"Found a brochure about this place in our hotel and as we love visiting food markets we decided to visit. We arrived late afternoon so it was quiet. The food stalls looked fresh and interesting. The great thing was the dining options. We chose to eat at Der Fischladen for their fish and chips. We ordered a craft beer which was brought to us by the waitress from the Brubaker Stall. We did not recognize the type of fish described on the menu so asked the waitress for a translation and she talked to the chef who brought the fish to the table for us to look at. The batter was light and the fish was excellent. It came wrapped in "newspaper" as traditional British but the newspaper was a flyer explaining the history of fish and chips. As we were leaving the place was getting busy. Other dining options included Italian, Greek and German."

Ate lunch here and grocery shopped. A real local market with fresh meats, fruit and vegetable stands. Lots of small eateries - so cheap!

the fried cadjau shredded while cutting into 1000 tiny fibers, which then had to be easily cut out of the Pommes base. a very tangible experience.

my order was canceled by the fish bud because they allegedly had an event that was more important. I can't say anything about the quality of eating. View menu

Stumbled on it as I walked past. I could probably spend a whole day there just tasting wine, Italian food, German food, homemade candies, and much more. Definitely recommend going if you're staying in Berlin.

Lots of interesting food options - we had a very good Peruvian Ceviche dinner. In addition to some ten sit-down food stalls, you find fresh grocery market stalls and a cheap food store. Be aware of their opening times, they close in the early evening.

Think street food, but more stylish and luxurious. I was there with a group, and everybody went their own way (many small restaurants, offering food from all over the world). Most everyone came back happy, with the food they'd ordered, and with the atmosphere in the Markthalle. View menu

Not sure if I should write a review here, because this is a very nice place in Berlin that's not (yet) flooded by tourists. Bin here twice within one month for two business events and really love it. In this unique venture you can enjoy good food and drinks from various merchants. The atmosphere is unique, one can sit anywhere. It's one big food market annex restaurant. Good for both groups as couples.

This market hall was built in 1891 out of prefabricated iron pieces, and designed to hold about 425 stands, it was revamped in 2010 to better serve the local community, with a wide range of fresh foods and meats. It is very popular lunch spot and we were not disappointed with our friend’s selection of a local beef dish, followed by a couple of beers from Bew dog. But in the evening is when it comes alive with lots of younger people eating and drinking, and many other activities and happenings. Try the Tip: Go to the large share tables and make new friends
