Lovely wines and the lady who served us was amazing-we were very well looked after as well as our dogs. Will definitely be coming back when we are on holiday again next year. Thank you

Great afternoon sitting outside enjoying wine, charcuterie board and the warm sun. Wine recommended by the staff and did not disappoint and good plenty enough for 2. The empty plates say it all.

What a great idea! A wine bar, cafe and off license! The scones and tea were fab too. The menu looked good but we only stopped for afternoon tea. Great location right in centre of Melrose. Great service! Would highly recommend. View menu

Had lunch here twice when staying in Melrose. The food was very good and served promptly. The customer service was excellent. We wanted some wine with our lunch and had the choice of everything in the wine shop. Very good value.

After epic dog walk with friends, stopped for g T and lunch of smoked salmon bagels. All excellent charmingly served by gorgeous friendly efficient staff who made great fuss of the dogs! Lovely lovely place, food and people-thoroughly recommend!

Popped in for a light lunch, staff were very friendly and helpful. There is seating both in and outdoors. It was a while since our last visit, we enjoyed our lunch then and it is still remains a great place to dine, the vegetable soup was delicious, tasty absolutely packed with veg. View menu

This has become our go to place for coffee and/or light lunches. The cheese scones are the best on the planet and they are super dog friendly. Add to that that the staff are really helpful and super friendly... but wait, they also sell some fabulous whiskies and wines (and more besides) and best of all, they know about what they sell. Don't change. Ever.

Visited afew times since Abbey Wines changes owners and was pleased to see a new menu today. Lovely fresh platters available. Would recommend the ploughman's and the cheese and the meats !! Lovely to share with a good bottle of wine (and plenty of excellent wine to choose from) Still the good homemade soup and toasties/sandwiches available though. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Lovely comfortable seating are with outside seating in warmer weather.

Visited here today. Had tea and cake and rocky road. We were sitting near the kitchen and I heard someone say to the waitress get the rocky road. I watched her go and get a packet of premade rocky road in slab in a packet, which wasn't great, then it was cut into a tiny piece before giving to me. I then went to the toilet which wasn't clear which door to go in and there was door to what must have been the staff facilities someone had left open and it was really messy and dirty. Would not go back, needs a good clean and freshen up. View menu
