"We ate here today as a family for Sunday pranza (lunch). We found this place and purchased meal tickets through SG-tours. It was interesting. The restaurant seems big as it has different seating areas. The cave area is just one dining area, with about 10-15 tables. The other dining areas are located outside the “cave”. They provided us a menu but once we explained we had already ordered the fixed meal they understood. For each course there were two slight variation options to choose from. But since we had four adult meals, they brought us one large platter of each. Overall the food was good, some better than others but overall it was a unique experience and I am glad we did it once. I’d say it was good value for our money. The table was much too small for the platters they brought for our party of 5. And we were constantly trying to arrange the plates to make everything fit. The restaurant got very busy in the other seating areas, all with locals so I would say it is a generally popular restaurant choice. The bathroom was not pleasant and not well taken care of but typical of most Neapolitan public bathrooms. Food: The antipasti platters were abundant! Cheeses (mozzarella and ricotta), meat platter (prosciutto and one other variety), fried “fritters”, bread, bruschetta, breaded vegetables. Overall 3.5/5 First course was gnocchi- we got one with Pomodoro and one with a creamy cheese sauce (alfredo style). These were good. 4/5 Second course was meat. We got pork chop and sausage. These were decent as well. 4/5 Dessert was a variation of fruit (pineapple, kiwi, clementine) all very good and flavorful 5/5. We had a red and white wine and water as well. The atmosphere of the cave was interesting… they had plastic covers on the ceilings to catch the natural cave dripping from the “ceiling” water. It didn’t really bother us. Unfortunately the lighting they used in the cave was terrible. Lights you would have on a construction site or a garage shop to work ob a car were too bright and shining right in our face so that ruined the mood and atmosphere. But other than that the service was decent and the platters were abundant."

This place is wonderful. The staff was very nice, the atmosphere was great and food was excellent. We were a big group so we tried a lot of things, everything from the appetizers, through the starters and the deserts: it was perfectly seasoned and prepare. I highly recommend this place, it's worth it.

Excellent quality, service, and atmosphere. We left with two bottles of house-made wine, a jar of marmalade, and very full tummies. From the ample antipasti (just accept whatever they offer) to the fresh pasta, to the seared meats (which we didn’t have room to try (but wished we did when we smelled the aroma from the other tables), to the delicious desserts, we enjoyed it all. I had low expectations, thinking we’d be paying for the cave experience, but the food and service stood on its own. A true farm-to-table agriturismo. Grazie mille!
