"He Backhous Co is a wonderful place for a brew and a snack. They also have a food menu that looked delicious as well. The walls are all decorated with talented local artwork that is for sale and they have a stage for performers. It was raining when we visited. We were drenched and needed something hot to warm us up. The oat milk (no additional charge for plant milk love it!!! hot chocolate was just what we needed. We also had some glittery cake that was amazing! Backhous Co is such a cool place for a day or night out. I can’t wait to come back on a sunny day."

Nice atmosphere but food is horrible. Can’t even make a decent pancake. Probably they need a new cooking pan as my pancake has black spots all over

Went for some Sunday brunch, food was awsome and the coffee was good, perfect for a chilled brunch. Great choice of veggie and gluten free options.

We highly recommend you eat here, really friendly staff and quirky relaxed decor.. even a little thoughtful play kitchen for children .. we had vegan brunch and amazing vegan cake

Some staff were welcoming and friendly. The wait for the food was over 40 minutes, once the food came it was half raw. We notified one of the staff and no apology nor care was given.

Cute little breakfast and brunch spot. Very urban/retro with great cakes. Very comfortable sofa chairs to sit in. A great place to come and do some work with coffee and a cake. There are seats outside also. Free tea pot refills too!
