"As a result of consulting Tripadvisor we went for dinner this evening. We were not disappointed. This is a really authentic down to earth French restaurant. The service was welcoming and friendly and the tables were well dressed. We had the menu of the day which had limited choices but very French dishes. We chose veal in a girolles sauce accompanied by. Dauphinois potatoes and a steak with French fries. We also had starters of goats cheese and leek quiche respectively. The food was excellent and the chef very attentive to check the steak was done to our liking. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone who wants good down to earth French food."

Last minute dinner and this restaurant was nearby. The food was traditional French and good for the price. My niece enjoyed the crème brulee and the chocolat mousse was also very good

The sort of typical french restaurant I was beginning to think had disappeared completely. A small well cooked menu, great value and warm welcom from all. Probably the most enjoyable lunch of our trip.

We had the most delightful lunch at this little restaurant. Greeted by friendly people, served the most amazing food and chatted to the chef who has promised me as good if we return. We are only in this village for a couple of days more, however, we will certainly return before we leave.

After arriving in Sully sur Loire on a July Saturday afternoon and unable to find any restaurant open until 19.00, not even a cafe, it was a relief to enjoy a good meal here. Food was OK, plentiful and appetising, with friendly service. Slightly out of the centre but well worth seeking out.

Possibly the best restaurant visited in all our trips to France... Fantastic food fantastic friendly service even though the waitress spoke limited English and we very little French. Will definitely seek this one out again... All the food was heavenly. Highly recommend and so exciting that posted immediately on return to camper van... Tres bien....

We visited on a weekend evening. The staff were very welcoming and the food delicious, we had a delightful asparagus starter (kindly varied without seafood for my friend), then filet de boeuf and veal, both delicious. The cheese that followed was excellent. At the end, le patron leant us an umbrella for our walk home in the rain+ the food and ambience- the very kitsch (cat orientated) decoration

Thoroughly enjoyed 2 evening meals, the second of which was as part of my friends wedding reception. The choice of ingredients, cooking, flavour and presentation were exceptional. Prices for set priced meals are very reasonable, although drinks prices are moderately steep. The home-cooked food is delicious with one exception ... the french fries, we all agreed, were below par. All in all, this is one restaurant I rate very highly.

We went here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We all had the chevre plate to start. It was so good and beautifully presented. The butternut squash puree that came with the main dish was fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere was interesting and the service warm, friendly and helpful. The chef stopped by our table to chat and he was charming. Years ago, we lived in the area and had driven by this restaurant many times. I regret not knowing how wonderful it was, but am glad we finally had the opportunity and the experience.
