"I had to borrow cantonese food. I ordered both takeaway and I was in the restaurant a few times and it was always good. after a short wait the deliveries always arrived and the food was of good quality. the service in restaurant is welcoming and attentive. they have a very large menu and cover different areas in asia, which makes it sometimes quite difficult to decide. eating is never disappointed and this is definitely one of the better Chinese restaurants in the environment."

"In general, I would advise against ordering Chinese food from Farewell to Bristol, as I’ve had many disappointing experiences with it being too fatty and salty. However, Aromas is fantastic! The food tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful, and I really enjoyed it. It arrived slightly earlier than the expected delivery time, which was a nice surprise, but I would have happily waited the full hour. I will definitely be ordering from them again!"

"Tasty thai food, the duck was very crispy and the Massaman curry delicious! The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Not a 5 star review because the service was average (when asked what a dish was made of, the waitress wasn't sure, and she didn't ask anyone else to clarify neither , also we had a table close to the toilet. When asking to swap table because the air conditioning was cold, we were told it wasn't possible, but they turned it off, which was much appreciated. In general, would recommend the place! :"

"Having never visited Portsmouth before we didn't know where to get dinner whilst visiting for my wife's work. Good ol' Trip Advisor drew this place to our attention, and boy are we glad it did! Service was friendly but attentive. Good knowledge of what was gluten free for my coeliac wife. All 4 dishes we had were outstanding. I particularly recommend the satay (perfectly cooked chicken) and the penang (such depth of flavour).. I doubt anything would disappoint to be honest. A casual but smart interior in a quirky building added to the ambience, and the prices were reasonable. Oh, and if you've got a bit of space at the end of your meal, try the triple chocolate martini you'll thank me! I'm just hoping we need to go back to Portsmouth again soon...."

"It was moderate at best , we had the waiter spill the tea on the cakes and excused himself to bring new ones which were never bought back. The attention to detail is cared for rather than the quality of food itself, it felt stale some sandwiches. The highlight was only the view. The rest can be described as mediocre at best. Too much show but quality wise a dissapointment."

"I’ve been coming here for 2 years, being a local and have always loved the food and service. Today was a poor experience. The wait staff wasn’t keen to take on the feedback so posting here instead. Having ordered a bap, I was given a hard crusty baguette and told that they were out of soft rolls. I understand this can happen and it’s not in their control. However I’d expect this to be communicated on ordering or when it was being made and not just be given a different item without even being informed or given an apology. The bread was very difficult to eat being hard and grazed by gum and I had to send it back. Not even an apology. Don’t think I’ll be returning."

"we are here last night and it was nice eating, friendly staff. we both had curry one was disappointed and the other was lammed and I can not recommend both of these dishes enough. the kokosreis was absolutely delicious and the cracker for the table when we arrived were fantastic. the beer was very beautiful and the music was beautiful and not too loud. the atmosphere was really nice and the restaurant was not very busy when we were there and so there was not much noise, which meant that our meals could be enjoyed."

"This is my local Kosher Chinese restaurant and cannot fault a single thing! I do not remember her name she's Romanian (I am so sorry) who knows my family well, she's so polite, friendly, lovely and I always get the same when I come in here vege spring rolls, seaweed, beef with shittake mushrooms noodles and sometimes egg fried rice and the food is so fresh, delicious and just wonderful. I have eaten in too and the service again is always so wonderful, I have eaten at the branch in Golders Green too and zero complaints massive portions, well priced and I always have leftovers for the next day. Just a tip if anyone's seaweed arrives a tad soggy put it in the oven for 2-5 mins but keep an eye on it as it gets burnt very quickly. 10/10 customer service, 10/10 for the food and I cannot recommend this restaurant any higher than I am already!"

"We phoned and booked dinner two to three weeks in advance: a birthday treat. The guy took our phone number and verbally confirmed. When we arrived it was shut: it shuts every Tuesday. They couldn't be bothered to get back to us. If this is what they call customer service, then we won't be back. Pity I couldn't post without stars! They deserve minus stars. Please note. So many small restaurants cram in extra tables and at the Mira they allow space and comfort. "each dish was served in a generous part and presented with class and creativity. it was a wonderful environment to relax and I enjoyed the tapas culture of sharing and the discussion about eating very much. our order of 5 tapas between two was more than satisfactory, and those seeking a lighter meal should probably go for 2 dishes each. everything we were served, and by the extension everything on the menu, was fresh and alive, unpredictable even. there was a turn to any court that my opinion on koh thai tapas over any other thai restaurant in bristol. this is a beautiful, quiet restaurant with full-bodied aroma food – perfect for termins, parties and small meet."

Wine list not great, prices for bottles very Food tasteless to average Waitress not very attentive Had to ask her times that we are ready for a drink When asked her that we are ready for an order she just said I will be back but too a long time to come and take our order Had to basically yell out to her to get a refill of my drink When coming to pay the bill was shocked to see a service charge ... I asked the manager to please remove the service charge as I felt the service was unreasonable he just said no he was not going to removed the charge It is illegal to charge a service charge if the customer felt that the service was unreasonable, we really did order a lot and on the dim Sum menu I did not see a service charge note. After embarrassing me and made me feel uncomfortable I just paid the charge and left."
