"I thought I'd wait until I'd been here 2 or 3 times before giving Creams a review. I first went during the summer, it had just opened, and being the ice"

"bubble in which it looks like I'm supporting suicide. I don't even know the man and I can't believe I helped this ice cream man make money by buying ice cream from him. He defamed me for no reason. I like to warn people so that he doesn't defame others."

"Lovely cosy restaurant that has seemed to slip under the radar under the shadow of surrounding pubs. Unfortunately so! Unlike some of the other pubs on upper st, we were welcomed in and seated immediately and presented with a menu generous with options. I could describe the meal as a really tasty home cooked roast dinner, with an edge of fancy. But doesn't sacrifice quantity for quality! Really delicious roast pork, accompanied by a £1.50 **** Mary! Great to see a veg friendly roast option. The panna cotta for dessert was silky and delicious. Great bustling atmosphere without being too noisy or busy to be served."

"Made a visit to The Angel after establishing that it was once again a restaurant post Covid. The reservation system is a little outdated as there's no contact number and communication is only by email. On this visit the food was very good but not outstanding. It would have been a pleasant experience but for the atmosphere inside the place, deathly quiet. What service we received was fine, quite friendly when in operation but attracting attention was a challenge. Our orders taken, our food delivered but no casual visit to ask if things were ok or to see if we needed anything. This isn't helped by the fact that diners are seated in different rooms within the building but bearing this in mind perhaps the staff should make an effort to move around restaurant to check in with diners more frequently. Overall the experience was pleasant, the food good, the deserts superb, however for the price we paid I would choose a more relaxing and warm dining experience, available at other high quality restaurants in the area, in favour of The Angel."

"This restaurant is located in a charming historic building. The food quality is top-notch, but may not appeal to picky eaters. If you're looking for simple dishes like burgers and fries, this may not be the place for you. The portions are on the smaller side, but the taste is exceptional and the presentation is beautiful. The service is attentive without being overbearing. While it may be a bit on the expensive side, it is definitely worth a visit. I would recommend it."

"would not recommend. two of us went to try this restaurant as I have a member 's card and give me 50% off the food bill. The food was really really low quality... it 's not as good as my local take away. and the service? well, we 've been asked twice how was the food and we been asked twice would you like some dissert? and we 've been asked twice to present the member 's card and check that we are eligible for the discount. one starter, two main courses, two tea, after the 50% discount on food, the bill come to 36pound!!! Not happy at all. The place 's ambience is good, if you like a quiet place for conversation. It 's linked with Ken 's and they have a secret garden with deck chairs. which looks interesting. There are much better places around and I would not go back, even with 50% off the food bill."

"I appreciate the restaurant offering vegan options, which is great. However, I found it a bit frustrating to order because it was easy to confuse the vegan and non-vegan options. Personally, I don't enjoy having to repeatedly specify that I want the vegan waffle, vegan ice cream, etc. I also couldn't find a separate vegan menu as advertised. Despite these issues, the food was deliciously unhealthy, just what I wanted, although it did give me a sugar headache right away."

"There is ample indoor and outdoor seating available at this restaurant situated at Chatham dockside, offering a delightful view of the docks. I opted for a milkshake made with soya milk and chocolate sorbet, which was delicious and not too sugary. I would have liked it to be slightly thicker and made with vegan ice cream. I am looking forward to trying one of the desserts from their new vegan menu on my next visit."

"I have visited Herschel Weapons 4-5 times, and I can confidently say that it is the friendliest place I have ever been to. This quirky pub is equally welcoming to locals and visitors, making it a popular spot for those away from home. I enjoy the decor of the walls adorned with pictures of the past and present patrons of the pub. A visit to the restroom is a treat with its old paper cuts and comics. However, the highlight of the pub is undoubtedly the bartender. Their service is fantastic and they serve the best pint of Guinness I have ever had. Kudos to Tom and his team. We will definitely be returning soon."

"During Covid, many establishments now order via app, and in the main thus works well. The Navigators app was poor. But even worse is that once ordered the drinks took minutes in the first instance, and we go a refund after minutes and left in the second instance of ordering a simple drinks round and it wasnât even that busy. They were critically understaffed which meant we were so cheesed off that we gave up. Such a shame. Both the boathouse and the jolly sailor nearby were far better experiences."

"I was in Reading to view an office building. It was a warm day so i popped in to the bearby Creams in Reading on my way to the car park. Ive visited many Creams in towns all over the South East and this one has the same expensive design and big store size. Sadly this one also had the rudest most surly inefficient staff ive ever come across. As an employer myself of some 40 plus staff I wonder how this business will survive with such staff. I wemt to order as per attached receipt) cookie dough...immediately the man behind the counter was ignoring me talking with his friend behind me....than arrogantly with no hello no eye contact he asked me for my order....I told him in clear concise terms triple treat cookie dough for table 8 eating in again no eye vontact it didnt seem to be registering and i was starting yo feel unease. I repeated and he took the money and i went to sit at table 8. 15 minutes went by and a lady shouted out from far away are you takeaway i said no eating in . Another 10 monutes later she stomped over and asked me again takeway i said ive already told you eating in. She asked me what i ordered i told her and this ignorant sour faced lady informed me id asked for a takeaway. In the background i could see behind her the same surly tall slim young man whod tajen my order so nonchalantly....i felt i was veing intimidated so i said to the lady i didnt order a takeaway youve made a mistaje and i dont appreciate your rude bolshy way. I left not wanting a scene In my 25 minute wait for nothing i noted there are more staff than customers . One of them had his bare arm in a machine to swirl water. I left without a refund as i wasnt offered one. Horrible experience horrid staff i wont be visiting creams in reading ever again."

"We frequently visit Branded with our family and friends, and we always have a positive experience. This time, we tried the Sunday roast menu and we absolutely loved it! The deconstructed prawn cocktail starter was delicious and definitely worth trying. My elderly Mother enjoyed her favorite tempura langoustine starter. We all ordered the roast lamb, which was served in generous portions and of excellent quality. I must also commend the friendly welcome and exceptional service we receive from the staff every time we visit. Sofiane, who served us this time, was outstanding - very considerate and attentive. When my Mother had a bit of trouble with a large portion, Sofiane quickly came to our aid to make sure she was okay. Highly recommend this restaurant!"
