"From a surprise discovery of this quaint little village to suddenly sighting what appeared to be an upmarket restaurant overlooking the river, the setting, the service and then the food was incomparable. Savouring each dish, my companion and I promised ourselves to return. The Paella was authentic, not heavy, full of flavour and delicacy while my friend's fish was as fresh and light as could be desired. The service was impeccable and our dishes served with enthusiasm as we glanced down at the river and watched the geese below. A treat! NO noisy children were present, no noisy fellow diners, and a large group of Spanish locals that had pre-booked were served in a different section of the restaurant whereas we had tables for two at the window overlooking the river and bridge."

Molt recomanable.

Can't get enough of this place, the location, welcome, food, wine and service well above par for the area. We arrived with 2 Jack Russell's, unfortunately not allows in dining room, but did get their own room with water and snacks whilst we had lunch, excellent service. I can definitely recommend the lamb chops.... View menu

Ended up almost by mistake, but what a find, excellent food, service and wonderful position next to the Muga River. We had the fix priced menu which was fully explained to us by the friendly staff, and was a real treat and was so well presented. If i was in the area again I would not hesitate to return here and would highly recommend the restaurant.

tasting menu simply disappointing. scallop and fish clearly frozen. the rest did not go to the right except the carpaccio, to which the truffle oil gave life. Nor can a bottle of open water be served with the appearance of having been filled several times (cold neck) the typical in so many places: it pays for the good and desimulates for avoiding a scene when they ask "How was it? ”

Menú degustación sencillamente decepcionante. Vieira y pescado claramente congelados. View menu

This was a classic of a night for us, as the gorgeous staff had no English and we have pretty much no Spanish.. After a lot of sign language we determined our selection with much trepidation ...and much to our relief we could recognize the dishes and even better everything was beautifully presented and cooked ...had a fantastic night, great value and quality over looking the beautiful river.. Thankyou for your patience

Hard by the bridge spanning the Muga river, you can book a table on the terrace and enjoy fabulous Catalan cooking. Any place that can produce a delicious carpaccio of pig's trotter qualifies as genius in my book. I followed it with their Arroz Negre which was absolutely everything it ought to. I drank a toothsome Enate Chardonnay which came it at under €20. If I'd been staying and not driving I might have gone for the Pesquera at under €30. If you're in the area where France meets Spain Pont de Molins has much to offer
