Astro - Menu

We drank here almost every day and had breakfast and lunch on several occasions. Astro bar has been totally revamped since our last visit, it has been done very tastefully.

Breakfast and lunch amazing. Friendly staff, very clean throughout and the food is beautifully cooked to order. Recommend 10 out of 10 and we are definitely discerning customers!

Have been to Astro many times over the last 6 years. Back after the pandemic we were very impressed. Still love the beer in ice cold glasses. This time we ate and the ribs were the best I have ever had and the stroganoff was excellent. Thoroughly recommend this place. The staff are so friendly

Had breakfast at this place yesterday and it was wonderful. Gorgeous coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. Cooked breakfast was great valise abs every bit was cooked to perfection. It has been given a make over since we were last here, and it looks great. Really clean, tasteful modern look. The staff were also very nice. Will be visiting again before we leave.

Visited this place over the years and loved it. Unfortunately the revamp has taken the heart out of the bar. It’s now just a open box with no atmosphere. Before there was always lots of people inside including locals and it looked cozy and welcoming. Now we haven’t seen more than 10 people there in a huge space of just tables and chairs. Breakfast menu is cheap and cheerful, just what you want on holidays. Ok the menu isn’t massive but the quality of the food makes up for it. Big portion sizes. My friend ordered the ham, tomatoe and olive oil on bread and I ordered scrambled eggs on toast. As you can see from the pic it was quite big portions. Everything was hot. The coffee was delish! Just ordered a cafe con leche (coffee with milk).. I’m usually a cappucino/latte type of person but find this option safer when in Spain. All in all, would return in a heartbeat for breakfast!

My partner and I decided to try this place as it looked nice from outside and reviews looked good. HUGE MISTAKE! My partner got a burger that was disgusting and half cooked and bread soaking wet from water from lettuce and tomato. He couldn’t eat it and asked for the burger to be cooked more they took it back to the kitchen and returned a few mins later and burger was no different. It looked like it had been just thrown in microwave. I had jacket potato and chicken and there was oil dripping on plate it was only ok the waitress with long black hair in a pony threw the dinner on the table. She knew the food was not good but did not ask was the food ok just asked were we finished with plates!...

I had visited this place before numerous times before the pandemic. Absolutley loved the pizzas. The first thing to notice when visiting is the place has had a refurbishment. The bar has been ripped out and moved, the kitchen has been closed in and there now appears to be a lot more space. So much more light too. No pizza this time. As it was late morning we we decided to try breakfast. I hadn 't ever had breakfast here before but my friend had previously. The staff were very friendly and welcoming at first.
