"We had been to a room in leith so fancied trying the sister restaurant. It did not disappoint. Excellent seasonal menu. Food was wonderful. Cosy wee alcove table was romantic. My fish was perfectly cooked and the potatoes were sooooo tasty! My partner's shoulder of hoggett was melt in the mouth tender beautifully seasoned. Having had a starter of delicious puy lentil soup we had no room for dessert. Was very quie when we left but it was a sunday night."

Great food and great service. We were seated in one of the cozy alcoves, which worked well for us. We got plenty of attention from the servers even though they were dealing with two large parties at the same time. I highly recommend this restaurant.

large eating and atmosphere to choose small menu, but the prices are great and the eating delicious. I had the garlic bread to begin with sun-blown tomato and courgette, chickening slope for main (with risotto) and chocolate orange jelly for dessert, all we srumptious. we also had drinks at the bar before and, although the barman was a little rude, the atmosphere was great (super busy and humming).
