"Wir waren als Paar anlässlich meines Geburtstages für 2 Übernachtungen in diesem kleinen und feinen Hotel zu Gast. Wir wollten ein Zimmer mit Seeblick in ruhiger Lage und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Alles war so wie wir es uns gewünscht haben. Ein schönes helles Zimmer mit Blick auf den Bodensee, kleiner Balkon zum draußen sitzen, sehr gute Betten in denen wir gut geschlafen haben, viel Stauraum für unser Gepäck. Das Frühstücksbüfett war sehr reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Auch wenn man sich z.B. Low carb ernährt wird man satt.... Am Geburtstagsabend haben wir fein gespeist im Wintergarten mit Seeblick. Das Essen war vorzuüglich. Die gute Küche ist sehr zu empfehlen. Echtes Handwerk mit Herz. Sehr lecker waren die geschmorten Kalbsbäckchen. Auch die Weinempfehlungen aus der Region sind jeden Schluck wert. Sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienungen haben uns zuvorkommend bedient. Das Preis- Leistungs- Verhältnis in diesem Hotel ist top. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall mal wieder. Auch die Vorsaison hat ihren Reiz. Walkability: Bushaltestelle ist an der Straße, mit Gästekarte kann man umsonst Bus fahren, z.B. nach Stein am Rhein oder nach Radolfzell ."

"We had reserved ourselves in the inn, but since surprisingly time the sun came, we decided spontaneously for the beer garden. It belongs to the restaurant and hotel. The salad sauce was very similar to my taste, but was fresh and homemade. "schöne Lage direkt am See und direkt neben einem öffentlichen Seezugang mit grosser Wiese Begrüssung und Bedienung an der Rezeption sehr minimalistisch, kurz angebunden und etwas zu locker. Konkret: Kein Hinweis wo das Zimmer ist, einfach Schlüsselübergabe. Kein Hinweis dass es Badetücher für den Strand gibt und auch Liegestühle die man nehmen kann. Das haben wir rein zufällig erfahren. Reservation im Restaurant nicht möglich, man wird an die Rezeption verwiesen. Essen gut aber auch mit Patzer. Suppen sehr gut, Fleisch und Beilagen teilweise nur mittelmässig. Restaurant personell unterbesetzt. Dadurch sehr viel Stress und Hektik. Preis trotz Strandlage für ein 3* Hotel zu hoch. Vorplatz aber auch Restaurantterasse nicht wirklich sauber. Die Tische schon, aber Boden und Grünflächen nicht gepflegt."

"the seahotel schiff is located directly on the beautiful lake and guests can enjoy the view of the water.At the end of December 2016 we were eating at 4th overnight. the bratwurst an zwiebelsause - as one is used to in eastern Switzerland - was very wonderfully prepared, but the supplement was not, because the served rösti was burned (black, not dark brown). When the waiter suggested to me the teller, I immediately noticed that the rösti had a little bit fried, or too dark. Without licking with the lasher, he replied that he was so and removed from the table. I - and also my friends - were speechless! because we were hungry and I didn't want to organize a huge tamtam, nothing else left me to eat the non-brained and stack the black parts on the edge of the plate. when the waiter did not get the complaining, we all dispensed with a dessert. If eating is desalinated, a waiter cannot see that, burned but already and then - you might think - the teller should not find the way to the gast at all, at least in a good restaurant. mistakes can happen everywhere, an apologies should not be the impossibility.The prices I feel - for’s thurgauer land - rather raised, but can be explained by the really good situation. in front of the house it has parking."

"Waren gestern dort Essen. Bestellt wurde Wurstsalat garniert/ ohne/ Wurt-Käse-Salat, sowie Getränke und Eis. Der Wurstsalat war sehr übersichtlich und etwas mehr aus dem Teller wäre bei drei kräftigen Männern wünschenswert gewesen. Das Brot war somit sehr schnell alle. Eine Nachbestellung vom Brot musste bei zwei Kellnerinnen angefordert werden. Da wohl die erste Kellnerin dies vergessen hatte. Das Eis war gut. Die zweite Getränkebestellung wurde dann komplett vergessen. Irgendwann kam die Kellnerin und meinte Sie hätte unsere Bestellung vergessen, wüsste aber auch nicht mehr was es war. Wir sind sehr oft im Seestern und hatten solche Probleme noch nie. Wir hoffen dass wenn wir wieder kommen nicht mehr die Bestellungen vergessen werden."
