"We stopped in for lunch, at Bacus Romano, a restaurant with a large street side patio. I'd wished I knew how talented the kitchen staff is, or I would have ordered more adventurously. There is steak tartare, carpaccio, and a variety of seafood fare. The meat offerings included beef, ox and colt. The Cheese salad was generously portioned, with Roquefort, Manchego, Goat, Brie and Camembert cheeses, raisins and walnuts on a green salad. Get the dressing on the side as it's a sweet Honey Balsamic. The Ox burger was very good, with a side of fries. The delightful surprise was a Curried Aioli Dip. It was so delicious that I gave my date a taste, of a French Fry dipped in this heavenly sauce. The waiter, noticed me doing this, so I gave him a thumbs up. He returned to the table with a ramekin of more Curried Aioli now that's attentive service! Prices are very reasonable. It seemed to be patronized by the local Spaniards."
