We were told how great the food and service was. Unfortunately it wasn't, It doesn't live up to 4.5 star rating. Food was over cooked and cold.

Absolutely worth the full 5 star rating! Amazing turkish food at a restaurant with such generous and kind people. Looking forward to another visit!

Had the grill platter. Meat was freshly cooked and very tender and well seasoned. Accompaniments very tasty as well and very generous portion size. Restaurant was busy which is always a good sign.

Been coming here for 20 years and the high standard has never faltered. Huge portions, very well cooked. Large menu, lots of different types of kebabs, vegetarian too. All the sides that come with the mains, the various salads and rice and breads are also lovely. Great hummus. Can't praise this place too highly. Charming service.

This is my favourite resturant in the area I have been many times now, with friend, family and partner and never had a bad meal always know its going to be good. We regularly eat here and always enjoy the experience. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. The food is consistently high quality and dishes reasonably priced. It 's a huge menu but particularly I 'd recommend the mixed meze as a sharing dish. The last two times we 've eaten here, we 've had to request a doggy-bag for the leftovers as the portions were huge. Only slight criticism was the vegetarian lasagne, rather oddly, had large slabs of carrot instead of aubergine. A good place for vegetarians. Decent wine list.

Sadly their are no positive's for this recommended place, as it failed to live up to its 4.5 reviews. A mixed grill for 2 had one lamb Chop. The' best lamb spare ribs' were fatty and covered with a chewy membrane, it was rather unpleasant. It was served with only rice, no bulgar or cous cous. There was poor service and no staff interaction apart from taking the order, removing the plates and bringing the bill. Nobody asked if all was well or if we were enjoying our meal. That is telling as it was not a very busy evening and other places were heaving with no tables available. It was also expensive for a Turkish restaurant.

BOOKING Making a reservation for this restaurant on the surface seemed to be straightforward, but was not. Upon making a reservation on their website, a message pops up informing you that a confirmation email will be sent to your designaged email address. That email never came through. On the morning of the day my reservation was booked for, I emailed their general enquiries ' email address to confirm my reservation. Several hours later, after still not hearing back from the restaurant, I called an hour before the time I 'd booked, which revealed in fact that my reservation hadn 't been placed and was then made on the phone at the time.
