"We were lucky enough to have dinner at Ristorante AceroRosso last night. We made reservations and had a great seat on the patio, facing the incredible view of the mountains. The service was attentive and timed perfectly. The food was the best meal we’ve had in South Tyrol. My husband started with the dumplings with shrimp and I got the mushroom pasta. Both were clearly freshly made and flavorful and delicious as well as beautifully plated. Our entrees were also equally delicious, my husband got the duck which was perfectly cooked and my filet was so tender and tasty. My husband’s dessert of the rhubarb and peach panna cotta was perfectly balanced and my Madelines with zabaglione (an Italian pastry sauce) was divine! All of he portion sizes were generous but not oversized. Along with our delicious view, we got to see the mountains turn pink as the sun set. We paid 115 euro for a glass of wine, 2 starters, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts well worth this amazing meal!"

deer tartare and delicious beef. very good ravioli. Great dinner. the only thing is that they give as sweet the cream brûlé to the pistachio that unfortunately does not know practically for nothing pistachio.

Very pretty restaurant and beautifully arranged plates. However, something was missing in the taste for all the dishes and overall it was disappointing. The apricot tart was overly sweet (like eating jam). The waiter and the owner's wife were friendly, contrary to the owner who was a bit condescending. View menu

the local is a beautiful hut in the center of the green of the vodo wood from which you can admire the mountain basin. the restaurant is cozy and very refined with a typical menu of the kitchen of the area with interesting combinations. wine paper is very rich. the staff is very kind and friendly. Sweets are special. strongly recommended.

What an I say? Just divine. My husband and I are both born into restaurant families and rarely find a place we both enjoy AND where the food is better than home. Well guess what? We found it. From the moment we arrived we felt looked after and catered for. The setting was simple and romantic. Exactly what we needed. The owner chose the perfect wine and from our first taste of the welcome appetizer they bring you.... we were in heaven.
