Waiter wasn’t much help when we queried it and sadly we refused to pay the service charge, which he also queried despite it being “optional”. First time we’ve had an issue."

We had a fantastic New Year’s Day meal here with friends. We were not rushed, the service was excellent and the food was as you would expect at a Hilton. Very good, especially the burgers.

We very much enjoyed our meal with one small comment my main course was tepid when it arrived and pretty cold by the time I'd finished eating it. The service was excellent and we had the best Dry Martinis we've ever had!

Breakfast is not great standard, limited vegetarian and the only vegan option is terrible. Salad is overdressed and the amount of raw kale takes a long time chew and is unusual for a ceaser salad. Dry chicken in the salad. The heritage salad rarely has heritage tomatoes so should be renamed.

The food was okay but the service was very bad, they forgot palette cleansers and served it before dessert one after the other. The last palette cleanser that was supposed to be a sorbet was a big scoop of vanilla icecream, it killed our appetite. Overall, the experience was very bad. We sat there for 3 hours which is nor worth the wait.
