"Spend more, you probably won't get better. Great range with a daily Menu. Good wine by bottle or pichet. Plate sizes - good to enormous. The position is excellent. The staff are gregarious and there for you.Diary note - try to be here for a meal (lunch or, if evening, reserve) on June 21 when the whole town is involved in a Music Festival which this year had 39 bands of various genres. Next year - make it a date.Back to the Bar/Restaurant - eat inside or outside, but ask for what you would like, even if you don't see it or it seems to be on another menu. Not our first time here and definitely not our last.Bon appetit."

We ordered different things. The children enjoyed nuggets and fries, and their menu for children included ice-cream. Situated by the river, perfect for us to then play mini golf which was close by. Also close to a museum of the river Seine and an outdoor playground.

On holiday in the surroundings. This place was highly recommended and we see why. Service is very friendly and tender. Large selection in food, excellent value for money in the menus. The quality of food is very good. Many local customers (recognises it... away, does not).

It rained, the place was crowded, we were a table of seven including two children and a baby, our order was complicated and yet, the only waitress listened to us patiently and served everything as ordered and in time. I had a decent fish soup and a very good hamburger. Our only complaint is that the seafood was plated unavailable. We were all satisfied with our food and the price was very reasonable.

We both had a great fish meal here - the name of which I cannot remember - one with chips and the other with tasty vegetables, served by very pleasant staff/owners, who despite my manky French managed to get us just what we wanted. It turned out that we made the right decision by not having a starter as the dessert of crepe with chocolate sauce was delicious! Definitely to be recommended and well-priced.

We ate Brasserie du Bac on an early september evening and returned the next day because it was just plain good. Excellent local cider and very good beef, and the Saint Pierre (fish) with sorrell sauce (a l'oseille) was delicious. Oh yes and a very good beefsteak tartare, chopped, not ground, with all the trimmings served separately for the customer to add. Friendly and efficient service. Don't expect frills or novelties: this is just a simple, inexpensive but good place to eat.

We found this bistro accidentally early on a Sunday walk. The place filled very quickly after our arrival, but the food service was quite fast. We were hurried, so we chose Burger meals, including the fish version and a vegetarian. Each burger was... as desired, and they were delicious, complete with frits. The children had desserts and they were very generous. The menu is very good, with daily specialties on board, and the prices were very reasonable for such good quality foods.
