"at the beginning, our reservation about open tabel has not been found. then we were placed with large tamtam and then it took 20 min until a waiter asked us if we were already served. the drinks came very fast. when after 30 min nix passed, we wanted to go. the drinks went to the house. they were not prepared at all on afternoon tea but offer it via open table. I found it a groundless cheeky from the service to let us sit there and not ask for or talk to each other!"

the bloomsbury street hotel is a beautiful location, great hotel, pretty good service with pleasant facilities. the afternoon was only ok, but the sandwiches did not seem as fresh as they could be. If they could get that right, it would be worth a big one.

Lovely afternoon tea with helpful friendly staff. However when we arrived they thought from their computer bookings that we had cancelled the afternoon tea although we hadn't. However soon resolved offered free glass of Prosecco although we declined as do not drink! Tea service excellent although had to wait due to above

We were seated in the bar rather than the restaurant, tea served without awareness of who ordered what this being afternoon tea this is kind of the main point poured without sieve so the tea came out of the pot, requiring a fresh cup. These are small things but if you offer afternoon tea then make sure you deliver the core product well!

we had booked, but not quite convinced that they actually expected us. we were not happy because we had to wait for over 30 minutes while they prepared sandwiches. they were not destined with filling and were rather dry. the scenes were nice and the cakes are okay. The latter were a bit rich for us, but that was perhaps just a personal taste. overall not the best afternoon tea we had and not worth the price. probably not back.
