"We made the decision to call in here for a family lunch, as it had just started to rain. We were asked for our order, but only after placing it, were we told that there would be at least a 10 minute wait for the...hot food. Our drinks were brought promptly but I thought the cappuccino was too milky and rather lacking in coffee. By the time we had finished our drinks, my daughter’s toastie arrived. At this point we were told that the rest of our order, two scones, would be with us soon. They never arrived. When my husband went to pay, he explained that we hadn’t had our food and whilst initially apologetic, the young waitress told him that he shouldn’t be complaining! Luckily the more senior member of staff apologised again and assured her that the customer was always right! Needless to say, we won’t be returning."

We called in at the weekend for a bit of lunch and some cake and were not disappointed! The food was delicious and the staff were great, nothing was too much trouble and they are all so friendly. Even during busy periods they couldn’t do...enough for you, highly recommend!

Had a lovely time visiting this cafe with my partner. The staff were really friendly, made us feel really welcome during a busy lunch. The cakes they make are all homemade and so yummy (especially the cookies). We will definitely be returning again, and so...happy we found this gem in the village.

had a day outside and we found ourselves looking at clitheroe, we came to this coffee shop and since we only went a snack in, ordered americano, latte and roasted T-kits, the tee cakes were the best we lacked in years and not in butter, we will certainly go back when in or around the environment, highly recommended, clean, friendly, good menu.

We booked an afternoon tea for four people. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. We were looking forward to a traditional afternoon tea and were not disappointed!! The sandwiches, scones and cakes provided were all delicious and there was plenty of...them! They even boxed up those that we couldn't manage to take home with us for later. I would highly recommend Apricot Meringue for anyone looking to enjoy great food in a lovely traditional cafe with great friendly staff and fantastic value for money. We will definitely be returning in the future!!

"I wasn't at blueberries with my friends since before covid so it was great to kick through the door and see how busy it is, fortunately I had a table for lunch. there is nothing special vegan on the menu, but they try to place their very hardest, in contrast to some places. I love a jacket kartoffel and choose her beats with various items from the menu, so ordered frying and avocado. katherine, one of the owners and cook came on our table and said she could suggest some other dishes and also vegan cheese if I did not the jacket kartoffel, but if I still did how about the topping of sonbs. what a nice geste and I will visit her on her offer of other options at the next. I noticed that they were able to offer vegan options for their Christmas card and also had two vegan, frozen meals to take away, moussaka and chili. my friends ordered a chicken and specksalat and a fish and chips and both said that eating was delicious with a mention that the chips were the best. my kartoffel was huge, with a lot of topping, served with beautiful salat and quickly grinded. the food is made fresh to order and blueberries is very popular as full it was on a cold Wednesday afternoon. there is also a small marquee on the side of the blueberries, which for those who are brave and sitting the weather and of course adds extra space. I really can't knock blueberries, they may not have vegan options (although a cake would be nice and I need to ask if they have plant milk as I always have my own. but they will always try to eat rusty something satisfying and with announcing can something like a vegan hotpot that I had before, what was brilliant."
