"The Leve Inn is located in the middle of the old town, well accessible by bus and bike. In addition to non-students, tourists also like to mix among the audience, as there are, among other things, genuine Westphalian dishes in the Leve and a visit to Münster. A table reservation is urgently advised. Outside you can sit conditionally, there are a few small tables on the street as well as a smoker meeting outside the door. We were there with eight people for a small celebration, which we looked at in terms of clothing, because the dress code in the Leve is more casual and not sprinkled. We were still allowed to clean after we were kindly welcomed. The service was attentive and friendly throughout the evening and knew well with spice and potion. As an aperitif she recommended the house aperitif, forest berry liqueur with dry champagne and small raspberries (5,20€ . Well cooled, slightly sweet, but also herb due to the champagne, fits. Beverage selection is quite large, especially regional hammocks and the good Augustinian raw material are recommended. We chose the Augustiner Maibock (0.5l to €5.20, fresh and strong. There were water bottles at the table, whose exchange was a bit slow. The menu offers appetizers/small dishes (4,20€-16,50€, soups, western-fälische specialties (3,20€-17.00€ ), fish meat and pan dishes (from 14,00€ , vegetarians (up to 13€ , desserts (4,80€-9,50€ and extra asparagus dishes). On the way there were some wedding soup (4.80€ or beaten beard soup with salmon strips (5.20€ and warm cumin rolls with mett and onion rings (3.80€ ), most of which were the men at the table. As main dishes, we chose the following: red beech fillet in beard cream with cherry tomatoes, with salt potatoes (sold separately, 17,80€, esserin satisfied, on rates of operation Mai- Bockseparate served in elder sauce with red cabbage and late zle (sold separately, 18,50€, meat wonderfully tender, sauce spicy, esser satisfied The man chose the squirrel back with crust in cumin jus, vegetable bouquet and clot (16.80€ and was very satisfied. The crust crumbled, the meat was tender, the vegetables were crisp and the cumin jus were not intrusively cumin. I had the salad with fresh asparagus in Vinaigrette on leaf salads with a big ham (10.50€). On leaf salads was interpreted as a salad leaf in the middle. After all, there were some cherry tomatoes and a few crusty ham cubes. The Vinaigrette was abundantly dosed, the asparagus almost floated. Tastefully the sauce did not meet my taste, too little acidity, hardly seasoned. From the crowd and for the price, the court was absolutely appropriate and the asparagus was good. Overall, however, this combo did not blow me away from the stool at all. However, the bread served was very tasty. As dessert there were still walnut cups with ice, caramel sauce, crook, caramelized nuts and cream (6.50€ , men's cream (5.20€ and rhabarber crumble with ice cream (6.20€). My espresso (2.50€ was small, black and strong and made ready for the Maibowle from Mosel-Riesling with forest master, applesines and sparkling (650€ gling). The atmosphere in the Leve is western-fälisch-gemülich ( fireplace, wooden benches, despite the full house it was not unbearable loud. Waiting times for food and drinks absolutely appropriate to fast, we always got all at once with eight people. Service friendly and competent, cleanliness is given. The ladies' toilets are treppab, which can be a problem for disabled people. The food of the competitors was very good, especially the meat quality excellent. Unfortunately, I had (not for the first time somehow bad luck with my food, I didn't find it well. And that is simply not served in some dishes, I don't think so. Therefore I do not give stars for the food this time, because my negative impression should not affect the seven other good foods. I can only recommend a visit to the Leve Inn. Be it to drink only the delicious raw material and to eat a small Westphalian snack or to celebrate with a larger group."

Münster has much better to offer. Very hospitable service, food only averaged, nevertheless expensive. Not recommended.

For friends of bourgeois cuisine absolutely recommended. Good kitchen, good price ratio, cosy ambience and friendly staff. In addition, the waiting times are relatively short. A reservation is recommended at main times as the restaurant is partly heavily frequented.

Super good service. Although it is full, the staff is flashing and very friendly. The kitchen is good bourgeois and the price is right. At the WE I would preorder a table that is always well visited. You can sit there well and invite the ambience to stay. So... just try.

We felt the operation was extremely rude. Food and drinks were banned on the table, something we haven't seen yet. It happened to us that the main concern is to end and win as many people as possible in no time. In other Münster restaurants we have eaten much better and were served more beautifully. We're not going back.

The old inn Leve is the culinary flagship of Münster, at least if you are looking for traditional Westphalian cuisine instead of a Nobel Italian. But what many know, especially on weekends, can hardly be a table without reservation. The restaurant is set up in old Westphalian ambience. On the map you will find delicious meat and fish dishes.

The food is certainly very good and tasty in the Old Inn Leve. However, the foods there are sometimes very unusual and in purely western-fälische style and western-fälischer style. This must definitely be someone else, otherwise that problem will get there to find something on the menu. I would therefore take a look at the map beforehand, especially if I am not from the region.

If you want to eat Westphalian, it's right in the old inn Leve. Here there are exactly the dishes typical of the Münsterland (for example, plug-in beet stew, thick beans or ditches). If you are not too much on such rustic cuisine, there are at least some alternatives (for example pancakes, band noodles or carving). It is worth going to the Leve, the decor is very original and fits well with the orientation of the house and the waiters are sometimes a little cheerful, which also fits exactly to the restaurant. In addition, there is an extensive brandy card, so you can also try through Münsterland in this way...

I cannot share the good criticism of the old inn Lebe in this block at all, the restaurant owner must have written himself, because otherwise I cannot explain it to me. I had dinner with my husband on a Saturday afternoon in this inn, as it looks good from the outside and inside, but the appearance is cruel. We had to wait very long for our food and then it was served only lukewarm. It was particularly good for a restaurant with this reputation. But the worst part was the staff, we had to ask several times if we had to drink, they said he was angry; I'll be there, but he didn't come. I didn't feel well treated as a guest, who in turn adapted to the ambience that was very tireless by the unfr...

After a long march through Münster with short breaks, it was expected to stay in the old inn Leve at 7 p.m. All 12 people we had on a big long table without being too tight. Our whole group was NOT affected by the last review, but it was very friendly to use that quickly brought the drinks and the ordered dishes to the table. Salt of roast potatoes was also added. The dishes steamed at our table and everything, including me, had cost it. My pancake was very delicious and was enough to get drunk. The furnishings, as already mentioned in other contributions, typically original western-fälisch with a very old beautiful tile stove in the middle of the restaurant. No wonder this place is older (s...

"Today the hotel restaurant 'Zum Ausspann' was our destination. The hotel restaurant is centrally located in Albachten on a main street and is easily accessible. Parking is enough. The outdoor area shines through a very nice beer garden, which invites you to a good weather. In the restaurant you will find a very rustic furnishings, the wooden chairs have little padding and are unfortunately somewhat unpleasant. Otherwise, the restaurant is simple. The tables were very nicely covered. As we have noted, many did not come for the first time. The place was well filled. The employees probably in the form of boss and boss very friendly and attentive. The ordered dishes came quite fleeting, the drinks were well cooled. Köstritzer Schwarzbier was served from the barrel I like. For food: The porting was good, lettuce could be joined to a small salad bar itself, unfortunately the selection was not so big. My herbal salad on the grill plate was somewhat salty, the meat was partly dry and partly too fat (hard meat roll). Only the cow steak was very well roasted. My wife had more luck with the house top, slightly in parts, but delicious. A grill plate and the “expansion” house plate were ordered, see also the menu that I have uploaded. Also during the meal, the customers were looked after with nice requests, which I also found good. Conclusion: The service was great, the food according to my taste was unfortunately only average. Therefore in the end only good 3 stars!"
