excellent brasserie food in not too touristic area; quick and efficient service; dessert a little disappointing

Wonderful proper French meal off the beaten track but well worth it. Not on normal trail so full of locals. Good value for money for Paris.

This little restaurant is not far from Nation, and is worth the visit. I have been twice so far, and both times we were all extremely impressed with our selections. The food was simply excellent and the staff/owner were so friendly and helpful. I will certainly be back.

Great taste, authentic ambiance, French cuisine with a modern touch. The Tuna tartar is a great starter. The entrecote steak is classice, but I would change a chice from medium to medium well. Don't miss the Tarte Au Pomme. You will have to wait 10 minutes or more, but they make it to order! One of the greatest you can find in Paris.

We were looking for a proper French restaurant and were delighted to find au petit panisse! What a menu! We really wanted to taste everything! The staff were all really attentive and lovely. The Chef even went out of his kitchen to give us a bit more French fries and bring our desert! The wine was very good! And 3 course menu @ 32 euros for such quality is just amazing! View menu

Our favourite restaurant during a week's visit to Paris, so much so that we went there twice for dinner. Great atmosphere, cheerful service and great food. The starters were interesting, mushroom ravioli, avocado crab both being terrific. For main courses we had duck with beetroot puree and classic steak on our second visit. Menu changed between visits which is clearly a good sign too!

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and we walked several blocks down less travelled streets, until we got there, walked in, were warmly welcomed, quickly seated, and felt at home…it is a small L-shaped room with lots to look at…the menu is on a black board which they bring to the table, and helpfully explain what is needed to make a choice. And, there is a lot to choose from, at reasonable prices…good sized portions, and excellent food…I will definitely go back next time I am in this area.

Was recommended here by our hotel reception and our only regret is we didnt try it earlier! The food was simply amazing! My entree was crab with avocado while my wife got the ravioli in truffle oil. Both blew our minds away! We then had the octopus and the pork. The octopus was unique and exquisitely done. The pork was tender and juicy although my wife found it too fatty. We ended off the meal with a panna cotta which had so many layers of flavours that was just unbelievable! Definitely returning if i drop by Paris again! View menu
