"Ordered a large chicken tikka kebab with sauce separate at an extra cost from here and large chips and cheese got home to realise that there was no sauce and the chips were cold… I called to complain and he was so unhelpful and had a disagreement about it then eventually offered to give me my sauce which I paid for after speaking for ages in there own language but said I would need to come along for it and I said by the time I come all the way back along for the sauce my food will all be freezing and I want fresh chips they refused until I asked to speak to manager then he said bring all food back and we will replace it all so I did… I go all the way back along to get my fresh order and to return my food and explained that I was pregnant and can’t have the chicken reheated for them to then give me a donner wrap instead and reheated chips I got all the way home again to realise this and had to go all the way back for my refund! I wasted fuel there and back there and back again and they just looked at us and said it was another mistake shocking customer service and a ridiculous way to treat a pregnant woman"

"This evening some friends and I ordered from Balti Spice from just eat and waited half an hour past the estimated delivery time to contact them. After ringing them them assured they delivered it to us (even though they didn't) and if we had wanted to take it further we should contact just eat. Just eat said they could do nothing until the restaurant autherised a refund of which they refused. Long story short we've been charged for a takeaway we never received and both Balti Spice and just eat refuse to admit they were in the wrong. If I were you I wouldn't take the risk and order from Balti Spice. I'd order from one of the many other Indian takeaways available in the area of which I'm sure you'd receive much better service from. It's extremely dissapointing after ringing Balti Spice twice and ringing just eat. What a waste of time and money"

"This place is under new management since I was last there. I'll definitely be going more often. Had the chicken vindaloo tonight. It was really good. The spicing was spot on- hot, but you can still taste all the different flavours. The rest of the menu looks really interesting, can't wait to try more dishes."

"They also have great offers; it's impressive how they provide such high-quality food at such reasonable prices! We paid about £10 for what we had: poppadoms, a starter, a main course, and a side. We were so full after our meal that we didn't have room for dessert or coffee, but even if we did, I don't think we would have spent more than £15 per person! Better yet, in true Balti house tradition, they allow you to bring your own alcohol, so there's no need to overspend on drinks either! I definitely missed out by not trying this place sooner. I used to think my options were either a) go to a fancy restaurant for good food and pay top dollar for both food and drinks or b) go to a Balti house, where the quality is hit or miss, so I just never bothered, even though it would save me money. Now I've found the best of both worlds: a great restaurant, top-notch food, low prices, and the ability to bring my own alcohol! Is it any wonder that I've been back four times in the last two weeks? Keep up the great work!"

"Last Saturday night, on June 25th, 2022, I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I strongly advise against ordering from this establishment. My friend and I ordered takeout and both ended up extremely ill, spending the past 4 days and nights suffering from painful stomach cramps on the toilet. We are awaiting the results from doctors to confirm if it was indeed food poisoning. Order from this place at your own risk."

"Ordered 3 box meals with keema naan chicken tikka chips ect .. 1 tiny piece of chicken in each and no keema meat in the naans .. phoned them and spoke to manager apparently which was very rude and very sarcastic saying what do I want for £9 each box “ full of chicken breasts” . "I went to the restaurant and ordered a meal deal along with some additional items. Unfortunately, they were out of stock of the items I wanted. This should have been a red flag for me as the problems continued throughout the meal. The starter was overcooked and dry, the chips were overcooked, and the naan bread was burnt. Both the Peshawari and garlic naan were tasteless and had a powdery, salty texture. My dining companions and I were very disappointed and found the whole experience disgusting. I would not recommend Flame Tandoori to anyone. It was a long time since I had such a bad dining experience."

"we just finished our meal (we had a lie because the portions were generous! and it was incredible! as it is a bank holiday, delivery was fast and contactless, as desired. my man called when I'm free of milk and they were so helpful by being over the ones of my favourite dishes free of milk and finding close alternatives for others. it was without doubt the most tasty and softest beautiful lamb I've ever eaten. would definitely recommend and we will order again. "The COVID compliance was shocking. We did not see staff sanitising tables in between customers. Although staff were wearing masks. We ordered 2 Long Island ice teas. There were certainly lacking the alcohol and were very sweet. When raised this with the waiter we were told he had put 50ml of the spirits and next time it will be better. It was obvious that these were not made correctly! We ordered the mixed grill- the sheek kebabs were awful! They were cold and hard, so we raised this with the manager and he apologised and replaced them. The new plate came and this time the kebabs were warm however still hard and chewy. They were not freshly made! We sent these back and the manager spoke to the chef and confirmed it was an error On their part. The wings, tikka and chops were very nice. We decided not to order mains. Staff were great, the manager gave a discount due to the issues raised however would have preferred decent cocktails and food I would not recommend this place as cocktails are watered down and the food is mediocre."

"I ordered a big meal for my family and myself, as we had never tried this restaurant before. When the food arrived, it was not very hot and we had to warm up some dishes. I ordered a king prawn bhuna and found it to be extremely bland - it tasted like prawns in plain water. My husband ordered a king prawn curry and had a similar experience. The onion bhajis had a weird texture and taste, and overall we were quite disappointed. While the food was edible, the lack of flavor means we won't be ordering from this restaurant again."

"Ordered two fish and chips by phone. One for me, one for my brother...OH MY GOD! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. "Oh my goodness! I don't even know where to begin with this place.. without a doubt, Bangla Kitchen has the worst takeaway food I have ever had and the customer service we experienced this evening was so terrible, it almost seemed like a joke. First of all, the food was so greasy that it was literally dripping out of the foil wraps. Secondly, when we checked our order, we realized that it was incorrect and parts of it were missing. And the parts that were correct were just awful - the meat was dry, there was a butter wrapper left inside the naan bread, and the tikka masala tasted completely different than usual, almost like something from a jar. When we contacted the restaurant to complain, we were met with a yelling, angry man on the phone who offered no apology and continued to shout at us. I was speechless. In conclusion, if you're looking for delicious Indian food with great customer service, definitely steer clear of Bangla Kitchen. I will never order from there again and would advise others to do the same."

"I ordered food from this restaurant and I have to say it was one of the worst meals I've ever had. I'm not sure if it's meant to be Indian or a fish and chip shop, but they are terrible at both! The chips were black, burnt, and hard - it seemed like they were leftover from the day before and refried. The naan bread was equally terrible, more like a giant pita bread - hard and almost stale. The chicken kebab I ordered for £8 consisted of a small amount of dried out chicken and a few burnt chips on top. The pakora tasted similar to ones I buy from Aldi. Despite their good feedback on Just Eat, I was very disappointed and ended up making myself a toastie instead. On a positive note, the salad was nice and the chili sauce was good. The staff were friendly and provided great customer service, but unfortunately, the food was a letdown. I will not be returning."
