Afternoon Tea At Bohemia

Pleasant moment, really enjoyed the choice of afternoon tea cocktails which were all made brilliantly. Tasty cakes.

Really disappointing, hardly any service we had to go up to the bar, food was below par, and they had no record of our booking.

The food was absolutely delicious, the service excellent. What spoilt the evening a little was the techno music. It was really quite intrusive.

We were extremely disappointed at the afternoon tea for my sisters 70th Birthday. Although staff were pleasant nothing was replenished unless we asked eg another tea or coffee. I'm not sure how much my daughters paid but we had 2 small sandwiches each (crusts not totally removed, edges dry), 2 small scones and 3 tiny cakes each. Very poor value

Scones were under baked and almost raw in the middle. The portion size was small for the price paid. There was nothing special about this afternoon tea experience from a good perspective. The service was good- apart from when the server took the lid off the tea pots and stuck his nose in so smell which tea was which. The toilets were clean and tidy.

Didn't like two of the four cake selections. Have been to better afternoon teas in less salubrious environments. No sense of special occasion all very run of the mill. Would have been nice to be told upfront that we could have refills of the very small pot of tea we did eventually ask and this was done but other establishments have always made it clear at the start

The service was good after I requested to be seated outside when my table was originally set up in side. The food was presented well although the savoury items fell a bit short, just three finger sandwiches, maybe a sausage roll or something else of a savoury nature would of been better value Also a refill of tea was not offered, a tiny teapot giving two small cups I felt was not enough to finish the food. But as a whole it was a good experience

No acknowledge of 70th birthday, this was communicated at booking and again through the restaurants own website email and the birthday guest was wearing a sash on arrival. No acknowledgment of vegetarian guests, this was communicated through their own websites email Ruinart rose served at room temperature Food was average quality Service was relatively friendly if not a little hesitant Eclectic music but too loud No manager available to discuss these points and has not reached out in the interim

Reservation made for afternoon tea for a birthday treat. No table set on arrival, other diners had table cloths. Felt there was no benefit booking. Although we had put requests on our booking these had to be reiterated although this was not a problem and was catered for, the sandwiches were very noticeably unevenly filled and cut. The cream with the scones was served runny and had not been creamed. The cakes were pleasant enough. Tea was forgotten and mixed up so we had to swap. The staff were not very attentive with us having to gain attention for our requirements, i.e for our pots of tea and additional hot water, then we had to ask twice for the bill. Thank goodness for the Prosecco!!
