"first greeted by herrn garthe with a very fruity apparatus was quickly created a very loose and casual atmosphere in which everyone felt visibly comfortable. for each of the passages there was a brief explanation of what the meat and the wine is about.Every one of the passages was a sensation for itself, the meat was absolutely excellent and the wines served to fit like the faust on the eye. as letzes meat there was also a ugly very noble luma meat without accompanying wee which was in turn perfectly ready. there was a very refreshing sorbet with wodka. the service was very friendly and I appreciate the very personal bypass that is maintained with the guests. I can only put this avantgarthe to everyone very much."

I was here to a business dinner and have eaten fish, more precisely a filet with kartoffels and white asparagus, the level is very good, the amount does not exaggerate, but at a place like this it may also be. I have seen that the meat dishes are a bit more plentiful. elephant and pleasant atmosphere, recommended!

we were too couple there to spend a cozy evening with very good food and excellent wine. we had both an salad with goat cheese to start, one of the best I ever had.As a main dish there were meats of top quality and delicious supplements. we drank a really tasty wine, according to recommended! to the dessert there was panna cotta and a cheese plate, also this has convinced us!

this restaurant is our absolute favorite for speyer and the surrounding area. the claim of quality draws through all the areas of restaurants. excellent eating with a frequently changing card, plus a select selection of Palatinate wines. a garant for a culinary high-quality evening.Tipp: my recommendation also for allergic. it is best taken care of one and tries to serve a great meal that you also get.

Thanks again for yesterday's support in wine hopping.Without the unbureaucratic help of the chef, yesterday evening would have become a nightmare for us. 2 notebooks had suddenly disappeared from the table without trace – what now? herr garthe found a creative solution and we could continue the evening even at 4 other hostes and enjoy it uneasy. And it was a pleasure! all hostes we can express a big praise. so. it was just good.

we should enjoy a warm pre-summer evening on the summer terrace and have not regretted it. the sun had still enough strength to bring one to the table, but soon disappeared behind the roofs so that we could devote ourselves to eating. Both the loupe de mer and the kitchen recommendation "old Spanish kuh" were simply but deliciously prepared. that was delivered to the fish the wrong supplement, could be fixed within minutes after a short note - such flexibility has become rare.

The interior really is avant-garde - a stylish mix of modern and old, with various interiors and a plethora of art. The food was quite interesting, with the exception of the vegan noodles (those were a bit overcooked and not so exciting). The rest - the "noble fish" soup, cod, giant shrimp in an unusual sauce - were excellent. And the service was well above average. We didn't try any of the steaks, but we do plan on coming back here, and the way they were described was mouthwatering. A word of caveat - parking is rather hard to come by. There is a parking garage which is quite reasonable around the corner, however.

we were more or less random in speyer and are the restaurant recommendation followed by locals.A gold righteous decision - we had a great evening at philipp garthe and his team. The quality of the food was excellent, as well as the quality of the wines. The prices I feel appropriate for it.The atmosphere is really pleasantly easy and the room hospitable (we savory inside) straight people in how to wish it, but sometimes with significantly higher priced restaurants not the rule.We would like to thank you again for a really nice evening and look forward to the next time.Thank you youngs, it has made a lot of fun!Dusa philipp

"Mr The Anh Nguyen, the owner and also the chef of Le Cyclo, interprets a few traditional Vietnamese dishes using seasonal ingredients, fresh herbs, spices and aromatics. All his creations are served with French elegance. We were a big group of 18 people, so we made reservations in advance and requested several traditional Vietnamese dishes not featured on the standard menu. When people think of Vietnamese cuisine, what comes to mind is “Goi Cuôn” - fresh summer rolls that are ubiquitous in Vietnam. So it makes sense that our dinner starts off with them. Another popular appetizer is “Bò lá lôt” - lightly spiced minced beef rolls wrapped with wild betel leaves and grilled to perfection. “Banh khot” are quintessential appetizers - mini pancakes made with rice flour, minced shrimps and spring onions, golden, crispy and savory. “Chao Tôm” is a traditional appetizer where seasoned shrimp paste is moulded around a sugarcane skewer. Our main dishes are typical home-cooked dishes shared family-style, served with white jasmine rice. We had tasty “Bap Cai Cuôn thit ga-tom Hap Nước Mắm Gung”, which was basically steamed chicken-and-prawn roulade in a fresh ginger-Nước Mắm sauce; “Cá Kho Tô” - considered as comfort food by many Vietnamese, the fish develops a sweet-savory gooeyness from the sugar and fish sauce over the course of a long braise; simple but tasty chicken omelette; and “Rau Muong” stir-fried with garlic - a staple green veggie in Vietnam (if Vietnam declared a national vegetable, it’d probably be this).Due to its colorful history marked with several occupations, colonization period and foreign influence, Vietnam is a real melting pot of various culinary traditions. From a complicated Chinese to a delicate Japanese, a bit over-spiced Thai, highly distinctive Cambodian, beautiful Indian and super gastronomic French - we are happy to report our tastebuds went on a delicious culinary adventure to Le Cyclo!"
