"The restaurant itself could use some updates. The carpet was old and stained, and there were food splatters on the walls. Additionally, I noticed a food hygiene rating of 4 prominently displayed on the main window, but the details on the back dated back to 2015. According to the food hygiene ratings app on my phone, they actually had a rating of 2. This is something most people wouldn't notice unless they had experience working with a local council. I genuinely hope they improve their food standards and renovate the restaurant to create a more inviting atmosphere."

"we have enjoyed a nice afternoon and would especially recommend the £13 children who was excellent. our daughter is 2.5 years old and had a wonderful time with banana sandwiches and a crisp buttie! she got a little goodie bag to do with the arrival with dingen and she also enjoyed the smell of tees. we were very comfortable that they were incredibly friendly and welcoming with us and the staff. our adult kitchen was also delicious and very good value for money, with a complementary pimms cocktail. compared to other hotels, I would say that this tee is better than others, more prestigious places."

"Chose to eat at The Clock for the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, with a friend. Staff masked, distancing friendly. Sea bass was a first class main dish. Chorizo sweetcorn croquettes were an interesting tasty starter, the fruity Summer pudding finished things off nicely. The maximum number of diners at any time where we were seated was obviously controlled, which was thoughtful impressive I witnessed some local restaurants that were cramming them in encouraging queuing. Feeling comfortable when eating out is important at the moment, and we certainly did so."

The food was outstanding, with each dish being incredibly delicious and complex. We opted for the tasting menu with wine pairing, which was a perfect complement to the meal. The service was impeccable, with the staff demonstrating a high level of expertise and coordination. Everyone was knowledgeable about the dishes we were served, making us feel like we were dining at a top-tier restaurant, especially one with a Michelin star. Thank you for providing us with such a special and delightful evening."

"It was a beautiful evening, as always. Nikki is the perfect host, and Ollie works wonders in the kitchen. The smoked salmon was exquisite, featuring thick slices of fish paired with a creamy sauce. The venison haunch was delicate and perfectly pink, complemented by a green peppercorn sauce that provided just the right amount of heat. The braised meat was tender, moist, and simply melted in my mouth—absolutely perfect."
