Wow what a great experience, our hotel (The Langham) concierge recommended I am usually not a fan of concierge recommendations but they nailed it.

Interesting menu (Venetian themed) but dishes lacked flavour and were crudely prepared and presented. That said, portions were generous. Service was attentive and friendly but eccentric. Very much an old school Italian restaurant but hard to understand the positive ratings on this site. Disappointing will not go back.

We went early before a concert at Wigmore Hall. It was quiet and relaxing The arugula salad with pear and parmesan was excellent. The stone bass special was outstanding as was the bigoli with duck confit. A very good negroni and some excellent Gavi rounded out the dinner. Dessert was heaven. Tira mi su and pistachio gnocchetti. Excellent service. We'll be back.
