Amazing taste of Yellow Daal Tadka, Spinach curry and some tandoori chicken served with Rice and Naan .All were freshly cooked and as they have an open kitchen it is good to interact with the Head Chef Mr. Kumar and his team in Hindi.

Ajanta presents itself as a tandoori restaurant but, to my mind, all the food comes straight from the pan and not a tandoor. Might be mistaken, though. Menu looked very exciting and varied, food was perfectly average. Would probably not go there again.

Being in Europe I always look for a good Indian food once I get bored with European food. And thanks I found this place. Please check their samosas the chef there knows what he is doing and the food taste as it's made in India and I was so happy to have been here. The masala tea was awesome, and all their paneer dishes were really yummy. Would visit here again when visiting Berlin. Small almost canteen like restaurant with the friendliest staff and mouth leaping fantastic food. Indian curries are never the same in different countries. My Madras tasted a little like a masala. I didn't complain - it tantalised all my taste buds and was excellent. The roti was cooked to perfection as was the rice. Only a single poppadum to kick of the experience but the accompanying sauces were a treasure to behold. The meat samosas were tasty, but a little hard and certainly not fresh - they are precooked and on display behind the glass counter. Price was excellent at around €18 for all vice and 2 cokes.

I was really looking forward to eating dinner here based on the reviews.Place was easy to find.Good attentive customer service.I had the fish pakoras as starter and the chicken masala as main.Food came promptly and there was very generous portions.Both dishes was served with salads.The fish pakora was just ok the sauces did not add much to the fish.The chicken masala tasted more like chicken tikka masala. The chicken was tender and flavoursome but there was no kick to it as a masala should have. Maybe I should have said to make it a bit hotter. The main came with rice.There are loads of seats and the ambience was nice.Food was reasonably priced.

Visited the place while attending a conference and that was the Urey day in Berlin.We walked a lot to search and were very tired and hungry!We got a great reception with jolly and ready to help person who seemed like the owner.Ordered both vegetarian as well as non- vegetables food for he group.Knowing the taste of non Indians, we requires red to make all dishes spicy like normal Indian food.We ordered Chana masala, daal, chicken dishes with Indian breads.I must say they definitely have a scope for making the food better.
