"I got SO SICK after eating at this restaurant! Je suis tombé SI MALADE après consommation à ce restaurant ! Fever of 102 degrees, labor-pain type cramps, watery diarrhea for days. It ruined the last few days of my vacation! My husband and I came here for lunch. He had steak and frites. I had fish in a garlic mayonnaise sauce. I thought that the fish tasted bit off but it was hard to tell because it was smothered in the sauce. Shortly afterward I developed a fever, and then the diarrhea and cramps started. It was the end of our trip and I honestly didn 't know if I 'd be able to fly home (more than 10 hour flight to San Francisco! We had a doctor come to our hotel, and he prescribed something to help with the cramps. He said that I had to try to let the diarrhea finish to get rid of the toxin (3 doses of Immonium didn 't help, anyway . It was a miserable flight home. I couldn 't eat anything, only take sips of water. I walked around smelling like a sewer. How do I know that the lunch at this restaurant was the thing that got me sick? Easy: my husband and I had been sharing the same meals for many days before this and up to the time I got sick. This lunch was the ONE time that we had different things and didn 't share. He did not get sick. When I got home, my doctor had my stool tested. It was positive for campylobacter, which means that I got food poisoning. So, do yourself a favor and AVOID this restaurant! They should be shut down! I am so angry that they ruined what was left of my vacation! I wish I 'd have read the reviews on Trip Advisor sooner. Many people on that website warned about the restaurant. Next time you can bet that I will be more careful. I 'm posting this on Yelp as well just in case anyone looks for a review at this site. In conclusion: if you want to get watery diarrhea, terrible cramps, and a high fever, then by all means eat here. They should change its name to Au Grande Maladie !"

small well located restaurant, very welcoming staff, pleasant, pleasant. but several problems are necessary: the card is not very beautiful, it is always easy to read, the decor is not even incredible (plastic planes). The dishes are not bad, even if I don't think I'm home. in fact the vast majority of points return to servers, which are really very pleasant!

During a family holiday on the return of the holiday, we fell by chance on this charming restaurant this noon near the arenas. The staff is charming and dynamic. The dishes are generous and tasty. Our 3 young children were hungry and there was not much waiting. We all enjoyed each other. Thanks again for the tourist tips. It's a pleasure to come back on a next visit. Good continuation. The ch'tis.

"Enoteca has only been going 6 months or so which may explain the lack of reviews on TripAdvisor but don't let that put you off dining here. We'd been staying close by for the week and hadn't realised at first that this restaurant is also linked to a great little deli about 10 doors down on the same rue. So you have two great places to discover! We stopped in there for a glass of wine first in the last of the days sun before heading to the restaurant for dinner. The owner is a lovely, attentive guy who is clearly very passionate about his Italian produce; food and wine! Over dinner we were well looked after and shared delicious burrata as starter, followed by two authentic Italian pasta dishes for main course. The beef in mine was rich and tender, obviously having been cooked for hours. Dessert were small coffees with a delicious citrus mouse on the side and plenty of biscotti biscuits to dip. Drinks wise we'd enjoyed a glass of white at the deli but moved onto passionfruit spritz for aperitifs followed by a delicious Nero d'Avola to match our mains. This red was fantastically smooth and fruity, with no hint of tannins in the after taste. I was surprised that the place wasn't packed out on a Friday night but there is a festival in town for a couple of days so that could be keeping people busy, but this place will surely gain in popularity and in the rankings in Nimes very soon. Recommend this Italian restaurant which suits this French city drenched in Roman history!"
