"this hotel we knew about an earlier stay. it is located on the balmer lake, away from the usual used tourist because. they can play golf here as the name says. it is a large, idyllic location with different smaller houses on it, in which the rooms are located. we used the panoramic terrace for all stays on the afternoon. we didn't live here. In 2021 we went back to balsam to drink coffee. my companion drove the car too short behind the recipe. there is a narrower way to the panoramic terrace. I went out and went on the somewhat steep way. my companion was looking for a parking lot. later we learned that there is another parking space on the top, about 100 m away. I was there to save the steep descent. there is no elevator to the panoramic restaurant. the guests will be brought into their rooms with their luggage with small golf cars. the hotel guests can also drive to the golf course with such a car. When I went to the upper parking lot, I was asked by a hotel employee if I wanted to go. as I almost arrived on the parking lot, it was not worth it. Otherwise I would have tried: the panoramic terrace offers a beautiful view of the balmersee on a series of tables. in the afternoon, cakes, ice cups and matching drinks such as coffee, tea and soft drinks are offered for coffee. we had a cup of ice and a coffee taste, enjoyed the magnificent view. the other guests on the terrace seemed to live in the hotel. the whole atmosphere was friendly relaxed. the personal was as they can expect in such houses, friendly and friendly. is currently closed due to corona to ende februar 2022. I wish the operators that it will continue with many guests. we can recommend the hotel for the afternoon coffee visit. we can't say anything about the hotel stay. we liked what we saw."
