"After been given great reviews on the Corner Vafe Falkirk, I decided to pay it a visit today Wed Oct..18th late afternoon , I went to place my order at the counter and I was asked if I was sitting ing in or taking away. I said that I was having brunch knew That I was having avacado toast and poached eggs, the first girl took my order I also had a glass of water, I had to ask the chap front of house if my brunch was ready this was after a 20 min wait more time passed maybe approached me to inform me that the situatioregaurding my brunch. When eventualy my meal came, which I paid by card , I told the two members of waiting staff that the brunch was fresh and tasty, but the service was far to slow ...."

"My family took me here for mothers day breakfast. Such a beautiful, cosy country pub. We had a lovely table by the fire and the daffodils on the tables were a nice touch. The food was amazing and the service was brilliant. Coffees were really good and their tea is my favourite. Was a really lovely start to mothers day."

"I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. I tried the festive menu and enjoyed all the dishes. The server was kind enough to switch my calamari for buffalo wings when I had food envy. They also honored the 2 cocktails for £12 deal, even though it was a weekday offer. The restaurant took all necessary COVID precautions and practiced social distancing, which may have contributed to the quieter atmosphere than usual for this time of year. Typically, there would be a more lively party atmosphere."

"Was lovely, food was delicious. Service was a bit slow considering the place wasn't massively busy, just a few other tables in. Food came and was beautiful, but slow on offering other drinks and clearing up. We asked to box scones up, the server started to clear away and then got caught in a meeting with manager we presume, so ended up leaving table and wrapping scones up ourselves. Only other thing I wasn't very happy with was that it was for my mum's birthday and had driven up to venue, prior to the afternoon tea to take balloons, which I had bought for venue and was told when got there, that they don't accept them in the cafe, but nowhere on the website or when booking does it say this, so spent money I didn't need to spend aand took a trip i didnt need to do, so was a bit annoyed, as not really given an explanation for it either."

"The ice creams at this restaurant are delicious, served in crispy waffles. The prices are similar to Eis Van, but the flavors are much tastier and there is a wide selection to choose from. We tried the ice cream, but the floats and sundaes looked amazing as well! They also serve great coffee."

"We had a good burgers from here after being disappointed by a few places recently. The burger was cooked good and the fries were nice as well. They did get the order a bit wrong but we noticed before leaving (was takeaway), so we got it fixed then. Would eat here again"

"Arrived for our booked table at 18:00, greeted 5 minutes later by someone who looked disinterested took us to a table with crumbs on it and a half eaten corn on the floor by my chair (lovely). Ordered chicken skewers (finally) at 18:20, food came around 30 minutes later and the chicken was over cooked and the peepers were black. Asked for the bill at 19:15, server delivered deserts after 10 minutes to opposite table and I finally was presented with my bill at 19:30, he had asked if it was cash or card prior to getting the bill so assumed he would bring this with the card machine, however he didn’t he then went off and did something else then appeared with the card reader but went and took the order of the table behind us then asked if I minded waiting until he processed their order in the till, I said no I have somewhere to be, he then said he had to put the order in before he could take my payment I asked he hurried up as I needed to leave, he appeared eventually at 19:42 put the card reader on the table and said nothing, (he was pleasant up until this point) I taped to pay and left! 1 hour 45 minutes for burnt chicken and a bill is unacceptable, will not be visiting here again! It’s not like it’s cheap either I expected better and wished I read some more recent reviews on here before I booked!"

"I ate here for the first time for Sunday lunch I have to say, my meal was really lovely (sea bream with couscous). It's quite pricey but if it's really tasty, then I don't mind. We used to come here for drinks regularly on a Monday night to be entirely honest, we had very poor experience from quite a number of the staff, pretty rude bored, unfriendly attitude.....not all, there were two young ladies 1 young man, who were very good we told them so, because it was such a refreshing change. However, I have to say, the staff on Sunday were really nice friendly attentive (as it should be)..... hopefully this shows a general improvement that may well be reflected on Monday nights now (we don't ever go on a Monday night now though, as we switched venues). So, note to management, keep good service up there as a priority. Your food is really good but without great service, customers don't feel so inclined to come back... keep up the good work"

"There were two of us for dinner. We ordered a main and a starter as the two mains, and had specified this to the waiter. Then the starter came 10 minutes later by itself. I told the waiter and he went off to check and didn’t come back. I then had to resay it to the waiter who just went silent as they didn’t know what to do. I asked them to take it back and bring it with the main course I ordered as part of the overall meal. The starter was cold when it came with the main; I had expected a new starter would be done given the issue. The bill had then overcharged for an item. I won’t be revisiting this restaurant given the service was very poor from the three different 3 I dealt with"

"So I'm on a mission to lose some weight and get healthy, my daughter was adamant she wanted to come here for dessert. We heard it was under new management, so we were a little apprehensive. However, I enjoyed it before, but I used always get a waffle. We walked in, and the new owner was there to greet us. He told me straight away there weren't any waffles available, and to have some would be a half-hour wait. The waffles were the reason we went. I almost walked out of there, but my daughter wanted the ice cream instead. So we were a group of My children made their order and enjoyed it; the youngest one went for that blue ice cream. She enjoyed it but wasn't a fan of bits that were in it. The other three enjoyed their desserts. I thought I'd get a sundae; call it a proper cheat day (I have a lot of them). I got the chocolate sundae, and for once in my life, it was perfect. Not too sweet I felt sick, but just right so I could enjoy it and finish it off. Great value for money, and the customer service was flawless. I told my daughters to go make their orders, but the older were being shy, so when I was sitting on the table asking one of them what they wanted, I repeated it loud enough the owner got the gist of what I was doing, and was in the ball. Really nice desserts, couldn't recommend it enough. Will be back maybe even tomorrow for a waffle. Just gotta watch those calories. Lol."

"We were really very disappointed, one meal didn't turn up , one meal was burnt and the other 2 meals were cold. The staff did take money off our bill, but it ruined what was supposed to be a nice family evening, The restaurant also had a lot of loud drunk customers which I found intimidating especially with having my children with me, and it was only early afternoon we booked our table. Definitely will not be returning, which is a shame as we have always enjoyed past visits at the restaurant. Annette"

"We booked a table 24 hours in advance for 4 people at 1pm on Saturday. When we arrived (at 1pm) we were told there were no tables available and we would have to wait. When I said I had a reservation they said oh, it 's because another show just finished . It 's quite clear that making a reservation at this place makes no difference. Eventually (50 minutes later) we got a table. The service was slow, but the food was good when it eventually arrived. Standing around with 2 children, one of them with learning difficulties for almost an hour was not pleasant. They knocked £10 off the bill, but to be honest I would have expected more. Would not recommend this restaurant and I will definitely not be going back again. The Cafe within the Lego Discovery building next door was far better and I wish we would have stayed in there."

"I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. I went on a Friday evening and was surprised to see only one group of people there, as I had read reviews mentioning long waits. It was great to see the staff socializing and creating a welcoming atmosphere. It was my first time at this restaurant, so it took me a while to decide what to order. The workers were understanding and polite. The halal burgers were delicious, with the glazed beef bacon being a standout. Make sure to reserve a table if you plan on visiting on a Friday, as it gets busy. And don't forget to bring your business cards, as you can exchange them for a free portion of wings!"
