"Where do is start? Everything about this pub is amazing! The friendliest staff I have ever experienced, great atmosphere, great drinks and even better prices. This is honestly the place to go if you find yourself in Camden and want to find a nice pub. I come here regularly and go solo as most of my friends don’t drink, but every time I have went, I have met some amazing people and it’s now at the point where I go in and it’s impossible not to see someone I know. Prices £5.50 for a Heineken but that is a brilliant price for London. Most other pubs you go to will want £6 or more for the same drink. Great atmosphere, very welcoming and friendly people and part of the pub turns into a dance floor from 10pm to 3am on Friday and Saturdays. There is never a bad day to visit but I highly recommend Friday and Saturdays. You may see somewhere callled “Blues Kitchen” opposite with a long queue but it is overhyped and overpriced. This truly is your best bet for a great night in Camden. I highly recommend you come here. Mr Heineken"

"One of best Asian/Pakistani/Indian and more importantly halal food in Dublin!! Parking may be an issue during the day but out of hours easily available nearby!! "We had an 8pm reservation and arrived a couple of minutes beforehand. Despite being able to find the reservation in the system, there was no table for us until 8.20pm. In the meantime, another party with a later reservation came in and was seated. I appreciate that their party was larger and was therefore given the larger table that became available first, but still think it reflects poorly on the restaurant that they weren’t organised for a booking. The staff were polite and briefly apologetic but didn’t seem too bothered by their error. The food itself was good. We had tempura prawns to start, which came with a delicious dipping sauce. I then had a fillet steak for my main course. I ordered rare but what I received was more akin to medium rare and even medium in parts. Only the very middle was rare. This might be due to the ‘tall’ nature of the cut (see pictures). The medium rare ribeye was good. The sides were huge. We barely finished the truffle chips between us. The mac ‘n’ cheese was OK – I would have preferred it without the crumb topping as in my opinion it has no place in the dish. It was described on the menu as having this though, so I knew what I was getting myself into. The service was mostly good, though there was one member of the wait staff who seemed a bit out of their depth. They were very young and I think perhaps new. Luckily it was very quiet (I think we were the last table seated that evening, so by the time we were onto our mains, the place was dead) so this wasn’t much of a problem. There is just one toilet, an accessible bathroom and baby change combo. I was disappointed to see the emergency pull cord tied up out of reach, rendering the bathroom unsuitable for some disabled customers. The bathroom in general was not overly clean and in need of refurbishment. In my experience, the place is not deserving of the current 4.3 star Google or 4.5 star Trip Advisor ratings, but has potential if management can sort out the issues listed above. I would like to score 3.5 but as this is not possible, I am going to round down on this occasion."

"Having lived close by for 5 6 years I was a frequent visitor but it really isn't what it used to be. I've watched it change little by little whilst still frequently enjoying the overall experience. Went in earlier in the week and since my last visit I was pretty gutted to see there have been further changes. The chicken blasts which were always amazing covered in sauce are now smaller, in different coating, served dry with a small pot of sauce on the side whilst two halfs of a jalepeno rest on two quarters of corn on the cob. No more mad burritos with halloumi, fries and rice now you pick either rice or fries and no, 1/2 1/2 not allowed). Why fix something that was never broken? The queso fundito was good and I really enjoyed the popcorn octopus special but it's one compromise too far for me. For the last time we left with full tummies, regrets and empty hearts. :"

"Mmmmmmmm. We went here for my birthday a few years ago and it was delicious. Came back today and it was amazing as well, just soo tasty. The meat was juicy, and the pulled pork was tender and again soo juicy. The chips were also really nice, not too greasy. I would definitely recommend and I’m sure I will be back!"

"a relaxed atmosphere with friendly service. the pina colada, strawberry daiquiri and espresso martini were really good! huge size, tasteful drinks- impressive! jj tater zets were spicy, jalapeños and melted cheese. I barely shared it with someone because I enjoyed them so much. the pork replacement ribs were massive, it filled the whole plate and then some. they were super delicate and fall out of the bone. the sauce was tasty, not transferred. Finally, the Cajun chicken tacos beef chili tacos were satisfied. 3 tacos in each order plus rider and another side. the tacos were generously filled. this small place is super busy really fast, so they come earlier in the day or late in the night."

