the party had finished eating by the time my dish was returned but it was kindly removed from the bill at the end. For this I would probably return, although it's more of a brunch time place, don't be swayed by the online menu."

"We have been coming here for years but our recent experience was terrible. Service was appalling, they were not busy in the restaurant but very busy with take aways. We arrived at 7pm and left at 8.35 having only had a starter platter in that time. We waited almost an hour for our main course to arrive and then gave up and left. They still presented the full bill to us despite our dissatisfaction and when we complained they took only £5 off it. Wine took ages to arrive as did starters, as did water. They also took 15 mins to tell us they were now out of house white wine. Didn’t offer an alternative for the same price. The management here is clearly an issue, they also need to decide in the kitchen where their priorities lie. Diners or take away! We will not be going back anytime soon as we left hungry and went to another restaurant nearby. I hope you take this review seriously and take actions to ensure no one else has to sit though a similar experience"

A good selection of tasty dishes that you wouldn't normally find on an Indian restaurant menu (although the usuals are there too), freshly cooked and good sized portions. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the food, recommending suitable dishes. My only criticism of the place is that it was quite noisy in there, so hearing the other end of the table was nigh on impossible but overall the atmosphere was good. "what a wonderful experience that has been removed from the water in leith is ostara an absolute joy. I was here for dinner and was thrilled with the whole experience that it was great to eat itself. I have to say, it's the first time I really appreciated the texture in a court, because everything was so well balanced. the menu is small, but I really believe that ostara is a perfect example for a place that is a small menu where everything is made perfect. everything on it is with such care and attention that they can be sure what they choose, it will be wonderful on eating the workers before the house wonderful. not even we felt hurried or harassed, nor felt neglected or ignored. the personal was friendly and attentive and made the evening feel relaxed and enjoyable I am so glad that this restaurant has found and will return to try their breakfast and lunch menu if I can!"

"Terrible service actually the worse I have experienced in a long time I was still eating my main and we got given the bill she then brought the card machine over 2 seconds later asking me to pay the bill all whilst still eating as the forgot my main so had to wait whilst everyone else was eating she then put the cost in the machine £30 over then what the bill said I didn’t notice this until it was too late and we had paid finally the manager came over laughing and found it funny we had been over charged by £30 she arranged a refund but so rude and just a terrible attitude the stuff had won’t be returning"
