"Found this place purely by chance on Trip Advisor when we were looking for a place for Breakfast. Me and my wife love cosy French cafe-type places and we were very hopeful of this place. And we were not disappointed. The interior was cosy, comfy and welcoming-perfect for a morning coffee and croissant. Speaking of the coffee and croissants, the bread was flaky and delicious and the coffee more than passed the test. I had the eggs and bacon and my wife had the salmon. Both very nice but the ambience of the cafe pushed it to greatness. Really happy with it, made you feel like live visited a quaint village in France, which certainly beats the reality of the bustling high street of Kings Heath. Will definitely visit again."

If you are a lover of great Coffee and Pastries this is heaven. it make by far the best Coffee in Kings Heath putting all the other high street cafes’ baristas to shame. It’s also great value for money. The ambiance is classic French. Trully a little treasure and well worth a visit.

Perfect hidden gem off the high street, and definitely worth a visit! Recommended to us by some family in the area we thought we would give it a go and were not disappointed. I enjoyed every mouthful of my Croque Monsieur which was simply beautiful; others at the table had omelettes and sandwiches and there was only clear plates to be seen. I will be seeking out this great cafe again!

The food here is very good and I have been here in the past. Again I visited today and the food was very nice. The visit was unfortunately spoiled by two very boisterous children who screamed, shouted, rolled around the floor, banged toys, cried and everything else in between. Their carer looked on and did nothing. It’s not the kids fault. But if you want to sit and peruse your latte and go on your phone for two hours then perhaps you could go to a place that’s designed to accommodate children for a long time.

I recently visited this busy deli-with-seating for lunch. There are options of platters, salads, sandwiches, daily specials and more. I went for the fish platter £8.20) which arrived on a fish shaped plate and consisted of portions of smoked salmon, smoked trout, smoked mackerel, marinated anchovies and tiger prawns accompanied by a small bowl of olives and gherkins and a basket of toasted slices of home made bread. It was excellent and very good value. The coffee was also very good. The staff are friendly and efficient so, all in all, a great lunch. If you can get a seat, well worth a try.
