"for a family celebration. eating was nice as it was always. we were removed in a room from other diners, which meant that we could speak as a large group among us without disturbing other smaller groups. many thanks to the cook and the management for their really thoughtful approach to nutrition needs zb gluten-free. it was a great choice, each court could be tweet, that was especially beautiful when it desserts. I never felt like I was limited in my choice and the alternatives I was given was very good."

Lovely place in Long Crendon who I can only say are very kind and was empathetic when we broke down outside of their establishment. Based on this alone, when they are back open to the public properly (they still take party bookings) I will gladly go there for a meal to review properly! But in the meantime, they certainly have my vote on service alone!

This is a pleasant place in a character building. The standard of food is high, but its not for the Fussy-Esser. There is very little easy cooking, so if there are burgers and chips that you are looking for do not disturb. Portions are also small. However, the taste is excellent and the presentation is beautiful. Service is good without being intrusive. It's not cheap, you could say on the pricy side. Overall it is worth a visit. Recommended.
