I'm short and short. Best Indians all over Berlin. Operation top, very friendly and with heart and soul. Eat every time 1A. Everyone in Berlin should try this food. Very large portions at an unbeatable price. After eating here it will be very difficult to be satisfied with the remaining food shops in Berlin.

We've been there several times (with colleagues or friends) : always a great experience. The lunch buffet is always really tasty, with dishes for vegan and non vegan. On my third trip to Berlin I decided to revisit Ajanta Restaurant. I had eaten there on my last trip to Germany and had enjoyed the food. On this occasion I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, which should be familiar to anyone who has enjoyed...Indian cuisine.I also ordered some Garlic Naan bread as an accompaniment. I must say that the recipes in this restaurant are as good as any I have tasted in New York. The atmosphere and modest price point made this a great choice,and I would recommend you eat there should you be in the Charlottenberg area of Berlin.

Small almost canteen like restaurant with the friendliest staff and mouth leaping fantastic food. Indian curries are never the same in different countries. My Madras tasted a little like a masala. I didn't complain it tantalised all my taste buds and was excellent. The...roti was cooked to perfection as was the rice. Only a single poppadum to kick of the experience but the accompanying sauces were a treasure to behold. The meat samosas were tasty, but a little hard and certainly not fresh they are precooked and on display behind the glass counter. Price was excellent at around for all vice and cokes.

I was really looking forward to eating dinner here based on the reviews. Place was easy to find. Good attentive customer service. I had the fish pakoras as starter and the chicken masala as main. Food came promptly and there was very generous portions. Both...dishes was served with salads. The fish pakora was just ok the sauces did not add much to the fish. The chicken masala tasted more like chicken tikka masala. The chicken was tender and flavoursome but there was no kick to it as a masala should have. Maybe I should have said to make it a bit hotter. The main came with rice. There are loads of seats and the ambience was nice. Food was reasonably priced. View menu
