"at the foot of the burg torrechiara, about km south of parma you will find this authentic Italian rustic restaurant. they are sitting on plastic chairs on the terrace, but in a beautiful green environment with a quiet fountain. family service, attentive,...friendly and fast. the place can be fully booked on sunny Sundays. eating represents typical parmesan cuisine, of excellent quality....I find the tortelli d’erbetta outstandig! prices are very moderate. if they are looking for authentic, uncomplicated, but tasty parma cuisine in a beautiful environment - this is a place to discover."

We went there for lunch after visiting the castle. We sat outside and had a great lunch consisting of Parma ham, parmigiana cheese and salami. We also got newly baked/fried bread which was delicious. A simple but wonderful meal.

had dinner here on a balmy Wednesday night. the restaurants near the street were both closed and we almost did not go to the way to this place, as we could not see it from the end of the road. Nice that we....The workers were very helpful in the Italian/English translation and the eating was pleasant.

we entered by chance after visiting the fantastic castle, menu with typical dishes of the local cuisine. tortelli, fried pizza, tagliatelle. All right! Authentic gouits and delicious dishes served in the garden with a very hot day at the end of March. the girl who serves very nice and professional tables. price report, great!

went there for a dinner between family and friends we started with the fried and sliced cake, sliced well but not to the top quality and the fried cake quite heavy. Good tortelli, but they don't leave the mark. second of meat instead very juicy and over the other dishes. small note, we stayed in 8 and only 2 menus arrived and waiting times between the appetizer and the very long first. top location to visit then the village castle.

after the visit of the village, beautiful, we ate at lunch, seen the warm seprembre under the pergola my wife and I, and we got the fried bread with an excellent dish of mixed local salami, all accompanied by the egisto sauce (tonno mayonnaise onions in agrodolce) to spread, then we took first each : raisins to the grasses and tagliatelle si porcini, good and abundant coffee, all Served by very kind and courteous young waiters. If I come back, I'll go eat there again.

An excellent way to start your visit to the castle: moderated prices, good traditional meals... home made We felt a warm but also discret service. They gave us excellent advices to visit in the best conditions the castle (opened during all day without interruption). It's...impossibile to describe the menu because.. too many things would have to be chosen ! Our kids had the possibility to play ouside while awaiting the meals... Just GO there and have a gooood tasty try guys!
