Altes Gasthaus Leve

For friends of bourgeois cuisine absolutely recommended. Good kitchen, good price ratio, cosy ambience and friendly staff. In addition, the waiting times are relatively short. A reservation is recommended at main times as the restaurant is partly heavily frequented.

Super good service. Although it is full, the staff is flashing and very friendly. The kitchen is good bourgeois and the price is right. At the WE I would preorder a table that is always well visited. You can sit there well and invite the ambience to stay. So... just try.

We felt the operation was extremely rude. Food and drinks were banned on the table, something we haven't seen yet. It happened to us that the main concern is to end and win as many people as possible in no time. In other Münster restaurants we have eaten much better and were served more beautifully. We're not going back.

The old inn Leve is the culinary flagship of Münster, at least if you are looking for traditional Westphalian cuisine instead of a Nobel Italian. But what many know, especially on weekends, can hardly be a table without reservation. The restaurant is set up in old Westphalian ambience. On the map you will find delicious meat and fish dishes.

The food is certainly very good and tasty in the Old Inn Leve. However, the foods there are sometimes very unusual and in purely western-fälische style and western-fälischer style. This must definitely be someone else, otherwise that problem will get there to find something on the menu. If you want to eat Westphalian, it's right in the old inn Leve. Here there are exactly the dishes typical of the Münsterland (for example, plug-in beet stew, thick beans or ditches). If you are not too much on such rustic cuisine, there are at least some alternatives (for example pancakes, band noodles or carving). It is worth going to the Leve, the decor is very original and fits well with the orientation of the house and the waiters are sometimes a little cheerful, which also fits exactly to the restaurant. I cannot share the good criticism of the old inn Lebe in this block at all, the restaurant owner must have written himself, because otherwise I cannot explain it to me. I had dinner with my husband on a Saturday afternoon in this inn, as it looks good from the outside and inside, but the appearance is cruel. After a long march through Münster with short breaks, it was expected to stay in the old inn Leve at 7 p.m. All 12 people we had on a big long table without being too tight. Our whole group was NOT affected by the last review, but it was very friendly to use that quickly brought the drinks and the ordered dishes to the table. Salt of roast potatoes was also added. The Leve Inn is located in the middle of the old town, well accessible by bus and bike. In addition to non-students, tourists also like to mix among the audience, as there are, among other things, genuine Westphalian dishes in the Leve and a visit to Münster. A table reservation is urgently advised. Outside you can sit conditionally, there are a few small tables on the street as well as a smoker meeting outside the door.
