"we went to my birthday lunch, my sisters, and I went all to order their amazing plate of tweeper rings, bbq wing, grilled mushrooms with cheese, garlic brot. ok it's a lot! then the steaks with beautiful kartoffels with garlic layers with cheese upstairs I had thought this mac and cheese) and a mushroom sauce! the drinks were ok would not say amazing except the skyberry soda was nice would not go for the earthy or mango. in serious had no room for dessert, that was disappointing as it all saw amazing! then the service was good/very clean and spacious. was my first time that it would be happy to go back with my girls."

"I think this could very well possibly be the best burger in London and even better, it's all Halal! The Wagyu burger was absolutely incredible, I cannot stress this enough. My only issue is that it's actually quite pricey, the décor wasn't that great and we went when it wasn't busy and it still took ages. But, would I go again? Most certainly, the Wagyu burger was so so good and so were the other burgers we tried if I'm being honest, everything was very tasty!"

"I was ‘hired’ here a couple months back. The lack of documents i had to fill was my first insight into the sketchiness of this place. As someone who’s previously worked in an ice-cream parlour that holds itself to much higher standards, it was easy to spot the red flags from behind the counter. Firstly, the high prices for stingyly-made products. For all items that you can get toppings on, we were told to count them and would get in trouble for giving a customer more than the allocated number. Four Ferrero rochers on a massive £10+ Ferrero rocher waffle was a sad sight. Limited chocolate drizzle. This is just one of plenty of examples. Second was the cleanliness. No gloves, no hair nets nor hats. No wonder people keep finding hair in their food. Third and most frustrating to me was the management. They take bad management to another level. Condescending, unhelpful, unresponsive is how i would describe in in 3 words. None of my questions were answered, i was treated like a child and I wasn’t even told that I wouldn’t be getting shifts for the quiet period, they left my queries on this unanswered for days at a time during a time when I desperately needed to work just to be able to eat. I haven’t been contacted back in over two months so i assume i have been fired? Not that they ever gave me a reason as to why. All i know is that a coworker once told me ‘sometimes if they don’t like a person they’ll just stop giving them shifts without saying anything’. I don’t recommend coming here, honestly you can make everything they do here just as easily at home, or go somewhere that doesn’t treat it’s new staff members so poorly. That being said I also don’t recommend working here. It was the biggest waste of my time when i could have been looking for other jobs they strung me along for no reason. Also the lady who was supposed to be training me spent the whole 4 hours on tiktok. Genuinely what."

"Went here for a late Sunday brunch after checking the reviews Edinburgh Larder didn't disappoint! I ordered the roasted red pepper and basil soup of the day with half a balsamic aubergine and broad bean pate sandwich. The staff were very accommodating making my half sandwich with gluten free bread. My SO ordered the honey leg ham, gherkin and wholegrain mustard sandwich which came with a beautifully dressed side salad. Sandwiches took a little while coming out but were worth the wait. The entire meal felt wholesome and nutritious, and knowing they source all of their produce locally makes it even better. Proper soul food."

"seems leon always bursts with delicious vegan options and comes constantly with new menu items. I am so sad that they got rid of the delicious but funny named jack bites, but there are still many delicious items that are selected on the menu. the black bean hotbox is in order, but since the part does not seem to fill, they might want to order a page. burger options are great. the vegan frezy loaded waffelfries are definitely a delicious tasty bite! all london stand places where I have eaten are quite consistent. never had any misunderstandings here and the quality is noisy. solid 3.5"

"I've not been to Burger King or McDonalds for 10yrs+, and won't be going again. I remember them having way better burgers than McDonalds, but this one was rubbish just grey, tasteless meat tasted more like the boiled sole of a welly. "Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant was empty so I can't comment on the atmosphere. The staff were very nice and friendly. We ordered a fry-up which was okay. My 11-year-old daughter ordered the small ribs for £8 as part of a weekday special. Unfortunately, she was disappointed as she only received 4 mini ribs that were mostly fat, so I had to cook her dinner when we got home. The desserts were small for the price we paid. Our bill ended up being quite expensive for what we received. It's a shame because the restaurant seems like a nice pub."

"Visited the Spyglass for my birthday meal. Our server, Terry, was just the right person for the job. Very friendly willing to have a joke and very pleasant. We arrived at 18.00 and all was well, then at 18.30 a party of 16 arrived and from then on service was slowed dramatically. Terry was also had a lot of tables of 4 or 6 to serve. He did his very best but he was obviously slowed by this big party, so our meal took longer than it should have. He was very proffessional and just dealt with everyone methodically and calmly. Full marks to him for a great job."

"Since moving to Birchington Sue and Paul had always made my mum and dad feel so welcome in the wine bar. So when it came to planning my dads wake it was the only place that I knew was right. Sue made everything so easy to prepare for and encouraged us to use the space upstairs how we felt was right to remember my dad. Buffet was amazing as was the bar service…nothing was too much trouble. Everyone stayed for a good few hours because of the venue; it helped us to celebrate and remember. "we had unexpected guests coming to see us and thought it an ideal opportunity to an try an Italian restraurant that we had seen in Olney. "I have eaten here on two previous occasions where it was very busy but the food was worth it. On this occasion I pre-booked a table for 4pm on a Sunday to ensure we had a table for my husband's birthday as we'd travelled from the East Midlands. On arrival there was a table reserved for us clearly stating 4pm and as we were early we ordered a drink. After deciding what to eat we were advised that the kitchen was not open until 5pm! As we had a 2 hour journey home we could not wait until then and had to leave extremely disappointed. At no point was it highlighted either on the OpenTable or FFC website that food would not be served until after 5pm. We had travelled specifically for a birthday treat which ended up ruining what was a great day. Please ensure if a restaurant is not open at the requested booking time slot it is clearly indicated that food will not be served."
