"I no longer know what newspaper I read the tip for this restaurant, but it was on my long Berlin list. Unfortunately, there were no reviews on GG yet reserved with the wish to get a corner table. When we saw the place from the outside, the first question was whether it was a good decision. Large lighter with restaurant Pizzeria and a gourmet restaurant? We entered the restaurant and immediately we had eye contact with Cheffe. We were asked for the name and give 5 minutes to wait, as the table is just covered. The locality was fully booked, lots of staff who took care of the guests and then the surprise to bridge two glasses of Prosecco to the 5 minutes waiting time! We're not regular guests or celebrities. And it didn't take 5 minutes yet and we got our ordered corner table or better said a table in a corner. That was a good choice, because as usual with the Italian, some tables are closer together. A very nice and friendly young lady brought us the menus with the words Let yourself be quiet time! and shortly afterwards came a bowl with olives and bread. There is an extensive menu of pasta, pizza, meat and fish and a special weekly menu. My appetizer Prosciutto Melone (EUR 11,00) was normal large portion, the ham very lean. On the plate was a piece of butter, rather than garnish, but salted and suitable for bread. My better half chose the Hirschcarpaccio (EUR 18,00), juicy and served in the middle with roasted mushrooms and truffles, with a piece of lemon. The combination was fantastic and very tasty. In the meantime, of course, we had drowned our Prosecco and, on the recommendation of the service, we chose the house wine that did not come in a carafe, but unopened a bottle of Nero D 'avola Sicilia to EUR 19.00. Dry and a good recommendation. There are 20 open wines on offer! A variety of bottle wines. By the way, Chefs goes through the restaurant all the time, not intrusive or decisive. See if his guests feel comfortable and everything's okay. You don't see any unclear tables or empty glasses. The staff is perfect! Now to the main dish. Fileto al Pepe (EUR 29,00) 200 gr. Argentinian fillet with vegetables, potatoes and a green and creamy pepper sauce. I love steaks and even more good-fried steaks! The potatoes were very pink and the sauce brilliant! One serving Tagliatelle with summer truffles (EUR 22,50) for my wife, she is not so much the meat friend. Pasta boiled to the point with sufficient truffle, likewise nothing to put out. Finally a Panne Cotta served very appealing. Please see the pictures for all courts!! Since then I am not the sweet type, what dessert applies, I ordered a Carlos Primera and it did not surprise me at the good service that the glass was heated. With EUR 3.00 for the Carlos and EUR 2, for the espresso, you can be more than satisfied. The evening started with a free drink and stopped (two Grappa). We'll come back here."

Great, as always. Very recommended. If we can, we always go there when we are in Berlin. Even after reconstruction still very nice, cozy and very nice staff. Only the overview missed this time. We waited forever until we could order a dessert and nobody asked us about it. We had to call the waiter for it. But the dessert was top-class.

I visited twice while in Berlin for a conference. Once with the conference staff and speakers, and once with my wife. I got the veal and tiramisu the first time, and a pepperoni, salami and mushroom pizza the second. I highly recommend this restaurant. The...staff is very nice and attentive. The food is fresh, flavorful, and filling. It is well done. A good selection of wines and beverages. Highly recommend. Make a reservation.
