We had a great time at Alkimia! The waitress was super nice, fun and courteous. So was the kitchen, specially with my food restrictions (gluten and lactose). To add up, the food was amazing! I totally recommend this place!

attracted by reviews and photos on tripadvisor, we decide to book in this place. we take the octopus on cream of potatoes with cannellini and guttiau as appetizer, to follow busa with clams, casks and chickpeas and sword with olives, capers, tomatoes, raisins and pine nuts. All delicious!

We tried this place thanks to reviews on Tripadvisor. We join the positive judgement. The lovely and very kind owner. The dishes well presented but especially pleasing to the palate. Maybe some misunderstanding, but it can happen. If you are near “La Caletta” we recommend this very nice restaurant and with honest, good prices! To be very close

I happened in this little restaurant by chance. Friendly and caring staff, unfortunately it was quite long the wait of the ordered dishes, although not being full and being the small room. The dishes ordered however were very appreciated, because they were cured, delicate and tasted. The fried squid good, but not special, or better, not to the height of the first we ate. The myrtle is really great!. Overall good.

1st: Booked a table for a dinner at 20:30 when we arrived there what happened to the table ? Luckily someone left ..: 2nd: ordered Prosecco they brought Vermentino justifying that it was the same … SECCO … 3rd finally they brought Prosecco, we left almost all the bottle … impossible to drink ..: 4th the food was really terrible totally burned and for frying the fish the used one week (at least) old oil ..: 5th wait almost 1h 15min for having the food … If you want to try, up to you, you know what you will have …

Mix tradition with innovation and you get cullurgiones with scampi and mushrooms, which is surprisingly enough a great combination. Continue with a perfectly baked squid with a refreshing yoghurt dressing, again a perfect combination. Finish it off with a Raspberrie soup with Martini and Cinnamon. Blown away by the smell so I forgot what else was on the dish. What I do remember was the big smile on my face when I left the restaurant. Add to all the dishes a very good (English speaking) service and the summary is simple: wow!

Congratulations! the place is simple, informal but well maintained, as it evokes the term bistro. we were greeted with kindness and sympathy: the waiters have always been attentive and present, and with relaxed and involuntary ways they recommended and served us. we tried the mussels and octopus as appetizers, excellent, then assrgiones with mushrooms, spaghetti with squid, busa with clams, calamari with sauce with cucumbers, all very good. to finish our daughters chose two sweets, autumn and spring: scenic and goose, especially chocolate cake. we spent a nice evening, at ease, relaxed and eaten and drunk well, what to ask more? prices and portions in my opinion correct. to come back!

Third time to La Caletta this July (a friend lives there and I've now tried a number of restaurants. I have to say that this has been my favourite. I only discovered it on this visit and myself, my partner and a friend decided to make it our last meal before we left (this is after eating there for the first time two nights before . Really delicious food. The highlights for me were the octopus starter, the most tender octopus I've ever had; the Thai style prawns were delicious, tasty and fragrant.
