"We received a friendly welcome and the food was tasty, but the service was a bit haphazard. We had various waiters come to our table, and some were better than others. Drinks and food didn't all come together but nothing was said to us, though the manager did chase the final dish to arrive, some time after everyone else's. The food is expensive and there wasn't a lot of meat in the curries, instead padded out with raw peppers, and the rice portions were not large enough to match the curry one of the cheapest ingredients). The venue is large and tastefully decorated, but I think it could have more Thai influence in its decorations. There is outside seating and it's located a few minutes walk from the cliff top. Overall, a pleasant experience."

"I took some nonJewish teachers from my department for an evening meal and they were very impressed although the fish was incredibly expensive the salads and Thai food were much more reasonable and the portions were very generous. The salads were delicious and the restaurant very happy for you to customise your salad to suit preferences. Overall an excellent experience and all would be happy to return"

"enjoy a nice late lunch on the terrace in the sunshine. the food was delicious, service was friendly. it is a large restaurant with lots of space. there is a good choice of drinks. it is at the top end of the price scale (for Thai food) and I am not sure that the full experience with what they calculate would say it is more expensive than I expected it to be. there were 75 pounds each, for a starter, a main,- a cocktail and a half bottle of wine (one of the cheaper bottles.)"

"My partner and I recently visited Edinburgh for a short break and decided to try out Thai 2 Go Street Food after finding it on Google Maps while searching for Asian cuisine. After a quick 10-minute bike ride from our hotel, we arrived at the restaurant and placed our order to go. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered a red tofu curry while my partner opted for the pad thai with shrimp. We also enjoyed some pak choi and jasmine rice on the side. The flavors were authentic and reminded us of our time spent in Thailand. The staff were also very friendly and made our experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning to Thai 2 Go Street Food in the future!"

"I 've been to this restaurant several times before but this time the food wasn 't great. Tempura vegetables weren 't tempura but a very heavy, undercooked, batter. Duck in a curry was essentially just skin and not much meat. Crispy chicken option from a stir fry dish was slimy and quite disgusting. I 'd previously raved about this place but now I think I 'll give it a miss for a while."

"So I’ve been here a couple times but the service is HORRENDOUS. The only reason why I’ve come back is because the food isn’t too bad.One visit a friend got the Grilled Lamb starter and it was only TWO sticks of meat for just under £5. Luckily she said they were good. The first two times I’ve been the lady at reception somehow didn’t understand I’m lactose intolerant as I mentioned it just in case there is any sign of dairy. This took about five minutes to explain, along with the fact that I don’t eat meat. Then the third time I’ve been I went to pay with my card and the (from what I’m assume) owner refused to take my card payment as it was under £10. I went on to explain that the lady has taken my card countless times in the past. He then proceeded to moan about how bad his employee is, showing me card receipts of payments he didn’t authorise. Not only did this make me uncomfortable but it also isn’t my place to be told these thkngs. I just want my food, a friendly face and to go enjoy it."

"Decided to visit a Thai restaurant in Harpenden thanks to the recommendations of Thai cuisine people offered of this restaurant. Staff members are sympathetically talkative, attentive and, have a good understanding of individual cultures. The manager of the restaurant offers an organised customer service towards its booking system. He allowed us to walk in the restaurant without booking. But, unfortunately it is not a restaurant I would recommend to families with babies because it does not have a baby changing facilities. "Zer Cafe serves fresh, delicious food with lots of thoughtful options for vegetarians. Their breakfasts are huge, and range from traditional Turkish (delicious olives, jam, bread, cucumber, tomato and probably other things that I cannot remember) to vegetarian (try the one with grilled halloumi and gently cooked spinach on toast) and traditional English. They also do freshly squeezed juices. One of their breakfasts will probably keep you going until the evening. The portions at lunch and dinner are also generous. At lunch, you can opt for Turkish or Mediterranean food, or soup or sandwiches. For dinner, you may want to consider sharing a few plates, or go when you are really famished. We had several meals there (we discovered it on our own and then friends suggested meeting there), and everything we had was carefully prepared and tasty. And don't miss their extremely fresh baklava.The staff and owners are very kind, and great with children; the waiter brought a picture-book out for a two-year-old who was with us, and then gave her a small dish of ice cream.Zer Cafe is a great place to spend a relaxing evening, enjoying good food and wine, or you can start the day with one of their enormous breakfasts."

"Without a doubt, this is the best Thai restaurant I’ve been to in the UK. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and the lamb chops were exceptional. The Korean fried chicken wings were also bursting with flavor. I will definitely return to this place. I have been dining here for over 10 years and have enjoyed countless meals here, from intimate dinners for two to birthday celebrations and bachelorette parties. "A friend recommended this place to us. We have been in search of a good thai place in Bournemouth. Upon entering we were welcomed by the good ambience of a small fish pond and a nice server. We put in our orders which is a green papaya salad and spring rolls. The spring rolls was okay, but the papaya salad was amazing. It had that heat that I’ve been looking for in asian dishes. My husband who is not fond of fish sauce slurped the sauce of it. And then I ordered Pad Thai for mains and he ordered the drunken noodles. First bite and we were mind blown. It was amazing!!! The flavor profile and the mouth feel was just spot on. And the prices were great too. 2 starters and 2 mains was for less than £40. This is our new favorite place in Bournemouth. This place is so underrated."

"This restaurant serves the best Thai food we have ever had outside of Thailand. The staff member who served us was the nicest we have encountered in any restaurant. They adjusted the chili heat levels for us, recommended dishes based on our preferences, and even offered to accommodate us for the night when it seemed we might be locked out. As self-proclaimed foodies who cook at a high standard at home, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had many conversations with the staff. "Fabulous time at Swift bar. I enjoyed the Sgroppino cocktail £8) which was Prosecco and a bit of elderflower liqueur, and a scoop of lemon sorbet. Brilliant. We were promptly seated, and set up with glasses of water and menus. I asked our server many questions about the cocktails and she was extremely knowledgable about the ingredients and dominant flavours whether you could taste the elderflower in the Sgroppino, what the Solstice tasted like, if the Pearl was heavy on the almond, etc). She was great, very patient and gave very clear answers to help me make the best order of drink. The cocktails all look fantastic and the bar is very beautiful too."

"After our selected place was unexpectedly closed, we choose to go somewhere around and according to google maps Koh Thai was just around. We were not disappointed as the atmosphere was so awesome and staff looks very professional. Just start with a cocktail which was superb. Ordered main course with wine and after lil wait the dishes were on table. Small portion with big value didn’t look nice. Btw food was delicious without any doubt. Call waitress couple of times but seems it’s time to show who is boss at this restaurant, mean no one came. After third time, I’ll have to literally shout and finally being heard . On top of that they add service charges in my bill which was a JOKE but I’m happy to pay that rather then create any drama. All I wanna let people know if you’re going there then use their service properly because at the end you’ll have to pay service charges by hook or by crook"