"really really bad experience with this place! I ordered a simple order of 4 items, it took 50 ,ins to arrival, fair enough,but then I had 1 item missing and another item which was completely wrong. so I call them up and explain and they...have no clue, so takes 10 ,ins to explain to 1st staff which he tries to tell me he is going to send me my correct order for free .... excuse me it's not free I already paid for it and didn't get it!!! then then I ask how long it will now take to get my new items ... he doesn't know has to speak to someone else about it... staff 2 comes on phone and again I have to explain myself again and then wait for him to pull up my order for him to check what I am saying is true..... so then I ask if as a gesture to a unhappy customer if they will refund me my 2 items I never got and now have to wait another 40 mins to get ..... while my other food is getting cold .... answer to my request for refund was ,, arh as you paid online we can't refund you, you already paid...... nothing we can do!!!!! kept trying to tell me that I am getting my money worth because hey we're sending out my food again.... the ones that was missing in first place... !! kept trying to offer me more other food for free... which I had to repeat my self over 10 times, I did not want other food, just the correct ones I ordered...! managed did not want to talk to to on phone,because he didn't want to give me any money back to correct their mistake and keep good customer service, which is something they REALLY do not have. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!! you run the risk of paying for food you get get to eat and wait almost 2 hrs....."

"we shared a big wing, they were the best we had in a long time. the Asian salmon and the classic burgers were very good. all left off the service, a table of 4, which came in well 10 minutes after us served before us and my head of Asian salmon came with the starter. "I recently visited the Swan for the first time since the management change. Although the drinks took a while to arrive, the serving staff were exceptionally polite. The starters, ranging from bruschetta to prawns, were really good. The mains were a mix of great pizzas and kids pasta, with average ribs and a risotto that was initially good until one guest found some grit in it. When we pointed this out to the chef, they insisted it was a peppercorn, which we knew it definitely was not. Despite this, we didn't make a big deal out of it as another family member was covering the bill, but personally, I believe the chef should have been more honest about the mistake. It's something they should reflect on for the future."

"This restaurant is a great place to visit. I would highly recommend it. I went there on Friday, March 18th, 2022 for lunch and received excellent table service. The drinks were delicious, the food was incredible, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The rolls were so delicious that I ended up ordering more. Everyone in my group was very satisfied. "Very nice meal out. The setting is beautiful and very modern. The service was also great. "Extremely loud and akin to a children’s playground. Music so loud that I could hear the person directly across the table. Service ok- very busy. "The First Impression is not always the last!!!!! we visited venue 5 for a birthday celebration, it is easy to locate and a fair decor. After being seated, i realized that the wine glass had a crack. Asked it to be changed, but the new glass never arrived. i reminded about 3 of servers to get a new one but no luck. finally one of them managed to conjure it but unfortunately it was dirty with wine stains on the bottom of the glass which was for me a big turn off. After a very bad first encounter, we only hoped we food better me good. We started with their Rasila-mango, chocolate freeze and couple mojito , which to my surprise was good. The mojito was served in a jar looking glass which was new and fun. We ordered about 6 starters including both Veg and non-veg. The portion size was good and not too much that you cant dare to eat mains after that. I specially like their garlic sauce prawns. For the mains we ordered V5 special lamb, which was nice and tender, chicken handi and of course prawns which i turned a fan off (P.s. i am a huge Prawns fan). The butter paaner was creamy and was not entirely made of tomatoes like some which i have eaten. My friends ordered Soya methi which i thought was weird combination but tasted good. The tandoori roti was soft and not like cold and hard you find in some of the restaurants. I was a bit disappointed with their chicken fried rice because the rest of the food tasted very good. Overall we had a good birthday celebration and all of us were very happy with the evening. Other than the incident with the glass which is the only reason i am marking it as great and not love it, its a good place to dine with your friends and family. Good portion size, good quality of food and acceptable pricing and good selection of cocktails and mocktails. Will sure to visit soon and hope the food taste the same or even better."
