"our stay at the al borducan romantic hotel was very pleasant overall. the hotel is located in the middle of the center of sacro monte di varese, a UNESCO World Heritage site that allows us to explore the surrounding beauty of the region without any problems. the antique furniture in the hotel gives the ambience a charming and nostalgic flair. the panoramic terrace of the hotel's restaurant was particularly impressive. from there we can enjoy a breathtaking view. Food was generally good to very good, with a variety of delicious dishes. However, we must honestly note that dinner, especially the Risotto, does not meet our expectations. the shrimps were unfortunately difficult to find and the price-performance ratio was not consistent in this case. Despite this small negative point, we were satisfied with the rest of the food at the hotel. at breakfast there was also a negative point that made my experience a little sad. the fresh egg shells are missing, in particular agitator. Although there were few guests, the barns were already presented at the buffet and were cold when they wanted to eat them. it would have been desirable for egg dishes to be freshly prepared and served warm to offer guests an optimal breakfast experience. Despite this small lack, I was completely satisfied with my stay at the al borducan romantic hotel. the friendly staff, the charming atmosphere and the great location made this. the hotel has potential to offer an excellent experience, and I hope that they will pick up and improve feedback on breakfast.
