"I can only comment on the pub food as we did not stay at the inn (mores’s the pity). We booked in advance for a lunchtime table on Monday Jan We were met with a warm welcome and a large, comfortable table right...next to the roaring fire. Nice to have the opportunity to warm up as the weather was squally today and we had got caught in snow showers on Belach Na Ba. One of us had soup of the day (pea and ham) which was both plentiful and hearty, and the other had fish chips, the fish tasted really fresh and can’t be faulted in any way. We both had cranachan for dessert, it was a tough choice as the ice cream also sounded really good. The cranachan didn’t disappoint and it was a good choice. The Applecross Inn is now on our “must come back to “ list, maybe we will also be able to stay overnight and sample the breakfast."

Had a lovely lunch at this extremely friendly inn. Fantastic location by the shore. Very cosy with real fire at one end of the pub. Highly recommended

The most amazing food we’ve had all trip! We had heard good things about the Applecross Inn and we’re not disappointed. The staff were all really friendly and the atmosphere the bar was really cosy. The food was absolutely amazing, all local produce that was...fresh and delicious. A complete must if you’re in the area!

Amazing food and fantastic service, this place was recommended by friends and did not disappoint! The langoustines, Monk fish and haddock were all fresh. Try their own ales! Open fire in the bar area made the place cosy! We stayed at the Applecross camp site...which was a very short walk! Take a torch although the path is lit at night!

Day out with lunch and the food was good. However, the reason for is a simple one, thankfully there were screens up but space is restricted and allowing dogs, more than one made it unpleasant. Dogs rubbing against chairs as they came in and...out. On reflection should have sat outside. Places need to understand not everyone likes dogs and shed dog hair and food never go together.

wow, what a meal, we were recommended to visit here and glad we booked. the fish offered are delicious, we had cullen skink, smoked salmon/mönchsfische. the restaurant is very popular, so recommended to reserve a table, although they were very busy, there was...no hurry us through our meal. the personal was always on the hand and very friendly. great restaurant, next time again in the opposite.

excellent food and service. the friendly staff allowed our dog inside and the menu offered a great selection of tasty looking dresses. we had the pigeon and bacon starter, a ham sandwich and the suppe of the day and a side of chips only for. a fast snack lunch. all foods were well prepared and presented. very tasty too. the chips are the best in our country, we will be next time again. highly recommended.

Needed to book in advance as VERY popular but well worth getting ahead of the crowds. Food was fantastic (recommend the prawns if you can deal with the size of them good warming fish pie and quality sticky toffee pudding, and great locally brewed beer...to wash it down with. Staff were really friendly, and the atmosphere was cosy and friendly sit by the fire if you can. Overall great stop on the North Coast

visits after the trip over the high applecross pass. we are here and were taken up in us and shown to one table. it is a pub/dining corner, and the personal was all friendly, attentive and ready to chat. was not too busy and we have our meals in time. there was a great selection of meals to choose, and also some sandwich stuff. there are some seating outside, but due to covid etc., I am not sure whether they are in use at certain times. it's out of the way, but it's worth it. probably it does not take long to fill as this place is very popular. If I'm ever back, I'd definitely go back in.
