I ate at the restaurant for lunch around 1300, and I did not stay in the hotel. Service was good, especially with Lucas. He was the receptionist but helped out in the restaurant, and he was the kindest person to me there and gave me better service than the actual waiter. They were able to find me a table even though I didn't have a reservation, which was very nice. The food was good, but the Reh was dry and overcooked even with the sauce smothered on it, the meat was a touch dry. Maybe it was just my meal. The ice cream was really delicious.

"We visited the sea horns during a small birthday party today, but we already knew it before, because it lies directly on the Lake Constance in the picturesque Höri municipality Horn – and because it precedes a very good and very special reputation. Apart from the fact that the sea horns offer excellent regional and seasonal dishes, it has dedicated itself entirely to inclusion, yes it lives active and of course day by day. The Hornsee is a restaurant and a hotel where people with disabilities can find a job according to their respective possibilities. And: The whole house is barrier-free in large areas, so you can easily switch on as a guest with restrictions, with walking inability, with wheelchair or roller shutter. Many small things have been paid attention here – and I appreciate it very much. On a warm Sunday evening at the beginning of August the Lake Constance region is quite overrun. The rest is a strange word. A trip to the Horner Seehörnle can be very relaxing. The complex is located in an attractive green area, away from large roads, but directly on the cycle path. There are parking spaces on the house, but sometimes not enough. The sea horn buildings combine simple concrete with attractive natural materials and are harmoniously immersed in nature. The restaurant is equipped inside with natural wooden floors, thick table tops and comfortable chairs with dark accents. Since the evening was still quite warm, we picked up on the terrace, but we had to pay with some cuts, but this is the case everywhere on the Lake Constance, unfortunately... On each terrace table there was a bouquet of flowers, the service immediately brought the menu. And after ordering also the Hors d ́Oeuvres with fresh bread and a mixture of herbal butter cucumbers undermined by black olive particles. Very positive about the menu I find the abundance of regional products of fresh fish from Iznang, vegetables and salads from the Höri, goat cheese from the area and the offer of a so-called "Pilgermahl", which is served in selected locals in the region as part of the Konstanzer Konsiljubiläums, foods which have already been given wine water for the Schlichtungszeit. The latter had a surprisingly fruity, rich Müller-Thurgau from the wine cooperative Sasbach am Kaiserstuhl as the basis and sprayed a fragrant aroma 3.30 euros. The Hörisalat with goat cheese 13.00 Euro was fresh and refined with grilled vegetables zucchini, Aubergine, Paprika and with roasted pine nuts. Nice to meet you. The only manko: the slightly lukewarm goat cheese was still too hard for me. I also know this arrangement from other locals: the goat cheese is often warmer, more supple and easier to handle. Beautiful in the local variant: an edible flower from the decoration above. The size of the part was ideal and good enough together with the added bread. The Matjessalat consisted of two matjes halves in a fine cream sauce with apple and onion pieces 12.50 . The whole is surrounded by fresh salad set. Spectacularly, the dessert variations look partly out here, but we were so tired that we only ate a double-nut organic, a part together. The ice cream is lactose, gluten-free, sugar-free and tasty for melting. At Doublenut we processed peanuts and hazelnuts into a grandiose duo. Stunning! The service was dedicated and very concentrated and was able to answer all the details. If it became somewhat tight, the cook also helped with the application of dishes. Perhaps the waiting times are somewhat longer than in other places, but this is due to the particular circumstances. We had to wait for the bill for a long time, but we were still restless because we were already very stubborn. In principle, the Horn Lake is suitable for family celebrations, conferences and relaxing and well maintained holidays. The hotel rooms have a high standard, the toilets and bathrooms are barrier-free. I also find the many excellent brochures, brochures and magazines beautiful and stimulating. Here you will get many suggestions for a filled holiday at Lake Constance."
